Our guided tour was led by Dave. He is so knowledgeable and an avid history buff. His personality is perfect for this historical and important museum. We also toured the Folsom Tavern and it was equally interesting and a beautiful space. Elizabeth in the gift shop was so wonderful and helpful. The gift shop is filled with so many great items. My spouse bought two books to collect in the library where she works. This is a local NH gem and an important part of NH history. I'm so glad I discovered the American Independence Museum. Getting there was easy and parking was not bad ($10 cash for the day). You walk to the pier and there's a man with a clipboard you check in with. We left the dock a bit before 2 and the whole trip took about 4 hours. We were lucky enough to see 5 different whales and group of dolphins. The workers were polite and knowledgeable. They do sell snacks, drinks, beer, and some hot food on board (and take cards).
