So far I've had about 4 treatments at UIA and my skin looks so much better. The hair on my face would grow uncontrollably, and waxing, plucking or shaving would make things worse. Roxane was great and knowledgeable! I had my upper lip done and, unfortunately, it seemed that some of the darker hairs grew back immediately. I contacted her and she was nice enough to see me that day. She turned up the settings on the laser and redid a few spots at no charge. I've been coming here for Lazer treatments 8 months now and the difference is absolutely incredible. Before I came here I was plucking daily and shaving twice a day it was awful... It was torture.. Roxanne Roxanne!! I found Roxanne via YELP and have been going to her for over a year. I only see her every 3 months now and may not even really need that. I went consistently every 6 weeks for a year. I'm black with coarse hair and medium dark skin. Roxanne's lasers work perfectly fine on me. I don't have any issues of scarring. I've referred friends both lighter and darker than me and neither have had any issues. They've referred their friends as well. I think several ladies from my office go to Roxie too all extended referrals of mine. She's that good! Don't do what I did ladies (and gents) and wait until 40 to start laser. Once those gray hairs kick in it's a wrap. Let's just say my husband calls me Rampage (yes the Silverback). I get bikini, legs and underarms. I heard about Roxanne through my college roommate, and I feel like the luckiest person for having been sent to her! I have struggled a lot with ingrown hairs for the past year and my dermatologist told me that laser was the only way to put an end to the problem for good, but I didn't think it would be a possibility for me since its upwards of 5,000 for only a few sessions!!! Roxanne provides incredible results, as she is a Registered Nurse and she really knows what she is doing, and she is doing it at a fraction of the price that its offered elsewhere. I genuinely thought this was too good to be true, but I have had great results, no, amazing results in only 5 or 6 sessions (and that's coming from someone with persistent, thick hair growth).
