I was confused on the booking website and booked the wrong service type, but we were able to correct this the day of the appointment after she texted me with no issues. Service: The appointment was for a microdermabrasion facial - $130 for 45 mins. For what it costs, I was a bit disappointed that the appointment, aside from the actual microdermabrasion (~5 mins), consisted more of a 4-5 step skincare routine - applying cleanser, applying mask, applying lotion. Application of the mask and sitting in the mask took up most of the appointment time. Extractions, hot facial steam, face/neck massages were not included. Overall: Reading some of the reviews now, it seems that Yourim is more commonly booked for eyelash extensions, rather than skin facials. If I'm ever in the market for an eyelash tech, I'd be happy to check her out again. For facials, I may have to check elsewhere.

Let me start off by saying, i called ahead to book a relaxing spa package for a full facial and semi massage. I get there the ladies were nice to offer me some cheese and champagne but i waited 20 minutes before being seen and there was literally no other clients there. I told Bebe i had some makeup that i need to remove and she made a huge stink about it. Why did i come with makeup? I said its easily removed i am getting a facial so cleansing is part of that.... Well according to her i should keep the makeup on because she would never have clients remove makeup. So weird!!!! I went to the bathroom anyways and removed it because im not about to have a mask and products placed over makeup! What was she trying to do, clog my pores?! Then she mentions it's a full massage and semi facial. When i said nooo i booked a semi massage and full facial, she made that a problem. Insisting her specialty is massaging and that's what the relaxation package is for. I gave in since clearly this lady is the persistent type and i was exhausted from traveling all day. She mentioned several times through the service how i need to feel Relaxed, this is going to be relaxing, jus relax but it's very difficult to relax when you keep mentioning it and talking. She made a lot of noise, either dropping things, forgetting things outside the room or mentioning what a big deal she is several times. So the last thing i felt was relaxed. The full service was about 90 min and about 45 min of that was me just laying there by myself with a bright light over my face. Not even goggles to protect my eyes. The music was abysmal. From nice spa music, to club music, to rap music at some point. It felt all over the place. I will say the massage was great. Her hands are a blessing but it was unfortunate that the ambience ruined the experience, the facial was basic and for a whopping $220 + $45 tip i was ripped off. I didn't complain or make a fuss i honestly jus wanted to get out of there actually relax in my hotel room. Luckily i will never have to come back.

I waited until around 5 days post facial to write this review…read more --First, I got very lucky with my timing b/c I asked for a facial literally right after she had a cancellation so I got in next day. But otherwise, expect to book 4-6 weeks out. --Follow her easy to understand email instructions to confirm your appointment by text, and also show up 10 mins early to appointment. That's not too much to ask. --I am 40 and have never had a facial before so I don't have anything to compare this to. --I was surprised by how fun this experience was. Really pleasant and entertaining conversation. I felt like I made a real friend. --Viktoria asks some prelim questions about products you use and medicines you take. You change into a towel robe and the facial begins. I arrived at 3:50 and walked out at 5:30. --The extractions weren't that bad but the whole time I kept thinking how blotchy and red my face was going to look. But guess what? It was not blotchy or red at all! No redness whatsoever. She must be magic. --She did steam, extractions, a mask, infrared light, some other electric thing, moisturizer, massaged my head and shoulders, it was all really nice. Cost with tip was less than $100. --It doesn't matter if you go in wearing makeup or not. --Don't plan any workouts post facial- nothing where you'll sweat afterwards. --I have had no breakouts, no peeling, no negative after effects from the facial. My skin looks great. Even my husband said I looked younger. --There was no pressure to come back at any given interval, but I will plan to go every 6 weeks or so. I already booked my return appointment. --I can't think of anything negative to say. Viktoria is really wonderful. The only possible downside I can think of is that due to location, you're not getting the nice spa atmosphere, but it would cost twice the amount at a fancy spa and you'd likely not get anyone as well trained and experienced as Viktoria, so I really recommend Viktoria for a high quality facial at reasonable price.
