I arrived for my appointment on time and watched people who arrived after me get called back for 30 minutes. At noon, I asked the woman at the front desk if they would be able to get me in soon as my appointment was half an hour ago. She said yes, and it would just be a few minutes. Fair enough, the salon was busy. 30 MORE minutes later, they are STILL calling people back who arrived after I did. At this point, I asked the front desk again whether they would be able to get me in soon and pointed out the fact that people who arrived after me had been called back for an hour, even after I had said something once. They MISSED MY APPOINTMENT somehow, after I had been checked in, sitting in front of them, and asked the front desk TWICE when it would be time for me. They did apologize and offer a discount, but I'd prefer to find a nail salon who doesn't ignore the existence of longtime customers.

What led me to write this review was that a newer technician cured excess gel onto my skin during my Gel-X application, leaving my skin attached to my nail. This is a serious safety concern and may increase the risk of developing a gel allergy. I also left with several small cuts around my cuticles from filing, and the curing process caused significant burning. I wish I had spoken up during my appointment, but I hope the owner takes this feedback seriously and places greater emphasis on safer application practices moving forward. I was greeted warmly when I walked in the door and was introduced to Dom, who did my eyebrows. My brows had been previously over waxed and were uneven when I came in. Dom took her time with my brows, was super nice and made them even again! She did a beautiful job. My gel mani also looked great and lasted a little over two weeks. I will definitely be back!
