We had the pleasure to have Al of Ultrapure come to our house about a week ago and explain the Ultrapure water filtering system to us. He tested our water and showed us the level of chemicals and metals that were present in our water and we were immediately sold on the convenience of replacing all of our individual filters in the house with one whole house filtering system. Al examined our plumbing system and found the pipes and location that he needed for installation. Today Al and LIz arrived as promised to install the system. These are two of the nicest people that I have had the pleasure of working with. They did an amazingly efficient and neat installation of the filtering tank. They removed at my request all of the individual filters from my various water sources around the house and left me with the one tank that will now do my entire house and leave us with clean safe drinking water. There were no hidden costs, upcharges or surprises. We were left with newly tested water with reductions in chemicals and metals as promised. I called to have my water tested because I could smell chlorine in it. Liz was helpful and professional, and educated as she was testing. It was a no brainer for us to do and we are so happy we did. My son's eczema is going away, my skin is softer, and I can even taste the difference in the food I cook. The water itself tastes great. The softening of the water made it so much more sudsy I actually use less soap! I am beyond thrilled we not only put a system in, but used Ultra Pure. If you are a resident of the Town of Bloomfield, you have undoubtedly received several notices about the water. Although we had several filters installed at our sinks, we had been intending to install a filtration system for the entire house. We wanted to ensure that our filters were doing their job and we wanted to remove the chlorine odor from the water in the shower. We scheduled an in-home consultation after visiting an Ultra Pure kiosk at the Bloomfield Harvest Festival. Two days later we had a representative perform a comprehensive test of the town water, the performance of our existing filter, and a demonstration of their filter. The demonstration took about 45 minutes. We learned that our installed filters were mostly effective in removing potential contaminants and problematic minerals and that we did not need a water softener. The only downside was the strong additional pitch at the end of the meeting requesting additional referrals and the "benes" we would receive (e.g. money off of groceries, cruise, etc.). Even after we had made it clear we had no one to refer and had paid, she continued to push a bit too much. We did purchase a full home filtration system to address chlorine and other issues. Installation occurred 3 days later. They gave us a 2 hour window and installation took about an hour. We will only have to flush the filter once a year and the filter will last 7-10 years. Ultra Pure will either finance the installation or you will receive a discount if you pay in full. The company also provides an array of environmentally hand and face soaps, and household cleaners free of charge with your purchase. They give you so much, in fact, that even if we had a B&B, we would never run out. I have no idea what we will do with all of this soap. It has been a week and we really like the filter. Our water tastes and smells better. We are happy with our purchase. read more

I met the owner, Al. He is a very kind sweet human being. He definitely cares about others and it is demonstrated with his interaction with people and myself. I had pleasure of watching his demonstration and being educated on health / wellness, water and air that we breathe. You can really tell that he's passionate about what he does for a living and he loves it it's not work he is very knowledgeable about the subject matters and he's been doing this longer than I have been living on this earth I highly recommend him! PS not all people are honest like me and give true reviews, sometimes people write reviews based on their emotions and not on the facts. I've had my Ultra Pure water filter for almost 3 years now and I absolutely love it. Recently, I renovated my kitchen and needed to have the water filter reinstalled. Joe Puglise was very knowledgable and helpful in organizing my appointment for the filter to be reinstalled. Once Eddie arrived, he was extremely thorough, pleasant, and professional. I've signed up for their services with a five year contract. They came and installed the water machine and I thought everything was good only to be told one week later I had to be the guarantor for the five year contract which I refused. It's $35 per month and they making such a big hassle. So they had a guy come in without notifications and removed the machine. I don't appreciate the huge waste of time. Could have been told this since day one. Having said that, I am now buying my own machine and installing it myself. You can get one for around $350 that comes with filter and installation kit. It's fairly easy to install and the filters are around $40 each that's good for about 1000 gallons. read more

After years of lugging 5 gallon jugs or cases of water, and still not getting the quality water our bodies deserve, I decided to have the Ultra Pure installed in my home.Seeing the testing comparisons done by Rosetta, was the game changer for me. It took me months to actually write this because I dislike writing bad reviews but unfortunately I would love the masses to be reach by this review. I been a customer of Ultra Pure company for over a year now. I've worked there myself personally, had a couple of my relatives as well as friends to actually have a water filtered installed at their home. It was good and convenient but it just got to the point that I felt like we're being SCAM. Originally, the water filter that's installed at our home will be replaced yearly, all of a sudden they informed my relatives, friends and I that it now last 3 years which I think is bull$hit cause they never really provided us a new filter that last for 3 years. My family and I had the shower and drinking water filter combo, but for more than a year now, we had to removed our shower filter because it made our shower pressure very low but STILL paying for both the shower filter and drinking water filter. We called customer service several times, only to instruct us how to "clean" the shower filter but it never really improved any water pressure in our end so we decided to just removed it and still paying for both filters. This company is a SCAM, they definitely don't care about customers, they only care about their pockets. In all honestly, I want my water to be tested again just to make sure that this filter they're saying last for 3 years actually works because I felt like we were scammed by them saying our filter will be sent YEARLY then all of a sudden changed to every 3 years, that's breaking our contract and also breaking their promises to their customers. I am appalled and embarrassed that my relatives and friends had to deal with this chaos that I brought to them. I am embarrassed myself for trusting a company that supposedly "helped" people lived a healthier lifestyle by drinking, washing and showering with alkaline water but I unfortunately made a mistake trusting a company that just out to get your money. Let see if this review get attention from the management, maybe this time they'll do something about our shower filter and our water filter. Like I said in the beginning of this review, it took me months to finally had the guts to actually write a review about this company. Don't get me wrong, the workers were nice, the owner was cool but it just unfortunate that they had to say one thing about the contract and then ended up something else but if the customer break their contract they will be fine such big amount of money. I'm not saying I'm not happy with the filter, it's been convenient for us but it's also giving us minor problems that adds up to major ones. Hopefully the management will be able to read this and be able to compromised in an agreement. It's basically a glorified water filter. They came to clean it ONE TIME. In 4 years. We decided to have our water tested because myself as well as my youngest daughter suffer from eczema. I could not believe how high some of the things were in our water not to mention that the chlorine was so high that if you had a swimming pool you wouldn't be allowed to swim in the water yet it was okay for us to drink? My husband and I immediately decided we were putting in the filtration system and what a difference. The water tastes so much better, when we shower you feel a significant difference and my daughters eczema has calmed down significantly. Recently had a drinking water filtration system installed at the end of a sales pitch. While I do understand the benefit of having sound quality water, I'm not sure the cost of this particular filter comes even close to outweighing the benefits it provides. For starters, I was tricked by a relative into scheduling the sales pitch as she reassured my that it wasn't such. Said it was for training purposes and that she needed to give a presentation during which they would also perform useful testing of my water quality. Her "supervisor" was also to be in attendance for evaluation purposes. Sounds fantastic right? Within the first few minutes of conversation and I'm being drilled about my budgets and how much I would be able to comfortably spend if I saw a product I loved, I quickly realized I was in the middle of a sales pitch. I'm not exactly thrilled at that point but I politely listened anyway. After a few minutes spent of said supervisor reading off a booklet, we moved to the actual testing. Upon my insistence, he performed comparative testing of UP's filter vs the inexpensive Brita that I currently use. To my satisfaction, the differences weren't crazy material. However, upon testing chlorine level of my city tap, it was very apparent that it was very high. He built on that finding as well as well as the fact that Brita filtered water excluded natural alkaline ( Alkaline is supposed to neutralize the acidity in the water and improve the taste). Though a bit reluctant, I did end up making the decision to purchase their filter at the end of the pitch. The reluctance was as a result of cost. Per my analysis, switching to UP filter would increase my current water filtration cost by over 500% per year for the first 2 years and then about 100% per year thereafter. ( I spent well under $100 on Brita filters a year while the Ultra Pure initial cost is about $1000 for the system, and filters need to be replaced after 2 years at $239 ). I went along with it against my better judgement, thinking the water better taste damn amazing for that type of price increase! Technician came in a couple of days later at the agreed upon time, and installation process took about less than 30 min. Imagine my disappointment when I poured my first glass to find out the taste did not differ much from my Brita water! Yes there was a small difference, but not worth the price in my opinion. I don't mind paying top dollar for quality product. But this product is far from being superior given the price. I blame no one but myself for making an uninformed decision against my better judgement. If you are considering a new water filter system, do yourself a huge favor and do some research as there are tons of options out there. Also this company has very low employee rating on Glassdoor. Most of these low ratings state false promise as their reason. Guess it's false promises all around on this one. read more

Because of the poor water quality in my area, I recently installed an Ultra-Pure water filter throughout my entire home. Rose (AKA) Aqua woman was very professional, knowledgeable and pleasant. I felt she was sharing very needed information with me and I was very impressed with her presentation. The technician that installed the unit was also polite, pleasant and knowledgeable about the workings of the unit with respect to maintenance. Before leaving he made sure that the water pressure from the pipes were good. In addition, Rose came by a week later to see if I had any concerns or issues with the unit.This demonstrated to me that she is a loyal, and professional individual who care about her work and clients. Including the carbon neutral manufacturing of the Pure & Gentle product line, and the emphasis of elimination of plastic bottles reducing plastic, petroleum use/waste, as well as over all greenhouse gas emissions. Being and individual who just graduated with a Bachelor's in environmental studies/sciences, almost all of my studies and works have revolved around almost all aspects of sustainability, energy technology, population, and globalization. I enjoy working with Rosetta and admire her confidence. I admire the passion and experience of those involved/associated with Ultra Pure and do see why people like working here. The managers are very charismatic and helpful with a non-nonchalant mentality accompanied with good time management and are task oriented. My experience with Ultra Pure has been nothing but great. Great customer service and a greater quality for drinking water. Purchasing the water filtration system was an investment that I did not take likely. As a newer resident of my town, I was not aware of any past and present water issues. I never ingested the water since moving into my apartment because it didn't look right and had a smell. I initially drank bottled water but later transitioned to the a brand named filter pitcher which I've been using for the past few years. I met Elizabeth, one of the owners, during the town's festival at another vendor's table. She wasn't trying to sell me anything. Just a couple of women discussing fashion and jewelry. I asked Liz what she was vending for and she spoke of her company and its history. She offered to test my tap water which I initially declined because I already knew it wasn't up to my standards. I soon rescinded when I asked and she confirmed that she could test my brand named filtered water in comparison. The test was informative and an eye opener. I bombarded Elizabeth with plenty of questions and she answered them all. I was practically sold on the system when I found out that my brand named filtered water was acidic. Smh! The system was installed by Al, the other owner, a few days later. The install was simple where I asked more questions regarding how to maintain the filter and uninstalling the filter whenever I move. I was able to snap a video for later reference. Encountering Elizabeth and Al has been such a blessing ! They are passionate about clean drinking water and their consumer follow-up is above. No more purchasing bottled and/or alkaline water for me. I was lucky enough to be selected into being trained to do marketing at Ultra Pure. Within the first week I was given seminars on how the company works and what products they service communities in the area with. They are internationally known and offer trips to customers and employees as incentives for being involved with their products. The enthusiasm from the training managers and the health education they offer in the training process is priceless. My whole outlook on the world had changed within my first week. I was given a unique opportunity to be coached one on one by Rosetta aka Aquawoman! I found it refreshing to find a job where I could use my personality and charm to create warm sales calls in my area. I appreciated that I didn't have to make people uncomfortable with a sense of urgency but I could rely on my newfound knowledge of the Ultra Pure products to inform people that they could find a healthier path to clean drinking water, safer cleaning products, and many other innovative cutting edge products. read more

Don't trust there water test. Remember they are out to sell a product. WHICH IS A WATER FILTER,,,,,, ALWAYS GET A WATER TEST FROM A CO THAT IS NOT SELLING WATER FILTERS. They recently placed FREE water testing kits for pick up in our town by placing them in mailboxes. Now I trust no one. No co does anything for free. If you think they do, you too need help. I filled there test kit with DISTILLED water. When they called about the results of the test I was informed that my water test had HIGH LEAD LEVELS. HOW COULD THAT BE DISTILLED WATER IS PURE. However they wanted to set up another more in dept water test just for the reason of getting a real live sales person in for a face to face pitch read more

Folks, don't let them in your door. Their sales rep "aquawoman" Ms. Lardieri comes into your house, gets out her water testing gear and proceeds to show you how bad your tap water is, even thru a Brita water filter which we were using. Ours was acidic she says. We buy lots of organic produce. She states that rinsing off organic produce under our unfiltered tap water would render the produce non-organic. So instead of saying thanks but no thanks and send her on her way, we let the con continue and I ask some questions. First of all, we have your standard kitchen sink that has the holes for the faucet and the extra one for the spritzer nozzle which we were using. So I ask where do you plan on putting the water spigot that's coming from her filter. She says we will just drill a hole through your faucet base and mount it there. Ok fine. No big deal as long as it doesn't interfere with the faucets operation or the spray nozzle. Now the following is the reason for me writing this negative review. I ask what if there's problems involving the filter, the tubing, the spigot, it's mount or faucet has issues. She says we get unlimited service calls as part of the contract. I say jokingly you mean we can have a service guy over here every week if we want. She looks me straight in the eye and says yes, within reason. So long story short, my wife ends up signing a contract to rent with the option to buy a $2000 under the counter water filter. I come back from a business trip and the filter is installed. It was professionally installed, nothing loose. I'm guessing maybe 2 years go by we had no issues and never had a service visit of any kind. Then the kitchen faucet breaks. I need to replace the faucet but their spigot is mounted on top of it. So I call up their service department thinking I'll buy a new faucet and have their service guy come over and drill a hole in the new faucet and remount it, no big deal. Now this where the fun begins. Their service department, if you want to call it that, consists of one lady as far as I can tell. It seems to me, her job is to avoid sending someone over at any cost. She'll ask for pictures, descriptions, anyway she can assess the problem so she can walk YOU thru a fix. I tell her my problem. She tells me that the spigot needs to be moved and that will cost me a hundred and something dollars for someone to come out. So after telling her what I was told by the sales rep regarding unlimited service calls, she disagrees. I getting angry, I want the service rep to contact the sales rep and have her explain to me why she basically lied to me about unlimited service calls. I never heard from her. So i'm not paying for them to come to my house and I ask the service rep very pointed questions (like the diameter and type of drill bit to use) and how to mount their spigot on a faucet base. She accuses me of belittling her. This lady has no business being in customer service interacting with people. So after things calm down, she ends up emailing me some mounting procedures she digs up. So that's where it stands. I have a broken faucet with their spigot on it and some mounting instructions. They basically said screw you, your on your own or pay the piper.
