He addressed the pump issue, checked the pressure in my well tank, fixed leaking gas lines and fixed my sump pump. The cost was in the range I expected. Very professional, knowledgeable plumbers. As they progressed with the repair, they came and told us what they were finding and how they would repair it. They completed the task in about an hour. Also they noticed a possible other situation we may need to address and gave us the information we will need to move forward with that later. It concerns the Middlesex Water main valve. A Middlesex Water representative came out right away, to assist and let us know what he saw. That night, there was a new issue with a different bathroom that may have been related to the work they were doing. I called up, sent them a video and they came back today and fixed it. He informed me that he would arrive after 7 pm. I, as a service technician myself, prepared everything and ensured that all necessary steps were taken for his arrival. Despite not receiving a specific time, given his previous work at my home, I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt and hoped for a prompt arrival. However, waiting for 7 hours without any updates was frustrating. It is crucial that when committing to a time, an exact time is provided, especially for emergency calls. While I have no complaints about Michael's work quality and pricing, the significant delay and lack of communication were unacceptable. After finally receiving a message stating he would arrive at 10:30 pm that evening or 4:30 pm the following day, I have decided to sever all ties with Michael and will not be recommending his services to others. Mike answered the phone on the first ring and was fantastic with communication. He gave me his cell phone number so I could text him pictures of the plumbing set up at my home. Mike's employee, Julian, showed up right at the scheduled time of 8 am and was wearing a mask, which I appreciate. Julian was friendly, polite, organized, and efficient. I felt comfortable having him work at my house. The price was reasonable and they gave us a 10% discount for paying in cash. I like it when businesses do that. Julian did a nice job. In Line was called, and after noting it wasn't an immediate concern we made an appointment for today. The van arrived a bit early (!!), and this valve was quickly replaced, and another small plumbing job at the kitchen sink was taken care of. Did I mention he slipped on booties on entering the house to keep the floor clean? Nicely done!

Working with Rob Mandell was an absolutely atrocious experience. He is rude, unprofessional, does…read morenot deliver on what is promised and does an inferior job on what is and; furthermore, he is very demanding, condescending and chauvinistic. He was supposed to remodel my bathroom in a 2 weeks. Almost 6 months later, it is still not done and I am left with a mess to clean up. The toilet he installed leaked staining my ceiling. I currently have only half a shower door so, if I use it, it floods the floor. According to Rob, my shower door came in wrong twice. I waited two months for the correct frameless shower door yet he proceeded to install one which was the incorrect size (71 1/4 and not 72) ruining the tilework. After installing the incorrect size door, he demanded almost ten thousand more than what was in the initial contract to get the other side of the door cut which he said did not fit with what was installed. When I refused to pay any additional money, he walked off the job and proceeded to text me for weeks calling me names and threatening to call collections. I am left to get the half door removed and cover the holes at this point at my own expense. The original contract, including the correct entire shower door is paid for. Additionally, in the process, he scraped my bathroom floor leaving it bare so, to be fixed, I would need to have the floor completely redone. The entire job is shoddy. I have holes where he grouted and it is disintegrating and even the caulk already has holes and is turning yellow. The project was a complete disaster and waste of money. It caused me a lot of unneeded stress. I would strongly advise to not work with him.
