Boy was I ever wrong about CrossFit. Coach Rosie and Coach Jay have literally changed the way I look at my workouts. They're encouraging and thoughtful coaches. I've had multiple injuries including bad knees and they're able to modify exercises that we do in our daily workout, so that I can still work the same muscle groups without putting undue pressure on joints that can't handle it. First, clarity fitness is in a very good location, you can take the blvd east/ park ave bus and walk a few feet. Lots of parking on the street if you need to drive and right off the highway. Second, the classes and diverse. The instructor was so accommodating. I have taken lots of barre classes, even though each one is different, I found this to be the most difficult. I also loved that after a sweaty 60 minute class, they give you a semi frozen delicious smelling towel to cool off with!!!

They let him stay the first time but demanded that a parent came to register him since he's 16. After we signed authorization I wanted him to show me what equipment he had used that first day and planned to continue using. We didn't even make it to the equipment he wanted to show me. Front desk guy in charged had sent the young man who had helped us to say I couldn't be there because black membership only allows one guest. I explained that I was not a guest but a parent making sure my kid was in a safe clean environment and using appropriate equipment. Poor guy did not budge. It was obvious he was nervous and had been sent by the other guy who just used him to bee ridiculously unreasonable. Mind you I was not wearing sports clothes and was actually wearing slip on sandals. I should have gone back to the front desk to talk to the guy who I had already witness abuse his power with younger employees while signing in my kid. Management please make sure your younger staff is not bullied by some one with a Napoleon complex!

What i like about it specially now with covid is that they have cleaning stations everywhere with paper towels and spray that way you can clean the machines before and after using it. They have contactless check in and at check in they also take your temperature and ask you if you have had any covid symptoms. Overall this is a good gym for me as it has all the machines i use such as the stair master, trend mills, leg press and much more.
