The walls aren't sound proof so you'll hear other singers, but not enough to harm your performance. They also had mic covers to protect from spit. We called at 5 pm Saturd right as it opened and was told all the small rooms were booked, but they were willing to give us the mid size room for the same price. The guy on the phone and at the counter was friendly. He gave us a quick tutorial in the room and off we went. As in most Karaoke places it offered songs mainly in English and Chinese, as well as some other languages (Japan/Kpop/Vietnamese/Malay, etc) English songs are easiest to find, Chinese songs as usual are more challenging. If you can hand write 繁體字 or 简体字 it's to your advantage. The sound system was adequate but probably slightly inferior to Music Tunnel KTV in Cupertino. The mic looked new and they even provided mini masks to cover up the head for protection in case you got too intimate with the mic. The menu can be toggled in between English or Chinese, the functions were not overly complicated. They gave us complimentary bottled water but no other services. Our rates were $30/hr ($15 per 30 min to be exact), I don't know if it's the same for weekdays vs weekends. Overall it's very reasonable and we probably will be back due to its proximity.

When customers keep a tab open, they're trusting the bartender to charge accurately. That trust should not be abused. It appears the totals were inflated beyond the actual drinks ordered, which conveniently results in higher tips when the card is charged. Management should seriously look into Ramona's transactions and receipts. If this issue isn't addressed, I will be reporting the discrepancies to my credit card companies for investigation. Customers deserve honesty when their card is behind the bar.

I'm not sure about their regular karaoke system, but you can switch to Youtube and look up songs on there, so that's what we did. Service was fine and the place is clean and updated. I just cannot imagine that in the year 2026, they have no way of playing YouTube karaoke on their screen. We were told we can play YouTube but it will just have the music playing on the speakers and the lyrics will be on the phone only. No screen mirroring capability or any way to connect it to the big TV. Which was really a disappointment because their song selections are limited, they did not have an extensive library.
