I came to this Ulta last week for a hair appointment (basic trim) with Jori Lea. She was very impressionable and did an amazing job at giving exactly what I needed to give my hair Summer refresh. The only thing that I have to say is there is not check-in booth for the Beauty Salon at Ulta therefore it can get a little confusing waiting to check-in with an Ulta employee. Also, this goes for Ulta across the board I was very saddened to learn they no longer carry Catrice products because I would use that brand it was tried and true at an affordable price. I have been going to Allie every 8-10 weeks at the Arrowhead Ulta salon for over a year now. She is absolutely amazing especially at color. We have been going slowly back to blonde from Auburn. Every time she does my hair, whether it's a cut or color, it is EXACTLY what I wanted but better! Allie is so sweet and fun to talk to. I highly recommend her if you want a stylist who can do it all- highlights, balayage, root blend, grey coverage, haircut and still keeps your hair feeling soft and healthy. I visited store #47 on Bell in Peoria, AZ on 6/13. Anyssa at the register deserves a shout out for amazing guest services. The vendor never showed up, but one of the employees walked me through the whole collection and gave me an in depth tour of everything. Booked a 4:30 appointment and showed up on time at 4:25 like a responsible adult. Brianna was still mid-haircut with another client and casually mentioned she was "running behind" with zero apology. just vibes. I asked how long the wait would be and she said 10-15 minutes. Cute. I spent that time browsing, testing products, contemplating my life choices... and somehow 10 minutes turned into 30 with no updates whatsoever. When I finally went back to check, she had just started blow-drying the client's hair, so realistically I was looking at another 30-45 minutes minimum. At that point I wasn't waiting for a haircut anymore, I was waiting for character development. I totally get that things happen, but the lack of communication or basic acknowledgment was wild. Not a single "sorry," no sense of urgency, just me slowly aging in the aisles of Ulta. Needless to say, I won't be back. Brianna, you lost a very patient customer... and a great tipper. Tragic. She was super sweet and knew that I was a little nervous about getting my hair done again after a couple bad experiences and made sure I knew exactly what was going on, recommended a specific way for my hair to be to get to the color that I wanted, etc. my hair has not felt this lightweight and healthy and a very long time and I highly recommend her to anyone looking to get their hair cut or colored! read more

This review is for Ulta Beauty at 92nd Avenue and Northern Peoria Crossing Peoria AZ. This was my first visit to this Ulta location. The store was clean and decorated beautifully Upon entering the store all the employees were very friendly and welcoming I was at the Ulta to return some packages that I had ordered online. I was very sick that day and not able to stand at the counter for a long period of time to have the packages scanned and processed for return/refunds. I was greeted by Stacy. Stacy was courteous polite professional and went above and beyond to help me. I told her I could not stand long at the counter and was ill. She allowed me to go to the other side of of the counter and sit on the benches while she walked to that side and scanned and processed all my 9 packages. Stacy was amazing. So helpful kind and caring. I was so appreciative of all her help. It was not just great customer service but genuine caring. I've never had this issue before, since they usually just put the money back into the card with no issue and there's no need for me to carry the physical. Ran in super quick to take advantage of the extra bonus points for making a purchase today. It was just after 6:30 (thanks to my massage ending 30 mins earlier than it should have) & the store was fairly empty. They still have the stickers/arrows on the floor in an attempt to direct traffic. I don't know how effective that really is since I have yet to see that be successful anywhere. I purchased what I needed but had to repeat my phone number several times before the cashier finally got it right & into the system. Everyone had masks on. But my biggest issue is, this is a small store. There is literally no reason, especially at 6:30 on a Sunday for employees or customers to be standing in the main aisle blocking the walking path. Move into a side aisle to continue your conversation. People were wearing masks. Hand sanitizer was available. Social distancing did not appear to being observed. Whatever, got in, got out. But I would NOT want to be in the store during other business hours. I can't even imagine how crowded it gets. read more

This store and management team needs training on human kindness. Their customer service is AWFUL. My $40 card showed a $0 balance, despite never being used. After waiting for over 30 minutes in the store on hold with customer service, they found an "accounting error" on their end and said to wait 48 hours for a new gift card to be processed. I left the store and nearly 6 weeks later, several phone calls, another visit to the store, I still have yet to receive a new gift card. Sherri and Jillian, both managers, said there was nothing they could do and they were too "busy" to help resolve the issue. They made me feel like a very worthless customer and human being.
