I go to this Ulta often. I recently started to get my eyebrows done here and Taylor does great work. I also love how attentive the staff is. However, I am only giving 3 stars because over the holidays a manager really rubbed me the wrong way. I've heard that Ulta checks the bags of their staff when they come in and before they leave. However if this has to be done, it should be done away from the public. I witnessed a manager checking an employee's bag right near the front of the store. She was also questioning why she was carrying her passport instead of ID. The manager was being very nosey and not very nice. Then once she finished checking the employee's bag she walked over to the pick up area and asked if I needed help. I told her yes and she asked if I went to the back of the table to look through the bags for pickup because I had a bag in my hand. I told her no I made a purchase and now I'm here for a pickup. She started laughing, but it was not funny and I felt offended. I haven't seen this manager since that one day but if she's still there I would never let her help me. read more

I purchase from there and very rude lady! named Daniella rolled her eyes at me and didn't even help me when I had asked for help I didn't not like the service & she also spilled setting powder on me and just while picking it up she said oops and push me and got up and walked away. read more

In store is absolutely amazing, but use caution if ordering online. Ulta.com had some issues this morning so my order wasn't processed. The items remained in my basket and there were no active orders. So I tried a second with the same outcome. I had to get some work done so went back several hours ago to find there was nothing showing for orders and at that time nothing was deducted from my account or pending. Finally the order went through! Unfortunately a few mins after I placed the order 3 pending charges showed up on my bank account! The total for each order is $82, so this is $164 I didn't plan to have taken out of my account. Granted it's only pending, but that means I'm unable to access those funds and I desperately need gas in my car! So the order is ready but my car lacks the gas to get there and I'm unable to fill the tank. Customer service is useless. The man I spoke with not only had a very heavy accent, but he spoke 1k miles per hour and sounded like his hand was over the microphone. What I gathered from him, after he told me some story about being charged 5x for something, somewhere, at sometime (not helpful!), is that it can take up to 14 days for the charges to be reversed. On top of it all my bank is now showing 2 $35overdraft fees. I had just enough to cover the order, put $20 in my gas tank and $18 for shipping. These fees better not stay in place or Ulta will owe me $70 to cover the bank fees! At least payday is tomorrow so I will be able to put gas in my car to pick up an order I needed today so I could ship it out today in order for it to arrive on time for a bday. I'm so frustrated! ULTA GET IT TOGETHER!!! Again, my store is great! Love the people there and they have the best hairdresser that I'd follow if she went somewhere else, even if I had to pay more for a hair cut every 6 months! Shes absolutely the best! read more

My review is of the salon services. Had peek a boo blue streaks put in my hair. They literally lasted 5 days before the color started fading. It was completely gone with zero trace it was ever there within 30 days. My hair is not color treated, I waited 3 days to wash it and I don't use heat or product on my hair ever. When I called I was told they had switched brands and had similar complaints but refused to redo it at a discounted price. When I told them I was told it would last at least 3 months and slowly fade and I felt they should rectify the situation they said they would give me a $10 discount. Also around the same time I had a facial because I noticed my current skin care routine wasn't cutting it. I could not believe that they just have the treatment area in a little corner not it's own room or very least a big enough space for it to feel comfortable to disrobe. The treatment was rushed because she spent about 10 minutes trying to get the steamer to work properly and asked if I would be okay not using it. I also told her I had money to spend on an entirely new regimen for skin care and make up. Not that I'm above drug store brands but I am a purest and don't like mixing skin care and makeup brands. I kept getting steered towards multiple "cheap" brands. I just gave up. read more

But there are some consistent customer service issues. 1)) staff behind the counter on their cell phones and then when you ask them gif assistance they don't appear knowledgeable. 2). Signs that say you will get a free gift with purchase or buy one get one at a discount and then to find out different at the register. If you don't have it, don't post a sign advertising it. read more

Drive all the way here to get a specific product that I verified was available in store. I arrive and the product is not necessarily damaged but it was missing the comb. Either way I offered too buy it anyway cause again we drove all the way there for this product. The manage comes up and says NO I can't sell this it's damaged we have to send it back. Okay I get it but understand my needs, and they didn't. Sad. I'll never do biz here again never !!!!!! And I will tell the whole community how poor you really are. I was honestly not going to write this review but the way that this place does business makes me sick. I have spent hours inside ultra and I have spent hundreds of dollars this year and not one time have I been helped find something from an employee. Don't spend your hard earned money here just buy it online don't spend your time being somewhere where you are not wanted. I bought 2 items at the Ulta Beauty store in Greeley, Colorado. One was $5.99 and the other $18.99. I had a 20% off one item coupon. The girl who checked me out told me the 20% was ALWAYS given on the lowest priced item. She said that's how all retail stores redeem their coupons. I have never found that to be true. Every retail store I have ever shopped in has always honored the coupon to be applied to the highest priced item. I won't be going back to Ulta!!!!! Julie D read more

The Ulta in Greeley, CO is the absolute worst Ulta I have ever been to. I come here quite often because it is the nearest makeup store to me. It is such a disappointment because they are always out of products. The past 2 times I've gone they were out of exactly what I was looking for. Even when they do have things in stock it is so low. They also have very few things to sample in the spots that are made for the products to be sampled. They are either missing or destroyed and dirty. Ulta as a company is great because I have gone to many in different states but this one is the worst I've been to. The workers are nice and helpful but I rarely ever walk out with anything because they're always out of stock:( read more

They have a huge selection of beatify a lot of different brands to choose from. They have a hair studio and make up artists to help you with an everyday look to a night on the town. My one problem is a lot of times I have been they only have one cashier so the line to check out is very long. But they have lots of deals and clearance buckets to chose from! I have shopped here a A few times over the past couple months and have never had a great experience. The people working there don't really seem to know what they're doing, and when I asked for a certain foundation they gave me literally the opposite of what I asked for. I went and just now, and walked around for probably 15 to 20 minutes and nobody would asked me if I needed any help. Wow. I am so impressed. I've been looking for someone new to do my hair. I went in to Ulta last week to just find out about getting a full highlight, and start going lighter before my wedding. Lora was at the counter. She was amazing and helpful. I went in about a week later, last night, and she did incredible!! I am in love with how my hair looks and completely satisfied. I love ulta, all makeup in general! This store is very clean and neat. I come in about 4 times a month and my only compliant is with the customer service well shopping around. I love getting the second opinion on foundation and having someone color match me. Unfortunately the staff is either too busy chatting with each other or out of site. The gal who helped us color match our make-up was so nice and made the experience of buying make-up easy and enjoyable! The two cashiers that we had that day on the other hand quickly diminished those feelings with how rude they were, at the time I did not want to bring it up to any of the workers but now that I think about it, I wish I would have mentioned it to either them or their manager with how rude they were. My mom simply asked a question that could have been answered without attitude and without the rudeness that the those two girls had given that day. I was not impressed and I wish I could have gotten their names before we left, unfortunately I did not but in no way should any customer leave the store like my mom and I did feeling like we were dumb for asking a simple question. This was my first time at an Ulta store. I was super excited to find a product that I have been researching for. I finally go in and took a while finding the product. I was walking all over the store and not one associate bothered to help me find what I was looking for. Usually when you enter a store an associate will greet you and ask you if you need help. Not at this store. After a found the product I went to the counter where the associates where (all the time while the store was empty) and she checked me out and asked if I was part of the preferred customer program (or what ever it is called to send you deals). I told her no that I wasn't and that it was my first time there. She did not bother to explain what it was or if I was interested. I usually don't write bad reviews but I felt I had to on this one.
