I had my 3rd and last of my package of 3 at the Woodland Hills location. The BEST service and location of laser away for sure! Briana performed the service and she was great. On time, lasted 30 mins, included red light therapy. My first 2 facials were at the Studio City location. Highly recommend avoiding that location. My first 2 sessions were 20-30 minutes late, lasted about 15 mins, and did not include the red light therapy and service was totally rushed. Wish I didn't waste my $ at studio city. Location. Extremely disappointed with clinic and customer service at the Calabasas location. My tech Mary Jane Helms was 40min late to my appointment. Oddly enough she began treatment without addressing her lateness. When asked about her timing she unapologetically laughed off my concern and said her previous client was chatty. I found this uncomforting. Considering that I had been inside a room set to cold temperatures and wrapped in nothing but a paper thin sheet with no one to update me let alone check in on me was plain disrespectful and unprofessional. When I called customer service they said they would reach out to me but getting in touch with one of their "directors" from then on was challenging and a headache. When I was eventually able to get a hold of one they were dismissive and rude. There were unusual times when my concerns and inquiry into a cancellation were met with silence. She would resume speaking as if she was using a script. She redirected me to PatientFi my loan provider to cancel my remaining sessions but never told me the prices of the treatments done that day with Mary would revert back to their original price, 70% more than I had originally agreed to. (I had locked in a discount during one of their "major sales". Btw they'll make it seem like it's rare but I was bombarded with spam email regarding this same sale and additional sales from then on.) This was a drastic jump and when addressed I was told it's policy and because I was no longer a patient they would not be mitigating the experience I had at Calabasas...??? As I look at the receipts that I requested I also see that they're charging me double for 1 treatment. They split what was originally 1 treatment of "full back" in the original receipt to 2 treatments of "lower back" and "upper back" in the modified receipt. I'm extremely put off with LaserAway's lack of ethics and professionalism. I hope shining a light on their duplicitous tactics and bottom tier service will steer away future prospects from getting scammed. Ultimately I'm left to pay a lot more for a lot less and a lot worse. Notice how there's no specific pricing for treatments on their website either! SHADY. This is how they're getting away with arbitrary price alterations. The price of the treatments I had done came out to more than what they would have cost in their original package pricing (as listed in my first receipt). If you want to be ethical be transparent and post specific standard prices on your site! I would strongly advise people to avoid this place! It's fraudulent and unprofessional. There are ongoing legal claims against LaserAway (2025) about deceptive sales practices, where customers say they were misled into buying extra treatments without clear consent. I had a very concerning experience with LaserAway that people should know about. The sales tactics are aggressive--they keep pushing you to sign up for more treatments, and it becomes really confusing what you're actually agreeing to. In August 2025, I had just lost my job and was focused on paying off existing balances, which is reflected in the ~$6,300 payment I made to Comenity that same month. I was trying to eliminate debt--not take on more. Around that time, I reached out to LaserAway asking for the lender information so I could pay everything off. During that interaction, something shifted. They started reviewing my account, saying I had "value" or "credits," and that they could "update" or "take care of it." I was sent something digitally, and if anything was signed, it was done quickly and under stress, without it being clearly explained that THIS WAS A NEW $5,155 FINANCING AGREEMENT FOR 6 TREATMENTS. My mindset was that I was closing things out--not signing up for more. However, I was signed up for 6 additional treatments without my clear understanding. Then in March 2026, I went back just to ask if I had any leftover credits--completely unaware there was a $5,155 balance. They told me I did and encouraged me to use them, which made everything seem normal. Then in April 2026, Comenity/Alphaeon started calling my dad (who has nothing to do with this account) saying I was overdue and adding late fees. That's when I realized what happened. The financing was done through Alphaeon/Comenity, and I was not clearly told I was opening a credit account or taking on a new balance. I only realized this 7-8 months later, and by then I was told it was too late to dispute. Another major concern is that neither LaserAway nor Alphaeon/Comenity have provided a signed contract showing I knowingly agreed to this $5,155 balance--only a receipt and generic confirmation, which does not prove informed consent. Also, this charge was processed through the Glendale location, even though I consistently go to Woodland Hills and Calabasas, and almost all my prior receipts are from those locations--not Glendale. In the past, I've also been told I was receiving complimentary facials or lotions, but was later charged without my knowledge. When I called it out, I was told the assistant involved was no longer there, which shows a pattern of unclear or unauthorized charges. It's extremely difficult to get help--calls go unanswered, and in person they refused a full refund. From my experience, you go in to manage your account, but instead get digital forms via text/email that lead to more charges without clear explanation, and by the time you realize it, they say it's too late to dispute. If this happens to you, read everything carefully and don't sign anything unless you fully understand it. So I originally came here for my tattoo removal and lip injections and ended up adding on the Clear + Brilliant laser facial package because of Memorial Day sales. I've been coming to this location since Aug 2020 when I used to live in Northridge. I moved further down south shortly afterwards but didn't want to change locations because of how friendly the staff is. Sasha and Lauren are honestly the only reason I really come in because they're so nice and accommodating, pls never leave this location! They've been so polite and welcoming since first coming and are the primary reason why I now drive and hour out Now, for the treatments. I was originally quoted 20 treatments for the laser tattoo removal but purchased half (10) instead. If you're not in a huge rush to get your tattoo removed, I would wait longer in between treatments and you'll notice the tattoo will fade just as much if you purchase more treatments and go every 6-8 weeks. I go twice a year compared to the recommended 6-8 weeks. My tattoo is almost completely gone now. For the lips, I stupidly got the hyaluronic pen done 3x before realizing it was a very bad decision (it is banned in the U.S. now). Just as a heads up, if you get the pen done, you have to wait a year before getting injections just to make sure as much of the previous filler is gone. They also will not dissolve anyone else's filler (which is good practice IMO). I waited a year and 6 months before getting my lips don't CORRECTLY this time. Imani did my lips the first time (I only got .33 injected out of the full syringe and opted to wait 2 weeks to get the rest done), laser tattoo removal AND the laser facial and she did an amazing job! She did text the doctors to make sure it was okay to inject and took a picture of my lips before. The procedure was almost painless. The only ~spicy~ parts were the borders of my lips which Imani warned me beforehand. Dakota did my lips the second time around (2 weeks after the first time) and was amazing. It was so quick and she was absolutely hilarious and made me feel SO comfortable the entire time. They're so plump and I'm happy I used the full syringe because my lips look uhhmmazzinggg! I definitely recommend Dakota or Imani for lips. For the facial, my skin is so bright and shiny omg I feel like it looks like a baby's bottom as well as feels like it! I already see sooo much improvement after 1 treatment so I can't wait to see how it looks after 6! Please be aware that your skin will be red afterwards but that quickly subsides the following day and make sure to wear your SPF! Also, moisturize moisturize moisturize! Such a disappointing experience! I waited years to get laser hair removal after having kids. All my family members had it done elsewhere with 0 issues. I was so excited and the first session was pretty painful, but I have a high pain tolerance. The issue is that I eat very clean and had perfectly clear skin until they ruined that for me. The instructions before coming were to shave yourself which I did my best, but missed hair on my back. The girl shaved my back for me I can only assume used a dirty razor because the next day was itchy bumps all over my back. Nowhere else did I get bumps, only where she shaved. Months later and my back still looks and feels horrible. I came in to look better and left feeling worse. My only request was to at least give me a refund, which still would not fix my back and they of course refused. They are shameless and deserve negative stars. Miscommunication dealing with this company from day 1 and I have been going here for the past 3 years. They tell you whatever you want to sell a package to you. Managers never make the representatives accountable for the misinformation. Tons of appointments made that when I showed up were never put into the system and my time was wasted. I have even had nurses give me misinformation and when I asked them to double check they admitted they were wrong as well. Really kinda scary if you think about the amount of wrong information given. Had coolsculpting to remove 5 stubborn pounds in my stomach that I just couldn't get rid of through exercise. Had 3 coolsculpting treatments. Within six months, I was badly disfigured, as it had the complete opposite effect and added 10 more pounds to my stomach in the shape of the paddles used. Laseraway took zero responsibility and said I should have known coolsculpting could have the opposite effect. Instead they then tried to sell me 10 more treatments to see if it would go away! They refused to refund my money and made it clear that they could care less that I was completely disfigured because of what they had done. Every day I am so sorry that I went there. Can I just start off by saying Emilyann and Bottara are the sweetest things ever!! So I've been going to LaserAway for microneedling and it's been so so painful for me. I cry everytime but when I tell you that Emilyann actually sat there and helped me with the numbing process and actually cared to hear about what I do and how I prep for it she made sure the numbing cream settled in and had me go wash my face afterwards. Others didn't tell me to go wash my face and the cream would be all up in my hair and I would leave with it looking nasty. Throughout the procedure she was genuinely having a convo with me the whole time and we talked and she helped me keep my mind off it. Before we knew it we were done and both were so shocked at how fast the procedure went by. So Emilyann if you see this. Thank you! You made it an easy experience this time around!! I received aThermage FLX treatment.. which most doctors say you only need one of to see great results.. I got nothing no results, just excruciating pain during the treatment. After three months when I told them there was no difference they said well maybe you need a micro needling radio frequency treatment. Like instead of trying to make me feel better about working with them after $2000 they tried to sell me something else which I think even cost more. I went to Dr Laser and got a Therapy recently. Terrible experience with laser away! I had 2 tattoos which were each 2cm and upon looking at both tattoos the nurse working here said I would only need 6 sessions for the one on my hand and 10 sessions on my hip. Surprisingly neither one was removed after 10 sessions each so I purchased another 3 sessions for both! It's been 3 years I've been working with them and their promises were a bunch of lies! The one on my hip is still as fresh as if I just got tattooed yesterday! They even scarred the one on my hand. Now I've been trying to contact the higher ups and they keep dodging my calls and promising a call back with no results. I've had issues with the scheduling here but Stheisy the manager was very nice about it and made it right. She made sure it didn't happen again and I was able to see the right person. She also listened and understood what was going on. I still think they need to work on their scheduling but the people here besides 1 or 2 are generally friendly. I rarely see the front desk person I talked about before and that was actually the only interaction I had with her. I love coming to this location. I'm a newbie with laser hair removal and I decided to go for it and get a package for underarm laser. Yesterday was my third appointment and I can see such a difference! All the team members from the front desk to the nurses are all wonderful and knowledgeable.
