Wells Fargo Bank review, I applied for a personal loan and was approved,I provided all documents…read morerequested by Financial rep,all documents were legible and after the 4th time the rep advised documents were not legible so I fedex copies and yet again playing phone tag ,the rep advised documents were not legible, after going through hoops that were unnecessary, I told rep I didn't go through this on my house loan,I decided to not go with Wells fargo,I got the feeling the rep was harrowing me and lacked professional ethics, how many times do I need to fedex documents. Total unprofessional behavior. I don't see how this bank makes money with la c k of professional ethics.there are many local banks that are professional and willing to give loans to qualified individuals. FEELING HARRASED BY BANKING INSTITUTIONS IS TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL PERIOD.

In the late 1990s Wells Fargo Bank was my bank. I was asked a few simple questions that I didn't…read morehave an answer for... I was being racially profiled. I was asked "What do you spend the money on?" when I asked for a roll or quarters... and "Would you like to open a savings account with a personal banker?" I had to tell the bank teller... that I already had a savings account at a credit union... and I wasn't supposed to take so long inside the bank. I told the manager that I was asked the same questions and each time... I answered with a friendly "No,... thank you." It wasn't until I went to the other bank teller that I started getting better customer service. I was told that I wasn't welcome inside this Wells Fargo when a random stray dog (it was a German Shepherd) followed another customer into this branch in 2000. I told the bank teller that I didn't own a dog. The dog was thrown away downtown at the waterfront because it was no longer a puppy. I told the bank teller that I was going to move my account. I did eventually get an apology from a different bank teller at a different location of Wells Fargo Bank (the other location is also in Portland... but in Southeast Portland).

Great peeps, bank reps are so friendly and available if you need help to open credit, extend or talk new products, and always some themed giveaways like faux leather purses, windmills, friendship bracelets for March Madness, etc. Cafe has amazing summer free drink MLB promo Mondays and 1/2 off any bev Cap1 Visa holders. Honey Lavender is signature latte and summer sips Blueberry Ube and Matcha to keep you amped. Verve coffee beans excellent as latte vs an americano, bit too carmel Stumptown for me. Warmed ginger lemon poppyseed glazed scone $4.50 was huge, cakey crumb warm with light glaze. Prior visit, oops forgot to get a pic :( $10 hot deli roasted turkey club, bacon, cheddar, with yummy peppery arugula hit spot w brioche bun (or croissant). Sure it will hit yours too!

We had a few minutes to kill before our food tour and popped in for a Chocolate Covered Cherry Mocha, which was fantastic! Charlene the barista was super friendly (though it was odd that she didn't know the bathroom code and directed us to another member of staff) and if I was a local, I could definitely see coming in here regularly for 50% off my items and maybe getting a little bit of work done in the cafe as well. The space is bright and airy, which was nice, too.

We had automatic payment set up from an Onpoint checking account to an Onpoint auto loan. For…read morewhatever reason, the automatic payments did not go through for 3 months in a row. Frankly, we didn't notice because the account is dedicated to paying the loan, and we don't look at it all the time. Instead of contacting us immediately to let us know the payments didn't go through, they let us go on for 3 months then affected my credit report by 60 points. The customer service representatives refused to help me or reverse the report even though we always made payments previously and made the late payments as soon as we found out the originals did not go through. Which was only after looking at my credit report. They never notified us. They insist notices were sent in the mail, but we never received them. This is horrible customer service. Had we been alerted via a simple phone call, email, or message in the online banking portal, this would have been resolved immediately. Now my credit has significantly dropped, and the negative report will be on my credit for the next 7 years. Onpoint Community Credit Union needs to start contacting customers immediately when a loan payment is missed via phone call, email, and messages on the online banking portal. This used to be a great credit union; now it is worse than a big bank. We are paying the loan off early and closing our accounts with them as soon as possible. Put your money elsewhere.
