Interesting car wash because it had multiple stages. Pre wash. Then several guys power wash your car before going into main wash. Hand dry at the end of you need it. Seems like several people have memberships and have quick access. No signs on how much any of the wash costs. They had to explain the cost which seems confusing. Clean car. read more

As soon as i got out for my interior cleaning nobody came to greet me or ask what i wanted them to focus on. They just ignored me and just kept wiping my car and the other workers just suddenly disappeared. I just felt uncomfortable because why did everybody else get greeted and spoken to and i was just overlooked like that is beyond me. I won't be coming back. Poor customer service. read more

I'm so over this place, been coming here for years. I use to live 2 blocks behind delta sonic. Now I live 20 minutes away but still come to this delta sonic. They are getting worse and worse, half the time I'm in a hurry and just need to go, but today I have a little more time. I'm a tipper and don't mind tipping a decent tip for my service, and as I go to pull off I notice the basic dashboard isn't wiped off, looks like all was done was they vacuumed it out. Then one of the young men whom I'm trying to inform about my experience has an attitude, listen you chose this job, not me. I'm on the unlimited, which I'm giving money away I come maybe once every few months and no matter how I say this my last time , I give them another try to disappoint me. I spoke to the manager whom was pleasant and respectful and will take care of my issue today. I'm enrolled in the unlimited wash program. The lane designated for members is a perk. The lines can be long but the do move quickly and you don't actually wait very long. My car is always shining and clean when I go there. They don't use harsh objects that scratch your car. The towel dryers at the end do a great job also. read more

I love the unlimited car wash club. But if you are having your car detailed you have to specify you want your trunk cleaned or they will not do it at Homewood Location. When I had car detailed at Crestwood location I did not have to ask, they just did it. Now I have to clean my trunk after spending $175 plus tip. Not happy today. read more

Been a customer since its inception at the Homewood location. I've always enjoyed the value , you can't beat their monthly rates for full service. That being said, I recently upgraded my wheels and they're WHITE and because they're WHITE I have a hard time keeping them clean. I work in the Calumet City area and I live in Chicago Heights, I keep my cars very clean (obsessive) . So when I head home I take 394 south and exit at Sauk trail and head towards The Heights . However when I want me car washed, I take 159th over to Halsted, take Halsted south and stop at Delta Sonic before going home. Now I said before I keep my cars extremely clean and I'm very meticulous so even when they do a great job, I get home and touch it up with some spray wax and make it look good. Now back to my WHITE wheels, they're a pain in the butt to keep clean but I take care of them myself when I arrive at home after Delta sonic cleaned my vehicle, however they have an automatic wheel shine at the end of their wash and I've recently realized that when I exit the wash my wheels are dirtier then when I arrived at the wash and they're a pain in the ass to clean!!! Greasy black tire shine all over them and I end up spending 40 min getting them clean after JUST paying for a wash with tip. The next time I went to the wash I asked the attendant at the car wash entrance if it was possible to turn off tire shine? He replied with "no problem, I got ya" but when I exited the car wash the tire dressing sign went on and sure enough my wheels were now super dirty, I was upset but I left and went home. Now the 3rd time, again I asked the attendant to turn off tire shine and again get replied with sure no problem (different employee then last time) and again when I exited the same thing happened only this time I swung back around and advised him that it did NOT turn off and again my wheels were super dirty. He replied with "My bad sir I didn't know how to do it" . I went through the car wash again but the wheels remained full of black greasy tire shine, I then entered the interior section and asked the young man to get them clean for me (he did an EXCELLENT job however now I've spent almost 2 hours there and because it's not his fault and he did an amazing job I tipped him $10 . Ok so maybe the solution is simply asking for him and now I'll just have to continue to be try and be as generous as I can afford to be when tipping because again it's a pain in the ass to clean my wheels. Now the 4th time, again I asked for tire shine to be turned off and this time it was actually completed! I exited the car wash, had them dry it went home and touched it up and it was no big deal ! A light spray to my wheels and they were clean. 5th and six time I went they did not do what I asked and the young man who cleaned my car last (John who is from the Crestwood location) was not there, I explained my situation to the attendant who received my car at the interior entrance and she said she would have someone pay attention to my wheels but when my truck was delivered to me she did not do what I asked and I'm not someone who like to complain so I simply said thank you, tipped her and went home and cleaned my wheels, I then waited until the next business day and canceled my monthly membership. ​ read more

The quality of the car wash has gone way down in recent months! The old crew use to really take their time and dry your car completely before giving you the thumbs up. This current crew simply does NOT focus on what they are doing at all. They chat way too much across the cars. They miss lots of spots and water just drips down the car leaving water trails. I just cannot justify giving this crew any tips for the lousy job they do drying off my car. The one or two that take the time to focus on what they are doing, get LARGE tips from me. Should be zero stars for this review. Should of posted pictures too, but the guy at the end of the wash cleaned the grease off already. Yes, grease. At the end of the wash, after your ride is all clean, magic black grease will appear on your windshield, and roof. Right as your car rolls through the tire shine applicators. I called customer service and got no where. I don't seem to have any issues ever at any other delta location, just this one. It's terrible because the only other location close to me is about a 20 minute drive. Shame on halsted st delta, you people are the worst. This place is a total rip off. I joined the monthly unlimited about two weeks ago. I went back today to get a car wash. My interior needed to be cleaned so I paid an extra $15.00 for that. Then Dj upsold me a better interior cleaning for another twenty bucks. I was ok with that as well. So 35 dollars later and a ten dollar tip. I noticed that my carpet car mats were not done and I asked why. They said to have the mats "Desalted" was another $35.00 I spoke to the customer service manager and the 800 number for customer service. No help no courtesy. No apology. Destroyed my new car's paint. Paid for the best wash at a "touchless carewash" only to come out of the wash dirty and the dirt rubbed all into the finish. Management advised me that the car left factory with scratches coincidentally placed at all the areas that were wiped by delta sonic. BE WARE!!! I'm a usual customer for delta sonic. At this specific wash an employee used a chemical on my vehicle and said he wanted the chemical to sit on my vinyl wrapped roof to get some black tar that had gotten on my vehicle from another vehicle that had rode through. When he was done the chemical left a discoloration in my roof, he advised me to make a claim with his manager. Later on I went to the same wash to re give them a try a couple weeks later and a new guy forgot one of my floor mats in my car. The next day I noticed when my girlfriend asked me what happened to my floor Matt on her side(thinking I was up to something suspicious), so I called the store and notified the manager. They looked for my floor matt and they couldn't find it, so the manager told me he would file another claim with corporate. Corporate sent me this letter basically saying they have nothing to do with what happens in their cash washes and they will not send me the amount of money to restore MY 50 THOUSAND DOLLAR CAR back to normal, but I can feel free to write a review like this one or I can take them to court. Busy day running errands. It was a nice Autumn day in Chicago. So, I decided to get a car wash. Again, the weather was good, so the line was pretty long, but it moved rather fast. The customer service representative offered services for the exterior and interior. I knew I was getting a wash, but after listening to her talk about the interior services I was convinced to get my inside vacuumed. (Let me say, it didn't take much convincing, because the inside of my car was out of control!) I was informed $29 would get me a 30 minute detail. So, I paid and continued forward to get my exterior wash, and followed the signs to enter the line for interior sevices. So now, the customer service representative OFFERS MORE services. This time, I'm offered carpet shampoo and seat shampoo for another total of $50 additional. I scrunched my face, indicating "Eh, No Thanks. " Then, the technician offers $5 off. Okay. I agreed. So, now I'm at a whopping total of $79 for interior car services. THEN, this customer service representative offers ANOTHER TREATMENT for my interior vinyl, stating it will give me "that premium detail look. " For how much more, you say? Another 30 Bucks! Eh, No thanks, I say. He walks me to the computer to add what I had agreed to, swipes my card, and asks me to sign the receipt. Upon looking at the receipt, a noticed something.... "But, you said you were giving me $5 off, " I said.... Ladies and gentlemen, this service technician says, "You had to remind me. It's too late now." I asked, "Well, can you give me a $5 coupon for next time? " He said, "No, we don't have any." Needless to say, the customer service is lacking.... The car wash was mediocre-- I actually had to ask them to go back and wipe the dirt off the rims (after they looked dead at the wheels when applying tire gloss). And honestly, the detail was average. I'm not even really sure it was worth the nearly $100 I paid for the wash and interior. Overall, Delta Sonic is fine for a quick rinse if you just need to get the dust off of your car. read more

This car wash is just convenient for me.. The prices were reasonable for monthly I'm paying over $50a month now.. however I had 3 brand new cars n they always seem to scratch them up.. I tried hand car washes but much too expensive $20 a week so I'm bk here again.. My front hood looks like someone took a huge eraser n went crazy.. This is the only wash I go to n it wasn't there earlier.. Silwirl marks n scratches through out the paint.. I did do a report there going to buff them out complimentary. . Not a bad wash, but you could end up leaving the place broke. I hate establishments that try to upsell you....like you don't know what kind of car wash you need. They have so many choices, you feel cheap getting the basic wash! Plus many of their upsell offers have time constraints that they don't always tell you about! I bought a 3 wash package for a nice discount only to see that I had 2 weeks to redeem my next 2 washes!!! Worst car wash ever. I have been going to this place for over 25 years and today perhaps it was the worst of a whole lot of bad experiences. This place employees people that simply don't give a fuck. They're lazy, they're rude, their disrespectful, and they don't know how to provide the service that was paid for. After sending my car through three times with a child who is begging for food I had to give up and leave. Now I have to go home and wash all the windows clean the car and start over. I would've rather had them throw a bucket of shit on the front seat, give me a refund, And gone and paid for the right service elsewhere. This place is a total joke. Horrible. Their most expensive $20 "touch free" wash: 1. Drive past 3 guys, each of whom sprays your car for 7 seconds with a hose 2. Machine pulls your vehicle through the tunnel where it is blasted with tons of soap, then dragged through 2 sets of floppy curtains - it is NOT touch-free 3. Go through dryer section - ok with that part 4. Guy flops a dirty, wet towel around on the hood for a second, and asks for a tip. This is the "hand wax" that raises the price. 5. I pulled off to the side, took out my own clean towel, and dried it off myself. After a couple minutes, a nice lady did come over and ask if they didn't do it well, and hurried to get it taken care of, but I was already done. At least it was nice that she tried to be helpful.. This would probably be an ok place for an older car to just get a quickie wash to remove salt. But I was disappointed- my 2019 vehicle looks dull, and the clean towel I used for drying came out quite dirty. read more

I took my H3 there to be cleaned inside and out. They did a terrible job. I have chrome rims and they didn't touch them. When I showed the bad wash job to the young lady see looked bewildered... Very unhappy for paying them$42.00 for nothing..after I get my 2 free washes, I will never go there again. They have to many YOUNG people working there and they take no pride in what they do. Update April 28th..Just left Delta Sonic Car Wash Glenwood to watch the alleged video proof that I had damage before I showed up. Calvin, the manager played the video and there was NO DAMAGE. There was a reflection from the sun that moved as the car moved forward. He still tried to convince me it's no way it happened there even though I heard it happen ,Kyle another manager said I could've driven on at a weird angle AND there was no video as they claimed . I paid 39.00 for a car wash for inside and out, the young man wave for me to get my car after waiting 90 minutes for a wash, so why did my car have bird dong on it, it was dusty and dirty, his towel was bone dry, the inside still had dirt on the seats, the only thing I could say was it was vacuumed!
