I hate to be the person to leave bad a review, but I truly feel people need to be warned. I'll start by saying the ladies in the salon were very kind and I was given a refund! But my hair was absolutely butchered in this salon and people need a fair warning. Mariah was my stylist. Again, she was nice, but the manager Kyra had to hold her hand through the entire process. I'm assuming she's new in the industry. Anyways, I came into the salon for a simple balayage refresh. It was suggested that I lighten more of my hair to achieve my desired look. I did say I didn't want to go to my roots, but I ended up following the managers advice and let them lighten then tone more. This picture is what I was left with, even after a second attempt to fix the color. I was left with several different colors in my hair, a lot of it was orange, all of it was choppy and clunky. A ton of mismatched spots. Completely different colors from top to bottom. Like I said, thankfully I was given a refund. But in full transparency to anyone out there, PLEASE go elsewhere to get anything done to your hair- unless it is a different trusted stylist. I had to go to a different salon to fix the mess (Shoutout to Jessica at the Rage Salon. She fixed my hair and was a total lifesaver) but because my hair was bleached and processed so much at Ulta, I can't lighten it for a while. So now I'm set back on my hair plans, which kinda sucks. After my first review I was contacted by Ulta and the process to refund the second haircut was completed with apologies for being charged in the first place. Their response let me know they do care about their customers. I feel much better about dealing with this store although I will not be using the services of Dawn again. read more

Had my lashes done today . The girl said the glue would dry clear (it did not ) it looks like my eye is infected . The lashes are way to high up and nog on my lash line . I also one of the benefits strip lashes and she made me get something else because they did not have the benefit strip lashes in the store which cost me another $12 . read more

This Ulta is probably one of the worst I've ever been to. Associated standing around talking about what they did the night before. The stock is a Huge use. The store it's elf is in disarray. Probably won't be going in here again. The store is under poor management. Hopefully someone makes some changes soon. read more

Never did i think I would be going to ulta for my hair coloring... BOY WAS I WRONG. I came across Heather in the salon back in February for a routine blow out for an event I was going to and she knocked it out of the park, making me feel like a million bucks! She quickly won me over and I went back a few weeks later to have my hair colored and might I say transformed. Heather took me from a medium warm brown to full on blonde in two sessions! And the best part is that I still have all of my hair, no damage! Heather will always be my go to and someone I recommend to everyone! read more

Trying to make an appointment all day. The phones just ring endlessly. Then it takes you back to the original recording to hit the number to transfer you to where you want to make your appointment. I took it as a sign that it wasn't meant to be, to get my brows done there. I did try over and over again b/c I am never good at taking hints the first couple of times and thought they might just be busy at that moment. Nope. The gay men in there are great! The females are snobby even tho they wear shower slippers to work. If you look different they follow you around but don't ask you if you need help. I wanted to like Ulta.. but after repeated bad experiences both in this store and online, I've given up. Sephora and Beauty Brands will get my business. While they have large selection, don't expect any customer service. No signage for sales that are advertised online. The associates are more concerned with being friendly to each other than helping customers.. with the exception of the guy that works there. Online, you won't be able to easily use your gift cards.. I had trouble with the website processing two gift cards.. I received an email from customer service over a month after the fact, and their recommendation was that I shop in store. Really?!? Ugh..yeah, I recommend Sally's, Sephora, or Beauty Brands... especially Beauty Brands bc they are VERY friendly! read more

This is worst Ulta ever experienced. Gone in multiple times: Very indifferent customer service although they always have plenty of staff, they treat you as if you aren't even visible. Sales products are ALWAYS empty spaces (they don't order ample inventory ever). I have totally give up on Ulta Tyler. Purposefully wanted a manager or someone on that same level. Had a trip upcoming, Waited for my trip tp be over and scheduled 3 weeks out just to get that level. Drove an hour just to discuss the appt at first. When I had arrived for my actual appt, I was given to a different stylist. No phone call to ask my permission and this stylist was not at that level. I was told by the mngr. that this one had never had anyone come back. Reluctantly, I agreed. The stylist didn't listen to my requests. Did it her way and when I brought it up after seeing and spending the whole time with color, told me she liked it like that and thought it looked good. So, she told me I could come back and have the manager fix it later. I had her go ahead and fix it but it took extra time and frustration. Now, she still didn't have to have me come back. I've enjoyed Ulta quite a few other places. Not pleased that the mngr gave my appt to someone else when I was seriously trying to get the right stylist. Probably not one I would want to try again.
