When she asked which shot I was receiving, I took a moment to check my records. She appeared frustrated and abruptly left the room. When she returned with a pre-filled syringe, she did not verify the medication name with me. When I tried to confirm that it was the "Skinny Shot" and asked for the specific name of the medication, she interrupted me and refused to answer, repeatedly asking only "right or left?" for the injection site. Because she refused to communicate or confirm what was in the syringe, I left feeling unsure if the medication was even administered correctly. I have canceled all future appointments. I expect a basic level of professional courtesy and transparency regarding the treatments I am paying for, neither of which were provided here.

My deposit was $200, but I would not be surprised if the deposit amount is based on the tattoo and the amount of time an artist must reserve on their schedule. The rooms are sectioned off, however, I noticed a larger open area which is not closed off. The room was clean and organized well. There is staff that works the front area and this person will help you navigate the process. They will verify age and medical history as well as provide you with their policies. My tattoo was a very simple black outline. Deciding on the placement of the tattoo took longer than the actual tattoo. Ronnie was patient while I decided on the exact placement and size of my tattoo. At other salons I've visited, the experience typically ends with small finishing touches--like applying lotion or a brief hand massage--but this service felt very basic. I still tipped Tia 20% because Honey worked me into the schedule during what would have been Tia's break, and I appreciated that accommodation. Unfortunately, once I got home and removed my contacts so I could see my nails more clearly, I noticed several details that became more apparent over the next few days. It appeared the polish wasn't properly sealed, and one nail had missing polish along the side before I ever left the salon. Since my nails were completely dry when I departed, I believe those issues should have been caught before the service was finished. For me, the overall experience wasn't worth the drive or the price I paid. The video of my nails tells the story better than this caption ever could.
