Met with a recruiter and to my surprise she was late. She seemed like she was extremely exhausted from her day bc she was trying to catch her breath when she met with me. Seems understandable, she has to travel often and meet with a lot of people. The downside of that is she didn't seem too interested in me, personable, just covered the basics, and it just felt very scripted. Not saying she is always like that, maybe she was just having an off day, but i didn't appreciate it too much. She barely made eye contact, barely looked at my resume and didn't allow me to talk too much about my experience. She just rushed me over to the computer to take my photo and video. This agency has to be the most disappointing ever. They will not accept any tragedy's and will shut you out after that!!! ***PLEASE READ*** I applied to this agency hopeful for a position. KAREN assisted me. I have to say, they are fast. She then transferred me to Lauren I believe. They were able to find me a job. It was a Friday evening. They said I can start Monday. Sunday, I got into a car accident. I was in the hospital for a couple days. Never made it to my job. I have all the paper work. I couldn't notify them because my phone was cracked due to impact. I reached out desperately and apologized for the no show. They only said "sorry that happened, we can't offer you anything anymore" they said "we are hesitant" I was in a car crash, they are hesitant because I did a no show when I had valid excuse? That right there, is ridiculous. I let time pass. Couple months probably. I emailed Karen today asking for another opportunity. She said they can't assist me? I WOULD LOOK ELESWHERE. I was honestly amazed by them before my car crash. I was amazed by the fast service. It's too bad I had to have that happen to me, I guess I shouldn't have gotten hit by a car then. read more

Updated After I completed my assignment and was hired full time June 2017: My experience with Ultimate staffing was a dream come true. After the industry that I was working in was falling apart, I wanted to try something different. I applied to Ultimate Staffing back in December and received a phone call from Emi a few days later. The whole process was pretty quick and simple, and everyone that works in the office is very professional and personable. Emi proposed a couple of different temp jobs that were available through Ultimate, and I was working within the first two weeks after coming in. I only had to visit the staffing agency office twice, once for the initial interview and the second time just to drop off paperwork. After that, I was only required to get myself to my new job assignment. I knew from the beginning that Emi had set me up with a wonderful position as an administrative assistant and front desk receptionist in a company that is professional, kind and cares about their employees. Emi was so supportive to me throughout the 5 months that I was putting in my temp hours at this new job. She checked in on me through email and helped me with any questions I had about how to fill out my time cards, sick time (which you get!), and health insurance (woohoo!). From the beginning, I didn't really know what to expect, as I had never worked with a staffing agency before, but I know that Ultimate and Emi have given me such a wonderful experience and I definitely recommend getting in touch with her. Now that I have been hired full time at the job that Emi has set me up with, I wanted to update my entry to really reflect how grateful I am. It was such a blessing to have been set up with a good paying job, have health insurance from the start of working (and it's pretty good health insurance too!), be fortunate enough to accrue sick time and use it in the case of doctors appointments or illness. But most of all I am beyond grateful for the quality of the position that I was put in to. I have never worked for a company that treats it's employee's so well. Thank you Emi! This review is overdue but very well deserved. I had never heard of Ultimate Staffing/Roth Staffing until I was contacted by Lindsey through LinkedIn. I didn't think much of it but a few days later, I reached out to her with everything I was looking for my job search and we were able to arrange a meeting to go over my qualifications/skills and she was able to learn more about me and what I was looking for. Lindsey really was so delightful to work with through the entire process. She always made the time to answer my emails and phone calls with any questions and updates. She kept everything I wanted in mind and found a fantastic opportunity for me. Other staffing agencies never gave me the attention to detail and sincerity like Ultimate Staffing did, I will keep them in high regard for any family or friends looking for a new job or career change. **YOU BEEN WARNED** I applied for a job posting via the Internet. A Mr. M, contacted me, he went through the preliminary questions over the phone, and schedule a face to face interview with me. When I got there, I had to wait in an in an interviewing room for almost 30 minutes because Mr .M was in a meeting, very unprofessional since I got there on time, it raised a red flag on how they treat potential temps. Anyways I completed the interview with Mr. M, I even did a short video of me, which is recommended by the staffing agency, I thought it went well. Next was an interview with Mr. M's Manager (Ms. Hollywood-I will call her), needless to say, it went down hill from there. She shook my hand scanned me with her eyes, then quickly sat down like she was in a hurry. For the next couple of minutes, she didn't not even look at me or even wait for me to finish answering her few questions she had asked me, it raised another red flag. I really was interested in this job I was applying for, which I was way more than qualified, but towards the end of my interview with Ms. Hollywood, while I was thanking her for interviewing me, she abruptly reached over the desk and gives me her card and with out looking at me gets up walked towards the door and tells me we will keep your resume and contact you for any job matches to my resume. Needless to say, I was left utterly appalled. To the point of feeling discriminated against my nationality, because I was obviously qualified for this position. I waited for about 3 days, no calls from Mr. M, so I decided to leave a message to return my call regarding the position I applied for, what I got was the same cookie cutter response that I received from Ms. Hollywood. The third and final red flag. I never got a call back and it's about almost a month now. Side note, I had another interview with the same agency later that day at a different location, but Mr. M told me he would contact them to cancel that interview since I already have interview with him. To no surprise, he never did, so I received a slightly upset call from the staffing recruiter asking why I didn't make my interview. I highly do not recommended this staffing agency, if I can give this 0 stars I would. Do not waste your time this place is soo unprofessional and their business conduct is appalling. You been warned. Be HONEST and TRANSPARENT. Especially Maddie from the costa mess location. My experience was so negative with them. I almost became homeless due to a sudden job assignment loss and they never even remotely helped me find another assignment even though I have lots of experience and clerical skills. I went hungry for a couple months and basically went without a paycheck for an entire month thanks to the horrible customer service at ultimate. I will NEVER recommend to anyone. read more

Ultimate Staffing Services was a lifesaver! I had been looking for work on my own but was unable to find something that would provide me the hours, pay and schedule I needed all in one job. It was either one or the other. With being a working mom, you know you have to have something that fits into your already busy schedule. They took such a weight off my shoulders. You tell them what pay, what type of work and the hours you are looking for and that's exactly what they were able to get me. Laura Van D., worked so hard in helping me find what I needed and always kept me informed along the way. They have you submit a small video introducing yourself for them to show to the company looking to hire through their agency. They were able to get me an in person interview right away which they made sure I was able to be prepared and do my research before hand which was very helpful, and was offered the job right away and started that next week. The company I was temping for was so great and made me feel right at home. Shortly after that me and my husband got the news that we were expecting our second baby. Both the staffing company and the site I worked at I was working at were so great and accommodating. I worked up until my due date, my maternity leave went smoothly and I was able to return to work as soon as I was able. I feel Ultimate Staffing and Laura really went above and beyond to make sure I was not only taken care of but was happy there. Checking in and seeing how I was doing. After my contracted hours were up, the company I was temping for brought me onto their team permanently and its been a great fit for me and my growing family.
