Working with this place was THE worst time of my professional life. I applied for a certain position with a certain salary budget range that was publicly shared info. I got offered a different position with a different range and when I asked questions they had no answers, despite boasting about their long-term professional relationship with the company of my position. Later, my hiring manager actually said it was his first time working with them. They told me lies based on nothing because they knew nothing about the company even though they claimed to. The person that I mainly worked with was so unbelievably unprofessional at times I was speechless. They resulted to the lowest of lows in bullying and car salesman tactics (like arguing about my employment history which is very clearly laid out on my resume, trying to convince me that I am worth less salary, telling me I should take literally any job that is more money than my current one even if it's only 2k more, etc.). And then when I called them out on their lies about what I would get in my position, the response I got was "we never said that". SERIOUSLY??? Seriously!?!? They can't even say "I apologize about that, it looks like we were incorrect"? That is a horrible and unethical business practice. Thank God I had email proof of their straight up lies. I eventually ended up talking with someone that was supposedly higher up in the chain but if another executive reads this please feel free to contact me and I will show you the unprofessionalism. The person I worked with should be dismissed from their job. Unless bullying tactics is how the entire company does business. I liked the position and the company of my position but the attitude of these people almost made me decline just so I didn't have to work with them anymore. If I didn't care about being a terrible person, I would have told the manager what was going on, and then reapplied through their website. They don't deserve any commission for coercing people into roles they might not want or might not be the best fit for them. In conclusion, if someone here contacts you about a job I would suggest looking for that exact posting on other websites or just go along with it until the initial screening interview, tell 24 seven you're not interested, and then go apply through the company instead. It will save you many hours of stupid back and forth discussion. read more

Hooked up with this company a few years back. At first they treat you like a rockstar. But after you sign the deal to work with them, all the bells and whistles are gone. You become just another cog in their machine. I was one of the lucky few to actual get a temp gig within the first week. Then another about two weeks later... After that, I hear nothing from them in weeks, months, then years... I got hired more and got paid more doing the job hunting myself. Every so often I'd called them in hopes to fill some gaps in my freelance schedule. They would say they've got nothing. I would get a notification on social media that they posted a job opportunity in their site. I call back, no answer. Eventually I dug around enough to figure out what the job was about and who it was for. I contacted the company directly and I was not at all surprised when they told me that they haven't had any luck getting help from 24 Seven. I got the job, got paid alot more than the 24 Seven minimum... It's a bottom line company. They couldnt give two sh**s a about you. 3 stars for getting my first two mediocre jobs in an industry I probably would have considered working with. read more

It was exactly what I was looking for and I'm on interview two now. The entire time they've remained in contact and have a couple of options ready if my current attempt falls through. Couldn't be happier so far. Update: Well, they seemed to just fizzle out. Had to start calling more and more. Never got new offers...Ended up going with a different recruiter and was hired immediately at a MUCH higher salary than they thought I could get. She took two weeks to get back to me, and not only that, but when she finally did schedule a phone interview- she failed to even call me at all. I ended up calling myself and when I did get a hold of her, she gave me attitude and asked me if I was the one who had time. Not on their game. I filled out an application online and set myself up with a profile. Then I called to speak to a recruiter to find out more about their company and the types of jobs they had and left a message when no one answered. I did received a callback the next day where they immediately began interviewing me over the phone. Then towards the end of the call they said that based on my experience that without a doubt they would be able to connect me with job opportunities and even scheduled a time for me to come in the next day for an in person interview. HOWEVER, they told me to wait on a confirmation email with the remainder of the details. NEVER HEARD BACK. I found this lack of follow through to be very unprofessional and quickly moved on to other options. read more

I started working with 24 Seven back in October of 2016. I'm from San Diego, and since there isn't a 24 Seven in San Diego, I came to my first meeting with them at the Newport location. I told the team I was open to the Orange County and Los Angeles markets as well, since I was eager to find a job in my field. The recruiters were excited and said this was no problem. They were happy to see I was open to multiple opportunities, and not limited to San Diego. I was initially glad to see they had a prospective job for me a week after our first meeting. This job was in Orange County, and did match what I was looking for job wise. My recruiter at the time, Lauren, set up the interview and sent me all the final confirmations. I drove up from San Diego to this initial interview in Orange County. After the interview, I didn't feel as though I would be a good fit at the company. The hiring managers for the position seemed less than thrilled to be speaking to me, and it felt like they took my interview out of obligation. As candidates, we have the right to still decline a company if it doesn't turn up to be what we were looking for, and especially if the hiring managers are acting rude like you don't belong there. After the interview, I called Lauren and told her that I wasn't going to be interested with working for the company she was trying to recruit me for. She apologized and agreed it was weird for the company to act that way. I assumed it was done at that point. If I said I wasn't interested, the recruiter should understand not to continue that position. I got call from Lauren a few days later that the company (strangely enough) wanted to pursue me as a candidate. I was very surprised to hear that. I told her I appreciated the offer, but I already decided I wasn't going to work for them and had been pursuing other opportunities. However, she kept persisting on me agreeing to this company. She urged me to have a back up in case one of my opportunities didn't go through. It seemed like she was just trying to get her commission for landing me a job rather than care that I genuinely had an offending interview process. Ever since this happened, I have not heard back from her or anyone else at 24 Seven. I tried emailing her a month later even stating that I appreciated her efforts on the last position while I didn't pursue it, and if she had any further positions. I felt as though just because I had said no to this one position, where I was personally uncomfortable in an interview, that I was banned from being a candidate with this recruiting agency. It was never a matter of the distance for me, since I obviously made the time to drive twice up to OC. It's disappointing that I never heard back from them still because of this matter. read more

I had to submit my resume 3 times in 3 different file formats before they got it. The first time the person on the phone admitted that their system lost my resume. I called them over and over again before finally getting e-mail correspondence with someone who was even remotely able to help me. What kind of recruitment agency can't open pdf files or even doc files? After they finally were able to put my resume into the system, they told me someone would call within the next 3-5 days to schedule a meeting. I waited a week then called them again and the person on the phone told me to just keep waiting and that I shouldn't call again. It's been a couple of months and these guys have not called, e-mailed or tried to contact me at all. I of course never got any job leads or interviews from them, and I wouldn't be surprised if they had lost my resume again. They have been of no help whatsoever and have been nothing but a waste of time. The only consolation I have is that I never paid them. Don't bother with these incompetent guys, you're better off on your own. read more
