One of the issues that I've encountered but never voiced was the presence of just one lat pulldown rack; it's like management read my mind and got a second one. The gym got the showers working, there's much more space, and they have maintained equipment pretty well. The water fountain broke, for example, and management fixed it in about a week. Very nice. The few issues still present aren't the management's fault IMO (namely, it getting insanely crowded in the evening; too crowded for how small the space is). I think this gym is worth checking out if you live in the area.

It will be difficult for you to enjoy everything the gym has to offer while you are standing outside, looking in at everyone else enjoying it. I'm on the elliptical, why are you looking at me? Are you trying to get in? Do you have the magic key fob? Good thing the gym has power sunshades - with the press of a button by the door your gaze is no more, reduced to a blob of a shadow that I can only presume will grow tired and move along. Sorry, friend. The gym is packed with just about everything you could ask for. There are TVs on multiple walls, plus individual ones on each piece of cardio, all with full cable. The yoga room has (yoga, yes) as well as fitness on demand and plenty of floor space for killer ab workouts. The pool, while not technically part of the gym, is amazing, warm, and good for laps (which is exercise, so i'll let it slide.) You get access all this without ever having to step foot outside. Truth be told, this is my late evening and weekend gym. I'm up and out in the early morning most weekdays to get to the Equinox in my office building, because you can't ever have too many eucalyptus soaked towels and steam room opportunities in your life.

I used to hate spending nearly 2 hours at the gym before, but these 55 minutes sessions in Strength Center are intense and you will always leaves with a sweat. They also offer a couple of 6 week challenges throughout the year where coaches guide you through eating habits and hold you accountable to work out. I have lost 14 lb in one of the 6 week challenges and would recommend it to anyone that wants to lose fat, get stronger, and/or learn to eat better. The Strength Center community is also great! Coaches set up groups to join 5k races, city challenges and Spartan Races. Great for anyone who are interested in these events but are nervous of going alone. Coaches will prepare you for these events and will help you feel ready that day.

Her corrections are subtle yet transformative, and she leads with both authority and empathy, creating an environment of confidence, safety, and growth. It is regrettable that Liz's talents are not more broadly acknowledged within the gym. Her classes do not receive the same visibility or promotion as many of the more mainstream group activities--and that is a disservice both to her as an instructor and to potential students who would immensely benefit from her expertise. This is especially poignant during the season of Diwali, a sacred time in September/October that honors light over darkness, spiritual renewal, and the triumph of knowledge and mindfulness. Liz's approach to Pilates--centered on balance, breath, focus, and inner strength--resonates powerfully with the spiritual symbolism of Diwali. In fact, her class would have been an ideal program to promote during this period, as it aligns so beautifully with the themes of illumination, inner harmony, and self-transformation. Liz is not just a capable instructor--she is an extraordinary asset to the Pilates community. The patrons are mixed and the great staff is the best in town. This includes dedicated owner Craig, managers Erin, Mayrin and Caesar, and Franklin, Vika, Emily, Carly, Igor and Ebai, to name a few.
