I came in the office ON THE 18TH of October 2024, and they asked me what was I there for and I told them that I was there to be fitted for a new brace for my knee. One of the receptionist in the front told me to have a seat and I did, I wasn't even sitting there for 5 minutes until they started talking about me like I wasn't even there!! All the receptionists in the front reception area was very rude and obnoxious. One of the receptionist's was on a personal call on the work phone. Another one of the receptionist's told the person that was on the phone that you're the only one that knows how to do a brace and she told her that I'm on the phone talking. So that tells me right then and there that she ain't got time to see me to put the brace on my leg to see if it fit. Than the other receptionist's just start yapping her mouth saying why didn't her boyfriend bring her in yesterday and I said, first of all if y'all was listening to my boyfriend, he told y'all that the reason why I didn't come in is because I have lupus and I have really bad flare-ups and I was in the bed in allot of pain. That's what he told them and he told them that he will bring me in tomorrow if I was feeling better. He did so as I was sitting there while they started talking about me like I wasn't even there saying little things like well she came in too late she should have came in this morning to get the brace fitted we're about to close and I'm not doing anything, and I told them first of all I got here like 20 minutes after 4 and y'all don't close until 5:00. It doesn't take that long to fit a brace on someone's leg to see if it fit, It ain't like I'm seeing the doctor because I wasn't so that shouldn't be the issue. They started talking about me and I spoke and said Hey, don't y'all see me sitting here and y'all are talking about me like I'm not even here!! They got quiet because they weren't expecting me to say anything so I let him have it. I told them that they are very rude and I will be reporting them. The one on the phone while on a personal call could have gotten off the phone and took care of my fitting of the brace than went back to doing what she was doing but she didn't. She kept on and the other ones started making comments about me but I am going to report them so I'm giving them a bad review because their attitudes stink!!! really bad!!!

We checked in with about 10 other people. Their process was streamlined and efficient. We were in a room in 1/2 hour. All personal were great but a special shout out to Dr. Smith. I have never seen a doctor with such wonderful manners and concern and compassion. He was funny and had my mom at ease immediately. We both loved him. He walked us to the exit door. I went in for a sore throat and I wasn't even tested. The doctor looked at my throat and said "it looks like strep" and sent me home with antibiotics. After days of using antibiotics it didn't help so I saw someone else and they are making me get a covid test and said it's probably covid or mono. Never coming back here and never recommending it.

While waiting the medical assistant comes to the front talking about a child in the back that has a fever of 102.3 asking the other receptionist could they give the child some Motrin or something. Saying she is not going back around the sick child because she is not getting sick. It was so horrible hearing and seeing them act that way in front of those waiting in the lobby. This is not a very quality place to find care. There is another one in berea and if all else fails do as I did leave and go to Richmond. Stay away from here if possible.
