I specifically asked for something lighter than my eyebrows, natural-looking, and blended in so it wouldn't even look like they were "done." She clearly ignored everything I said. The lines are extremely dark, uneven, and far darker than my natural brows. The shading on the bottom is sloppy and laughable. Not only did she fail to listen to my concerns, but the result looks harsh, unnatural, and nothing like what I requested. $700 later, not only am I out that money, but now I'll have to spend over $2,000 to get them removed, as a true professional recommended, because there is no fixing this mess. (I posted her text.) What makes this worse is the provider's unprofessional response and complete lack of accountability. She showed no concern for the disastrous results, nor any willingness to find a solution. The lack of care, professionalism, and responsibility is unacceptable. All I wanted was for her to understand that the job was not up to anyone's standards like she claims, but all I got was short responses and, in the end, a thumbs up. If she can't see that the job was poor, then she shouldn't have a business at all. Way to go, Treya--you have outdone yourself!

My recent experience talking to the…read morewoman answering the phones not so much.... as I explain below: I really enjoyed coming to this salon and having Holly cut and style my hair in the past: Holly goes above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and I trust her with my hair. She does a perfect job with my cut and style. I always receive multiple compliments afterwards. I should mention I drive about 50 minutes from my home just to have her work with me. My complaint is last time I called to schedule an appointment with Holly the woman who answered the phone bad-mouthed Holly to me and tried to get me to schedule with someone else who had "more availability and more experience." I explained I only come to this particular salon to see Holly and I'd prefer to wait for her. She continued to complain about how Holly cut her hours back by 10 a week and seemed to stale when trying to find an opening for me with Holly... The woman whined "we have a stylist on hand everyday that has ten years plus experience I could easily book you with instead," which I refused again. Finally she 'found' some time for a cut with Holly but couldn't seem to find my name in the computer. She was obviously irritated with the entire situation which just made me feel totally uncomfortable with my interaction with her. I further explained I have been there multiple times and I wasn't sure why she couldn't find me in the system. After she finally found my name she said she couldn't find my name in the computer because it was misspelled and that "Holly always makes mistakes like this." She also felt the need to correct my multiple times visiting to "only twice," which Is multiple (in my own opinion). This woman answering the phones might want to reconsider airing out her dirty laundry to clients she doesn't know in hopes of not offending or scaring them off in the future. The woman on the phone was rude, belittling in her demeanor to myself and her staff and blatantly inappropriate. More professionalism should be incorporated when addressing clients via phone, especially ones who are loyal to a particular stylist. I wouldn't even bother coming back to Salon Viva after this interaction if it wasn't for my trust in Holly excellent technique and poise.
