First time here. They didn't open up the other floors until after 1130. So we went to another club and came back to see what the other floors were like. First floor was kind of dead. But enough space to drink and chill. Second floor was overly packed. You couldn't wait at the bar for a drink without people walking pass and bumping into you non stop Third floor we went too.... Paid $70 for an event here. Had to go through 6 security guys to get in. When we arrived it was dead, but the DJ was popping so we decided to each get a drink. 1 Tito's and sprite and 1 baileys and amaretto came out to $55 and the drinks were 3/4 ice in cups slightly bigger than Dixie cups. Tito's and sprite tasted like bad tap water. Thought we'd check out the other floors, but they were all closed. Stayed for maybe 10 minutes, super lame. Waste of money. read more

They don't even given priority to pretty girls or what you would expect of a club, and I'm a white guy. I went here for my birthday 09/30/23 and the place is crazy! ( In a good way ) 4 floors each one has a different atmosphere, I enjoyed the time I spent there. Other than the small issue with being over charged for 4 drinks the total was 104.09 which is a little excessive for Vegas bombs. I tried paying with my debit but I couldn't cover it, I didn't have my credit card with me so another friend paid for it. To my knowledge ( I'm not sure how their pos system works ) when you pay half, you can use another card to pay the remainder OR trust that the bartender would cancel the transaction and use the second card to pay it in full right? But we were both charged for the same amount and neither one of the emails are available to contact with a manager/ owner. DON'T IGNORE THE REVIEWS. Came on a Thursday night. Don't waste your time and more importantly your money! I went to one bartender and ordered a gin and tonic for $17. She didn't make it with tonic water like I asked so went to fix with the other bartender. She tried to charge me $20! Of course I disputed that. Also, they said you have to buy a 2 drink minimum EVERYTIME you order! I go back to the bar to order another gin tonic & shot of gin. I asked her what was the price of each she told me they were the same $20! How is a shot more than a drink, even so $20 for a shot?! Attended Ladies Night 7/30 with a large group of friends and was shocked by the events that occurred throughout: - Demanded that certain friends pay $20 to get in while some got in free of charge, didn't ask for vip pass for ladies night although said friends had them. - One bartender (female) said there was credit card minimum to male friends ordering while the other (male bartender) said there wasn't to the female ordering. - Same female bartender (dark skinned girl with short hair on first floor with beads in her hair) forced friend to get two drinks because there was "a two drink minimum." Meanwhile, this wasn't imposed on the female who ordered a singular beer from the male bartender. This female bartender was shady and didn't let the orderers keep their customer copy receipt. - One friend ordered a double jack and coke & it cost $30 (which was the price he authorized although flabbergasted by the ridiculousness of the expense.) - When this friend checked his statement, he realized she charged more incorrectly (see photos attached - $36.40). - Friend who paid for two drinks minimum was also charged more incorrectly (photos attached). - Reason for this was because gratuity was apparently included, meanwhile this rule was not enforced upon the female friend. - Floors were disgusting and your feet stuck to them like a McDonald's bathroom. - And speaking of bathrooms, the bathrooms here were disgusting and smelled like vomit. The only good thing about this club was the music and lighting. Overall, I've been to better clubs in NYC and Miami, this place was just a disappointment. Some black security guy kicked us out because we were getting pushed around. We were exploring a new floor and were trying to get to the middle when some guy grabbed me and just took us to the exit. Even if we were a little drunk, so was everyone else. He had no authority to pull me away like that I was assaulted and i had a terrible experience. I felt discriminated as we were the only Hispanics on the second floor and were getting so many looks and were the only ones getting grabbed and kicked out. Terrible bouncers who were rude and told us we were taking up time trying to find IDs in wallet. DO NOT RECOMMEND They ruined my birthday to be completely honest. Was just trying to have fun but staff ruined it by profiling us and thinking we were drunk when all of us were good, but we're being pushed around. Some security said he was escorting us but ended up kicking us out and threatened me saying "you don't wanna argue with me" first of all at least tell us you're kicking us out. Terrible, sketchy, overpriced. After getting passed the rude bouncers who told me my ID wasnt real when in fact it was, I am 23 years old, it costs 30 bucks to get in so you can be around a bunch of sketchy dudes and weird girls. They also didnt let half of my friends in because they didnt have belt loops and then let in another group who also did not have belt loops. We arrived around 10:45 and paid $20 a person to get in. The ground floor was fairly full, but the upper levels were blocked off. The bar has a two drink minimum and expensive drinks. After hanging out for about half an hour it started to empty out. We left as well. Overall not impressed. It was very expensive and very underwhelming. read more

to the rude security guard at the private event held on Sunday 8th who said under his breath "she's so drunk" after I fell down a step on the stairs. Before judging someone really observe them and educate yourself because you don't know who you offend. I have cerebral palsy and am very lucky to be able to walk at all. But I constantly have to deal with people who comment rude judgments on me without even knowing me. I've been going to events here for years and now double think myself if I'm prepared to handle stares and nasty comments as I walk by Security and everyday people. Ive come to this club around 10 times in the past 3 years, and every time I go it gets worse. They scam you with free passes only to change the expectation on them 1 hour before you get to the club. Not worth the wait and money. This place is too Pretentious for me. 1st The club Purposely holds the line for more than an hour so your Free guess pass expires. The doormen are not kind to you (unless you're female). The bouncers are the worst I've ever encountered, one of them literally shoved me off the bar line just so they can get a drink, I guess they get 1st priority bar service which I understand but AT LEAST SAY "Excuse me." Most of all, the bartenders act like they don't want to serve you unless your in there circle. I work more than 50hrs a week and I just want a place to let loose instead of waiting in line for 55min just to pay $20 at the door. This is one of the nightclubs with that actually has good costumer service. Lets be real, most nightclubs staff are rude, is part of the environment. But this nightclub actually care. I have made bottle service reservations with Mufti a couple of times and he is always very welcoming and attentive. Security in the VIP area always make sure that you are comfortable and nobody is bothering you. And even if some misunderstanding happen the bottle service staff will make sure to co rrect anything and follow up during the next week. Everytime I feel like having bottle service this is hands down the place I choose. read more

Every time I've gone to Ultrabar I've been groped at least once. Security doesn't care. Once a guy followed me from floor to floor until I was freaked out enough that I had to leave, and security did absolutely nothing. A different guy tried to offer me cocaine to sleep with him, and there was a security guy right behind us, eyes glazed over in boredom. There are also always cops parked outside, which is uncomfortable, and probably because this place has a reputation for sexual assault. The bouncers were jerks to my trans friend. If they perceive you as a pretty woman they let you in right away, no problem, but that's not what they were doing for her. If I could give no stars I would. I'm never going back to Ultrabar; it's too sleazy, and every time I'm there I feel unsafe. I've had multiple terrible experiences at this bar. For starters, I have witnessed many racist encounters, specifically the targeting of young black men and women. I am appalled that at an 18+ club, they would be so rude and aggressive to minors. I showed then my ID and I was told to "pull out my real one" when that is quite frankly the only ID I carry. I use that ID to get into many REAL clubs in the DC area. One of the bouncers, who is there almost every weekend, has disrespected me many times and has been outwardly racist to young black men (picking them out and not allowing them to enter to with Jordan's). I find this ironic considering all jordan models are very expensive. I don't see how dirty white AF 1s should be allowed but not $200+ shoes. I think they purposely hold lines...until it's like 2 minutes away from the "free pass" end time. My friend and I got in on ladies night Saturday ad was able to get in one minute past midnight at the front door (granted...our IDs were already checked at 11:59p) for free after a female promoter allowed us in. In this case...being female helps. Probably helps more if you dress a little more skimpy. Background story I hadn't been to Ultrabar since I probably turned 22 or so. But my friend wanted to go because she had never been to one of those high energy clubs. The story: we left after 15 minutes or so. It was so crowded. I typically love crowds because of the energy that you can feed off of each other, but not when it's filled with men (read OLD MEN) grabbing you at any opportunity they can without any sort of consent. We danced on the first floor and guys would just come behind us and try to put their hands down your pants while they are grinding you. Again, without consent. It was fucking disgusting and so uncomfortable. Then on top of that, they would offer to buy pay for your drinks thinking they owe you something. And get offended when you decline their offer and won't stop following you. What I find SO DISTURBING is that I don't have an issue with this at 21+ clubs, which means these men are INTENTIONALLY stalking and PREYING on the young (and think of all the 18+ girls that pregame at home). Only for people with mental age of a 18 to 20 year old who likes to dance wasted and under the influence of drugs. Mostly everyone was smoking pot while in line. The attire like what ever ( girls on sleepers) be aware of the narrow stairs, dangerous situation. I like to dance but this place doesn't have a variety of music. Two stars because they play bachata and merengue for 10 minutes so people can potty and get more drunk.
