Totally disappointed. I noticed fresh scratches on my driver's side door immediately after having my NEW SUV washed at Udo's. I spoke to the manager who 100% dismissed me, wouldn't entertain my concern nor look at the damage. He in fact told me that the scratches had to have already been there and now that my vehicle is clean, I noticed them. However, I hand washed my SUV the day prior and I only had the vehicle washed at Udo's due to bugs being on the front from the night before and I didn't have time to hand wash prior to a funeral service. So, my driver side door was already clean and I would have noticed those FRESH scratches just like I immediately noticed after the Udo's wash. The most disappointing is the way the manager handled me, total disregard. I have been going to Udo's for years, I expected more empathy from the manager even if there was nothing he could have done to resolve. I will not be going back. came to this car wash at 4:50 on a Friday and sat in line for over 40 minute. get to the front of the line for them to tell me that they stop doing cert services at 5:30 when the hours of operation clearly states 6pm. Spoke to the manager and he was no where near accomodating nor understanding to my frustration. His only reply was that I would be slowing down his workers from going home and that I shouldn't have came at the end of the day. I've been coming here for years and never was as disappointed as today. $42 and a super wash later, my car was still filthy and when I inquired about the dirt all over my black trim. I was told it needed to be detailed... excuse me but a $25 super wash with $17 in upgraded shouldn't come with expectations of a dirty vehicle afterwards. Did I mention the car is brand new? I get a better wash from the five dollar gas and wash special and that is no lie. So I just wasted an hour and $42 and I could've done a better job with 15 minutes at a roll of quarters! Unfortunately, Just like everything else on the southside, the quality has downhill. It's a shame too the old man wouldn't let that happen, he was actually committed to quality. I came home and it genuinely came off with a wet rag, I guess it's back to a bucket and the driveway... save your money don't go here. They must have had to turn down the soap and water to pay for that new siding and asphalt!! read more

So I came to this car wash for the first time and I questioned the material of the washers because I wanted to make sure they were no plastic. The older lady that sits at the desk yelled at me. She was so loud one of the employees came from the back. As I preceded to tell her I'm just trying to make sure I'm at the right location she again yelled! Everytime you come here it's a different price with the membership. Then you have to tell them that you a member at tge vacuum stations. But they know you a member when you get to the register make it make since. Car wash is great customer service is horrible. read more

Some people are never happy no matter to what lengths the hard working finishers go. So many never even tip the guys who hand them back the keys. I don't normally do this but I was provoked. I used to go here more often. But each time I went, it seemed like the prices kept going up and the services went down in quantity and quality. They nickel and dime you to death on every little thing. My favorite is when they want to charge for extra vacuuming. Really?! How about you just vacuum it right? Anyway, last time I was there the owner got involved when I asked the attendant to wipe the seat in which he spilled some fluids. I was like, come on, you know me. I explained that I just wanted the fluid wiped off and the owner proceeded to insult me because apparently I don't come in enough. Long story short, I'm done. The real rating is no stars. The wash is worth it. But do not come with a full bladder. Mature lady behind counter customer service skills lacks. After she so readily took what I consider an expensive wash $45 + tip ( considering today's gas prices) left me to feel foolish at best to have done business with them. Which is sad because the frontline was sooo accommodating. I simply asked if there was a restroom I could use, she simply greeted the request with a curt no. The old ugly lady at the counter is rude as hell! She didnt greet me or anything, I brought my range over for a super wash which shows $18 on the board but when you walk in she said it's $20 for a oversize vehicle, they need to post that on the board too! I gave her a $50 bill, dumb ass wouldn't and didn't count my change back to me. When they were done with my vehicle it was not clean at all, windows still had dirt on them and the inside looked like it hadn't been touched at all. I wouldn't take my dog to be washed there. There was a white guy that suppose to vacuum the inside of vehicles, while I was waiting on mine I saw him stick his hand down the back of his pants and underwear and dig in his nasty ass, beware, that person touches the inside of your car so who knows what he pulled out or have...just nasty! read more

This is my first negative review ever.I never post anything negative but I felt the need to share to all who would even think about patronizing such an unprofessional non trustworthy businesses such as this one.I could not allow such poor customer service to slide without being addressed. This was a horrible customer service experience that I've had in quite some time. On the 7 Sept I received a full car detail for $140. I picked up my vehicle and everything seemed fine. I went home looked in my trunk and noticed my accessory coat hanger that was once affixed to my driver seat, was now in my trunk and clips broken. I returned to shop and spoke with a Max, who asked me if I'd like him to glue the brackets together...WHAT???? It wasn't glued when brought it to the shop for detail.Then Max said contact Jaguar parts and ask if the bracket is sold separately from hanger and we'd talk after that. Jaguar was contacted and of course the part is not sold separately. Max was informed, and he asked me questions like " if my seats go back and forth and up and down does the hanger move. My response was, no. Then he places me on like a 20 second hold and says he reviewed the video and saw it fall off during detail...WHAT????? I then say if that was the case why wasn't I Informed that something was broken on my car and not just placed in my trunk..His response was that he's not for certain if his guys did it or not..WHAT??? Didn't he just WATCH THE VIDEO AND IT JUST FELL OFF. He says that he'll give me $50 toward a car wash,but refused to replace my hanger. My reply was, No. I refuse to be disrespected and return to patronize any business that refuses to do right and not respect a customer who has done plenty of business with them and refuses to accept wrong doing and make a long time customer whole. Max response is that, he's aware that I was a loyal customer but that's the only thing he's willing to do and that he has a sign that clearly states NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE. I went there today and it will be my last time. they usually vacuum ok not 100% but 70% today was barely any at all then he shows me how he vacuumed and it was terrible he barely pushed down to vacuum at all then said oh I can do more for an extra charge you need detailing. I said no he barely even vacuumed at all even the seats had stuff. so they manager ( heavy set white guy) said that's all they do no more except extra charge and that it looked fine to him. next to me was another person complaining too. so never again I'd rather pay extra at delta sonic up the street and get treated with more respect. read more

This car wash is a place where I would never go to again. I would not send my pup to get washed there. You pay a decent amount of money to have your car washed. Be careful I have a new Terrain and Verano pearl white one came out dirty and the other scratched and dirty. I was very upset and attempted to address the issue with the manger. The manager never offered me anything. I expected at the very least for him to offer a car wash being that dirt was left on my cars. He never rectified the situation and has poor management skills. Udo's Prairie State Car Wash is a long-time favorite of mine. I had my car washed today and there were a tremendous amount of customers present. One of the great things about it is that it is well-staffed with everyone from workers to cashiers to people in charge of the establishment so everyone got in and out of the place very efficiently. Have used this car wash many times over the last 15 years. This time, my car came out with several long scratches by the rear window. When I showed them to the manager, he said there was no way it happened there. I had just lifted the hatch prior to having my car washed to remove items from the back so they could vaccum. There were no scratches. He just said it was not his problem. He could have had his guys try to use a compound to rub the scratches out, but he didn't care one bit. He lost a long time customer, and all he said was, "Oh, well." I would try another car wash if I were you. I know I will. read more

Was told first served and when I got car was was told buy owner its a nice day so your vehicle will take longer. I paid $100.00 to have interior cleaned and ended up with horrible job. Didn't complete seats, grass and leafs on carpet after it was shampooed and clean....owner said it must have happened after I left car was. I went to Udo's car wash because it good ratings...what a disappointment! Will eat the Hundred and take my vehicles to real professionals. Fuller's Car wash was only $35.00 more.
