Got my pictures taken for my graduation... I ordered the basic blemish fix(?) and stray hair removable. Omg... I looked so photoshopped! I was laughing so hard. Who fixed the photos? High schoolers? It was horrible. It's very expensive for the Triumph package.... (2 8x10, 4 5x7, 16 wallet) $244 (plus shipping) The sales associate was very rude too...the photographer was friendly. :( I should just have gone to the mall or something and have my photos taken there... Beware!!! update: Got an apology email... Still not satisfied ... And asked me to remove the one star! What? He reprinted only the proofs on a regular paper. Very tiny. I'm not sure if they're still in transit. Shady. The photos In the website are pretty good with the lomo effect. But mine was plain and boring. read more

They charge $12 or $18 dollars for a sitting fee that is non-refundable. Please make sure you study them up before you sign on for a graduation picture appointment. They charge much more for the pictures. Cont. However, they contacted me after reading this post and reimbursed my sitting fee. They also gave me a $15 dollar credit towards my grad pics. I found it fair especially after having a bad experience over the phone with their customer service. I am assuming that they are working harder on their customer and aim to improve their overall business. For this I have to give them a better rating. I had been communicating with Chris for months regarding my sorority's composite shoot. Not only did he reply promptly but he always provided me with plenty of information. On the day of the shoot, Devin showed up. He was an amazing photographer and was patient when it came to retaking pictures. There was confusion regarding what the package included, and at first the customer service provider led me to believe that I had not received what I thought I had. My son had his photos taken and it was just a terrible experience for him. He is usually fine with having his picture taken but for some reason the photographers and company's abruptness really bothered him. The photographers just rotate through the children so quickly and without any care to the final product. I understand that there are a lot of children that need to be photographed for the team, but the level of photographic compentancy is just not there...and definitely not a memory making moment for my son or my family. For the insane price they charge I really expected a lot more individual attention and photographer ability. The owner of this company really needs to reassess the prices and their staff choices. read more

My daughter's high school used UE for their "contactless diploma pick-up" photos this year. The single shots turned out well - considering this was not a real graduation - and I paid to download those photos immediately. Days later, in the early evening, we got a notification that the Class of 2020's pano was available to purchase. As soon as I saw the email I went to look at the pano that had been assembled from green screen photos. It was very small and watermarked and I could not find my daughter in it among the 100 kids -- I screenshot and blew it up. Still no. Neither my daughter or her dad or our friends could find her in the shot. I emailed UE that night, nicely saying it appeared that our daughter was missing and that there was another girl in it twice -- two shots of her, one smiling, one not, next to herself. Truly, to me, this was a mistake that could be easily rectified by 1) taking down the pano 2) fixing it 3) notifying those who had ordered it that it was wrong and letting the class know a mistake had been made which would be fixed. I did not hear back from them regarding my email the next morning so I called and spoke to Brittany, who, at first, told me I couldn't possibly be right my daughter wasn't there, then backed off a little bit when I pointed out the other girl was in it twice. She told me she doubted she would be able to fix this for those who had already ordered and would not be able to notify the parents who had already ordered it. That made no sense to me - why wouldn't that be possible when I alerted them in the evening only a couple of hours after it went out. She said she would check with their technical people and get back to me shortly. When I didn't hear back from her I called again and spoke to someone else who told me Brittany had already left for the day. I expressed my upset that my daughter was left out of the photo - she said that it would be fixed and no one who ordered it would get the wrong photo. She eventually sent me a clipping proving my daughter would now be included. She refused to alert any of those who had ordered it to the mistake because they wouldn't be getting the wrong one. They also reassured my friend who had ordered the photo before I alerted her it was wrong that she would be getting the right one. So -- she received the wrong Pano. At this point I went back to UE and also to the school. This was June 5th - the blase, you have no reason to be upset attitude continued though they assured us that the right pano would be received by all those who ordered it (they also told the school they had alerted those who received the wrong one they had been told they were getting the corrected one - my friend had not been alerted). They promised the school the right one would be in the hands of those who had ordered it within a week - which is not what they told me. And here we are, over 10 days later, and my friend did not receive the pano, only duplicates of 5 by 7s she had already ordered. I'm extremely disappointed at UE's inability to rectify their mistake in a timely and appropriate manner with polite customer service. I spent hours on this I didn't need to spend and it's still not finished. I don't think it's too much of an ask for my daughter to be included in the pano of her graduating class, especially, considering that in a time of a pandemic, they are not allowed to gather together. Extremely disappointed with the service. I had gotten my graduation pictures done with them because they were at CSULA. Sittting fee + actual photo... Super expensive... but whatever... I'm thinking graduation only happens once in a lifetime. As soon as I get there, I sign in and wait to get seen. The photographer doesnt even introduce himself and tells me to take a board with my name on it and sit on a chair. Okay.... I patiently wait and eventually, its my turn. Photographer doesnt even wait for me to get fully seated and takes a mug shot. Whatever, thats not going to be a picture they're probably going to use anyways but couldnt he have waited?? I mean there was no one after me... whats the rush. He takes a couple of pictures... and he's in a rush for some reason. I take a couple of different poses and then he tells me to put on the cap and gown. I do as he instructors. As I am pulling on the gown, he repeated tells me to zip it up. HELLO!!! GIVE ME SOME TIME!! I'm trying to put on the gown without getting my hair messed up!!!!! DONT RUSH ME! I finally finish putting on the gown. He places the cap on my head and doesnt give me time to adjust. My hair is literally flying everwhere, my gown isnt falling on my body correctly and the cap they provided is semi-wrinkled. The photographer takes his shots... doesnt even ask if there are certain shots that I wanted. He immediately tells me he's finished. I told him I want to do one like this.... He rolls his eyes at me and angrily sticks the memory card back into camera. I pose for the pic and felt so pressured to quickly get into place.. mind you .. there is still NO ONE after me... Before I can even adjust or ask to look in a mirror, he takes the picture and quickly places the memory card to the next staff member. Im sitting at a computer for a good 10 minutes before the staff member comes to show me my pics. (She was sitting in a chair doing nothing for a good 5 minutes, with my memory card just sitting on the desk). At this point I was really getting frustrated. The photographer noticed and come over and started going over the pricing for the picture packages.. UMMM HELLO!!! YOU DIDNT EVEN SHOW ME MY PICTURES YET!!!!! Finally things get rolling. I view my pictures and am utterly disappointed with them. I let the staff member know. She defers me to the photographer. I tell him, my gown was not all the way zipped up, the collar was unleveled, my diploma was not leveled, the angle of my shoulders were off, there are large creases in the sleeves of the gown... etc etc. The photographer angrily replies that thats just the way the gown is supposed to look.... Okay.. WHO THE HECK ARE YOU TRYING TO FOOL??!? YOU HAVE SAMPLES UP RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME HANGING.. AND THEY DONT LOOK LIKE THIS!!! These people dont care about your special moment. They do the bare minimum; they are rude! SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE.... THEY DONT DESERVE YOUR MONEY, TIME OR GRATITUDE. read more

I contacted customer service and told them to cancel the order and not to charge my card. But they charged me [fraudulently] anyway. Team pictures and individual photos were taken. Pictures were fine, but the pricing was ridiculous. What really irked me was their $5.00 late fee if you didn't order a package by the deadline. Then they don't stop emailing you with "deals" which is basically a coupon for $5.00 off (so you aren't getting a "deal" if you order after the deadline. I don't like being ripped off. We're taking our own team photos with my camera next time. I didn't order anything after seeing the late fee added on. No way. read more

Did the shoot for my doctoral graduation. After scrolling through the entire 10 pages of "my proofs" I found there were only 3 pictures with me in them, including the group photo. Furthermore, they shot the diploma/handshake photos from 3-4 steps below looking up... Now I'm not a professional photographer, but I am one of the skinniest guys I know and when a picture makes it look like I have a double chin, well, something has gone horribly wrong. The sets are way over priced, there doesn't appear to be any option to select 1-2 photos only and the digital copies are outrageous. Also, don't know if this holds true for the other ordering sections, but under the graduation one if you look closely at the green screen correction before and after photo you'll notice that they photoshopped the background over the girl's lei, making it look like she's wearing the background around her neck. Really? That's the "finished" product you want to show people? Man, if that's their "best" work I'd hate to have paid for any of the standard fair. Piece of advice: Stay far, far away. If you're the person responsible for finding a photographer for some event, please do everyone there a favor and find someone else. read more

All graduating students had their photos taken with Ultimate Exposures at the Graduation Commencement. They could have waited and initiated a countdown for a more pleasing shot. Instead, they took awkward, candid shots taken by an unprofessional photographer who wanted to get through every student as fast as possible. Ultimate Exposures did my kids school photos. I requested retakes on the scheduled day and they were not done. Sure the rep. apologized and was polite, however when I asked if they could at least edit the original to adjust my daughters stray hairs they said they could for a $15 fee! It's not my fault the retakes were not done and I thought in the name of good customer service they could at least edit the first bad pic for free since I was only asking for a very minor adjustment. Well, since I can not order the photos for one child I also did not order for the other. I just had to order the group class photos and no individuals. I also run my own business and in their place I would have fulfilled this small request in order to satisfy my customer (and yes to have had the customer place a larger order as well). read more

So I've had a few problems with them. First order they forgot a picture and a second order they picture was cropped out while my son was holding the "peace" sign up. Each time I've had to contact them (I used email) they resolved the issue at their expense. It sucks having had issues, but they are always fast and efficient! This company is terrible for school photos. They delay the class photo for nearly 4 months after individual photos are sent, then charge for shipping for just the class photo. What a scam. Nice job squeezing money out of parents of public school kids who have no other choice. read more

I just received my son's graduation announcements. The pictures are beautiful, but they sent them in an envelope, so some of the edges are damaged. Ultimate Exposures pictures are way overpriced. Customer service is good, when they answer the phone. On my son's outdoor senior pictures, the light is glaring on my son's head and face. I would think the photographer would know to set up somewhere else, or use another angle. I am very disappointed, especially when the price is factored in. Just had team pictures done and they were running behind which is fine and understandable. What is not ok is seeing an employee yell at little kids and push her way through them sticking her elbows out. Adult temper tantrum much? EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE!!!! Also puts their company logo on images - LAME!! Pretty messed up considering it will be our kids photo and why on earth would we want their company logo on it? A company with a heart! They were taking pictures for our little league. I have identical twin boys. My one twin is on the team but his brother has a physical disability and is in a wheelchair but helps out at practices and loves feeling like a part of the team. I asked if I could pay to have his picture taken as well so he didn't feel left out. They took my information and were very sweet about letting him join in. A few days later when they contacted me to make sure which picture package I wanted I offered to pay and they would not let me. The customer service representative and I exchanged emails and she was very sweet and told me that it made her day to know how happy she made my son! UE photographed my daughters graduation in June. When it came time to look at her picture on line it wasn't there. I called the company immediately, in tears, so worried that I would not have her graduation picture. Valerie assured me she would get on it and have an answer for me. Sadly, my daughter's eyes were closed in the picture. However, Stephanie was able to photoshop my daughters face from another picture that evening onto her graduation picture! Truly amazing! As a school employee and parent my children have been photographed by UE in both youth sports and in our elementary school. Needless to say our school and youth sports league have dropped UE as a vendor due to their outrageous prices and poor customer service. I urge people to use another vendor like White Studios, Life Touch, or School Portraits by Rick. Where they are more affordable, sales associates are friendlier, and costumer service is excellent. Now I can see why most reviews are poor on here. I urge you to use somebody else. read more

This is the worse customer service ever! Unfortunately there is little a person can do about it and this company knows it. This company took pictures for my daughter's college graduation. We picked out 2 poses and I called their customer service to see how to order using 2 different poses. Though it was during business hours I was told to leave a message and they would get back to me. The next day I still had not heard from them so I tried it myself to place the order on line. Unfortunately, one set ended up Black and White which is not what I wanted. I immediately called and again was told to leave a message. I then used their email and told them what happened. 2 days later I received an email back saying the order was fine. I emailed them back and told them it wasn't and was trying to change it. They emailed back saying they can't do anything but I could reorder and pay 50% of the cost. They called me today in response to my email and they repeated the same thing over and over, 50% off of reorder. They couldn't do anything about the original order even if I had been able to reach them right away. They said they can't contact the lab once the order has been placed. I find this strange since most photo labs have the technology to receive calls and emails, especially from their sales office! Had my son's sports pictures done and I have to say of all the vendors we have worked with throughout his years in sports, this was by far the best in quality (with attention paid to staging) as well as service. They were not only responsive but quickly addressed my concerns to my fullest satisfaction beyond expectations! I will definitely keep them on my list of vendors for other photography needs. I have had plenty of experience with many other photo companies (both school photos and personal family portraits etc...) and I have never had issues with any other company in the past! I ordered my daughter's school pictures and paid by check. I know they received the order from her school because the check was cashed four months ago. Her photo order was never processed. First, no one answers the phone at Ultimate Exposures and I have left four messages over the past month and have not received a return phone call. Horrible Customer Service! I am not one to take the time to write a review and give a company bad press but this company deserves it! The pictures they take do not look professional. Their prices are very high. They take pictures of our kids with their eyes closed, a sneeze coming on, or their hair in their face. They then take a long time to send the proof, and if your child is sick for "picture make up day", you're stuck with a bad picture! You call them to fix the situation, and they tell you one thing, but after the conversation goes on, they tell you a different thing. If they use one of their bad pictures, you have to pay extra to change the image, if there's a better one, if not your child is unfortunate and stuck with their bad take... They do not have professional photographers, they don't seem to care to do a good job from the beginning, and then they want to charge you an arm and a leg for their " services ". read more

Clearly they took care in making sure each child looked their best and the team photo and silly team photos were adorable. the whole process of dealing with this company was quite irritating. i strongly suggest choosing any other company for your graduation photography. 1. they did not notify me when the photos were available 2. they spelled my name incorrectly 3. some pictures under my name were not of me 4. some pictures of me were not listed under my name 5. when i contacted customer service and asked them to find the other pictures of me, they said they looked but found none (after several emails back and forth, i eventually found it and told them where it was) 6. i purchased pictures at full price, then found out that the company had sent my classmates 15% discount codes via email. i did not receive a discount code or an email at all. read more

I've hired them for special events, corporate shots and portraits. They also have photographed my son's soccer league (picture day) with no problems, and that's a tall order. I swear to goodness I have cute kids but you'll never be able to tell when looking at their yearbooks because Ultimate Exposure takes the photos every year. I believe they close their eyes and snap two pictures, then hurry your kid off while screaming "NEXT!" to the next poor child in line. read more
