She showed us our baby and even gave us some I believe 3D previews even though I only went in for the 2D! It was so fun to see our baby in 3D and she said in a couple more weeks he will be even more defined! We enjoyed going in with our toddler and the experience. The staff are patient and understanding for the most part, except I do remember when I was feeling nervous before the MRI scan... they were being a tad difficult about switching to the top of my hand for inserting the IV with contrast. Like I had plenty of visible veins on the top of my hand, it's not that tricky to switch areas for inserting the IV. I have really small veins in my forearm so I hate getting IVs inserted in there, especially having my blood drawn there, it's uncomfortable. And just the general icky feeling of getting a needle inserted there, no thanks lol. It's less painful/less uncomfortable to me to have IVs inserted into my hand.

Dirty bathroom and no toilet paper. They used to keep it clean. What happened??

I believe my technician was Zaira (sorry if incorrect (spelling or name), I have preggo brain). I brought my family (about 6 of them) to view my baby girl in 4D. She made sure my family and I were comfortable during the whole procedure. Our baby was sleeping in the videos and we couldn't get the best angle of her. Zaira made sure we were satisfied with our experience so she let me walk around the mall afterwards to wake her up and get a better view. My little girl was still so very sleepy so in hopes of getting better angles we ended up getting more images that we could choose from. We loved the service and professionalism of this place. Would definitely recommend to all moms. Also, when my daughter was born she looked exactly like her 4d image! She even had the same pose.

I used to see Dr. Castellanos when I was a kid with my mom, roughly between the ages of…read more12-15(2004-2007). Now as an adult I've realized how horrendous of a doctor he was. Our family eventually stopped seeing him after 3 years of being under his care. We went to him because it was hard to find doctors who spoke Spanish in our area at the time. I'll start with the worst. My mom used to be really concerned for her health. Over time we realized her concerns were signs of what she's now developed, diverticulitis and other digestive issues. She often came in with pain and explained her concerns. Dr. Castellanos would tell my mom that she was fine and to take ibuprofen. Any time she came in it was the same thing even though her symptoms progressed - continue to take ibuprofen. Eventually she told my mom she was too worried and was a bother. We finally stopped going to see him when she used the restroom and found blood in her stool. She developed ulcers in her throat and stomach that were very painful when eating. After we stopped going to see him we found out all of her symptoms were the beginning of diverticulitis. In 2009 she ended up going to the ER because she was heavily bleeding when she used the bathroom. A diverticula had burst open and it was discovered she has 3 total that had developed. She was taken to emergency surgery. She's suffered through diverticulitis ever since with multiple ER visits. Dr. Castellanos was negligent as a doctor when presented with symptoms. He could have referred her to a gastroenterologist but never did. We had HMO at the time and eventually switched to PPO but it was after dealing with him. For my own case, I developed gastro issues around 12 and realized I had sensitivity to certain foods that lead to a lot of gas and odd noises in my intestines. I felt shy about it as a kid but was worried because I didn't want to sit in class having those noises come from my intestines because well... it was awkward. My side of the classroom could hear my gas issues and I didn't understand what was causing it. When I told him he blew me off and told me to eat more fiber. I didn't bother more about it or ask because I was too ashamed to ask more. Years later I realized I had food sensitivities and that I need to be careful to avoid dairy. All of this to say - I would absolutely NEVER recommend anyone to see Dr Castallanos. My mom could have sued him for negligence but decided not to. Seeing him still in practice now and talking to family about health made me 20 years later have to go back to write this.

Everything about this place is beautiful and comfortable, Evelyn and I have become friends since I've been coming here very early in my pregnancy and I just love everything about her office. I went to a different place prior to coming to hers and once I seen her office and quality of the photos and videos she took I knew I was going to be coming back. She is patient and respectful as well as very reassuring to any question I may have for her and she takes her time when doing the service. Watching her get excited as well when baby is active and showing himself it's really sweet to watch someone else care besides the parents because it shows she genuinely cares and loves doing what she does. She's always very communicative and responsive as well when you contact her. 1000/10 recommend her We often joke that she's my baby's aunty now because I come so often and I don't regret and visit it's always so much joy seeing my baby boy when I come see her along with a cute little therapy session. Evelyn was absolutely outstanding--extremely professional, knowledgeable, and clearly very talented at what she does. She took her time, explained everything thoroughly, and made the entire experience feel calm and reassuring. At my 26 weeks of pregnancy. And having no clue on what my baby's gender is, I was glad that Evelyn stopped by the photo studio where I work to leave by some of her flyers for her new business. And im so glad she did. She was amazing with the sessio she provided and i feel in love with all the images she was able to capture from babys hand in it's mouth to a dimple on a cheek . Appointments can be made via the website and discloses available appointment times based on each day. Currently, they ask for a credit card to be on file to hold the appointment, however the payment of the ultrasound is paid upon the visit and they only accept cash payment. Entrance to the office is the on the street side of the building, FYI because we got lost and went inside the building and had to call them. Ultrasounds are completed in a massive room, that can fit up to 10-15 people comfortably. It was just myself and my husband so we didn't use 90% of the space. The ultrasound technician was so helpful in explaining what we were looking at and even had patience when our little baby kept turning away. Since I was 17 weeks at the time of the ultrasound we did a combo of the 2D and 3D. We definitely plan on coming back once I'm 26+ weeks so we can see our baby in non-alien form.

I booked this company to do my SneakPeek gender sample collection + ultrasound. They tried two…read moretests on me and pricked me twice and weren't able to get a good sample for the gender test. Which is fine, I understand sometimes things happen. The company (Sneak Peek) offered to let me have a retest done since they weren't able to properly do it the first two times, all Bun + Oven had to do was administer the retest since that's the company I had gone through. They are saying they can't come unless I purchase another ultrasound (another $200) and there's nothing they can do. I never even received the photos from the first ultrasound they did. I'm so excited to become a new mom and really thought I could trust this company and that's why I didn't just order a test through the website. I spent over $350 with them and got nothing I paid for and they just weren't able to come to any type of resolution. I live in studio city and they're based in studio city. Just heartbreaking that people can really take what's supposed to be someone's happiest moments and make it a money grab, and I should've never trusted them. If you're thinking of doing any kind of blood draw with them I highly advise you not to.
