He knows when to push me to be better & stronger, & when to give my body some grace for rest & recovery. He is so passionate about his gym & takes such good care for every client. I could immediately tell that this was a Crossfit Gym that was based on community. They encourage each other to push past their comfort zones and celebrate them when they do and help you up when you fail. You will find a variety of people at this Box. From the Young 20 year old kids who want to compete in games to the 60 year old members who just want to lose a few pounds or maintain their current body. I myself struggled with my technique and diet in the beginning, fortunately for me the Coaches (Ryan, John and Keith) we on top of it. They worked with me on my skills while in class and even during Open Gym on Sundays. We set monthly goals that were attainable and I was encouraged each step of the way. I was deeply saddened when I had to leave due to work relocation. I know that I can stop by anytime and will be welcomed by everyone there. The box itself is a great space, and Coach Ryan and the community were so welcoming and supportive. If you're new to CrossFit, this box seems like a great place to get started. A friend of mine had talked to me about considering CrossFit, and I always laughed at her saying I'm not one of those girls that jumps over buildings and picks up small cars. Boy was I ever wrong about CrossFit. Coach Rosie and Coach Jay have literally changed the way I look at my workouts. They're encouraging and thoughtful coaches. I've had multiple injuries including bad knees and they're able to modify exercises that we do in our daily workout, so that I can still work the same muscle groups without putting undue pressure on joints that can't handle it.
