My son is in this phase where he wants his haircuts with scissors only and she did an amazing job his hair looks so good. The vibe of the salon was very calm we did go in the afternoon right before closing as this was the time that worked best for your schedule. My son felt welcomed and super comfortable he talked Soben's ear off lol but she was attentive which we appreciate as the talking probably did distract him from the haircut he's been so scared to get. I saw Jill, and I only have two (minor) complaints: 1) She wasn't super gentle on my hair and I heard it breaking as she was combing it. 2) Depending on how I style my hair, the highlights can be VERY noticeable -- there is a definite line between my natural dark blonde color and the new light blonde color. That being said, though, I'm sure the color will start to blend in better after a couple days, and I just have to be a little more careful about how I style it. I really would like to give Hair N Motion 4.5 stars, but unfortunately that's not an option. The stylists were all friendly and funny, and it was a nice experience talking to them and listening to them. They seem like a big family. They have drinks and snacks available for clients while they are waiting. The salon is small, but well organized and clean. The nail girl seems really popular -- she had a stream of clients back to back during the two hours that I was there. Overall, I recommend Hair N Motion if you're looking for a new place to get your hair styled. It is staffed by friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient stylists, and they didn't try to push products on me like at most salons. Two thumbs up!
