I've only eaten lunch there, so it may be different in the evening. If you calibrate your expectations towards a beautiful place to sit and talk and eat bar food style fare, then you'll get that for which you went. I'd go more for the atmosphere than the food right now. They seem to be focused on catering events, for which they are wonderfully suited. They also appear to be just nursing the restaurant along, using the super friendly and engaged service staff for the double duty of cooking and serving and playing it safe until the economy supports more investment in their restaurant.
