You will not see a doctor's name in the front. I've been using Dr Jackson for the past three years. He is a compassionate veterinarian who takes his time talking with his customers. And he also gets down to the level of the animal. He does not use a financial contractor for his billing, which is one reason why his rates are lower than most other DVMs in town. This is also the reason so many elderly pet owners come here. The office is busy and I get better service when I stop in rather than call as I hate being put on hold. My dogs have been treated by other DVMs here as well: Dr Baird and Dr Huff both can be recommended. All three doctors have spayed my animals and all have recovered beautifully with little scaring. And not one of them has talked down to me. I read the other reviews here. Some were written after an emotional loss of a beloved pet. Doctors are not miracle cures if a customer waits until it's too late to treat a disease. None of the doctors here are "quacks." Some patients refuse to have blood panels done before surgery, and that blood test can identify other issues with cancers or organ failure. Many low-income customers may not want to pay $74 for that blood panel, or extra for added pain medication. So these doctors have to work with what the customers allow to be done. Not all animals can be saved. My senior dog Sweetie had her teeth cleaned today and several abscessed teeth pulled. The vet tech Ben was professional and compassionate as he gently walked Sweetie back to the prep room. I waited an hour in the waiting room with all the other anxious pet owners until I was assured Sweetie was healthy enough at 11 years old to get her choppers cleaned. The price was very reasonable: $240 for the cleaning, $100 for five incisor extractions, $40 for one molar extraction, $74 for blood panel, $74 for IV and fluids. The total came to $555.75 with the post-surgery medications. Other vet clinics in town charge far more for teeth cleaning and extractions.

Our vet in Phx said it would be $1,100 to $1,300 to have it surgically removed but that it could wait. His ear got worse when we were in Bisbee so we took him to Mule Moutain Animal Hospital. They were able to get him in for evaluation the next day and instead of surgery said they could drain it, and gave us some anti-imflamatory pills, the office visit, procedure and pills were $107. The Husband wife team were incredible, so kind and compassionate. I highly recommend this vet to anyone in the Southern AZ area. I would bring Angus back for other vet care.

This is a hard review to write but I feel it's worth sharing…read more I have been a customer of creature comforts for over eight years and I'm sad to say that new management leaves much to be desired. After hiring a pet sitter to come do two visits during a short day trip we had a huge issue with none of our directions being followed. Our five-month-old puppy was left in the crate to go out after the adult dogs on both visits (sitter put it in her notes) and ended up having an accident during the second visit. The Pet Sitter even noted that the puppy went back into the crate not having gone to the bathroom despite our request to just text us and let us know if we needed to extend the time on our visit. The sitter added to her notes that our neighbor poked his head over the fence and created an issue with the adult dogs which required her to put the puppy in the house unsupervised while she attended to them. When we returned we checked with our neighbor to see what had happened to cause him to peek over the fence. We were shocked to learn that he poked his head over to say hello to which the sitter did not respond or get up from the chair she was sitting in in the backyard. The puppy was not in the yard at all which means he was in his crate. As soon as I saw the notes from the sitter I called Monica the new manager to share my concerns and she agreed 100% that the job was just too much for her new pet sitter. She apologized and offered to take care of our pets herself if our normal pet sitter was not available in the future. When I got the bill the next day I was charged full price for the second visit so I reached out to say that I was shocked I was being charged for the second visit. She quickly responded saying I was right and she should have removed the charge. She actually removed all fees for the whole day which I didn't mention or expect. I thought all was well and we would just move forward. After all this was one rough visit from a newer pet sitter and we have trusted the company for years. WRONG... A few days later I went to book a day trip and my account wasn't working. I messaged Monica to see if she could help. She notified me that they were dropping us as clients because they weren't equipped to train a service dog. To be clear there was no request to train the puppy only to let him out to go potty and play. Needless to say I was incredibly hurt and frustrated. Having been with the company for over 8 years with no issues and many visits every year, this was almost unbelievable. Even more to the point I only discovered we being dropped because I went to book another service. Had I not tried to do so I would have had no idea she was "dropping" us. Especially given the fact that Monica acknowledged the fact that sitter ignored our notes and even added that letting the puppy out first was common sense. We talked to our neighbor who shared that the pet sitter was sitting on the porch the whole time and the puppy wasn't even outside. Now I am searching for a new pet sitter as she refuses to call me and discuss it. She sent an email and apparently I deserve nothing more. I even asked her to reach out so I could share what my neighbor had seen and she refuses to call. I am sad, disappointed and frustrated that this is the situation we are in. I would like to clarify that in the past we have had amazing pet sitters with creature comforts and had zero issues. In fact I used to brag about how amazing creature comforts was to anyone who would listen. Sherry was absolutely amazing and I am hurt by the way this has been handled. Pet parents beware .... Unprofessional management is not trustworthy. When something goes wrong with the sitter the owner seems 100% supportive and understanding then drops you without even saying anything. It's not the same without Sherry.

I called them at the last minute due to a change in our holiday travel plans, and they were so quick to accommodate me into their busy schedule. I was immediately put in touch with the amazing person who would be taking care of my fur baby, and we arranged to drop him off ON THANKSGIVING DAY! Who else will do that for you? When I dropped him off, Mayra put me at ease and showed me that my little guy would have his own room where he could play and move about. When we left, I received a message saying that my dog had some treats and went down for a nap. She even sent me a picture of him, throughout the days, she continued to send me updates, pictures and even videos. When I picked him up, he was happy and spunky. I know he had a good weekend there with Mayra. I'm so thankful that I have someone who will take care of my dog the same way I do! These ladies do an amazing job and I can't wait to use them again! With that said Andreaus is a trainers trainer! She was trained as a service dog and there is nothing she can't do, as my wife would say she is bomb proof . Final complaint, my request was not honored. I met my dog after the groom and her beautiful fur had been shaved very very short. First words out of my mouth was OH NO!! That is not my dog! She assured it was. My dogs fur was no longer. All I saw was a dog without fur and seem small. I felt devastated and did have a reaction of mix feelings. I turned to her and asked her...I thought I told you bath, deshedd and just a trim? She answered to me..."That is a trim." My dogs fur has been compromised. I have to make sure she doesn't overheat or burnt by the sun. A trim to me is to cut lightly so it looks neat and clean. A shave is a shave. My Goodness Lady!!! How could you do such a thing to a GSD when your company specialize in the professionalism???? Please to the owner, monitor who you employ. I am very sad this happened to my dog and it not know better what was happening. I will not be back after this experience. Everytime I look at my dog, I feel sad and let it down. This is a true story.
