Where do I even begin? This place is truly amazing! Everything I have gotten done here has been great! Eyebrows, nails, hair, makeup - you name it, the people and service are the best I have ever encountered. Fluhme is great for your everyday salon visit, but they really excel when it comes to Bridal Services! Carly did my makeup for my wedding (on May 20th) and I was absolutely blown away. She is so friendly and makes you feel comfortable right away. I knew I could trust her with my makeup because she is super knowledgeable, confident and talented . She gives you her full attention and is very precise with her work. When I looked in the mirror, I was amazed at how flawless my makeup was, and it stayed like that the entire day. I received so many compliments about my makeup the day of the wedding, so I knew I made the right choice with Carly! She also did my mom's and bridesmaid's makeup and they all looked fabulous! Arynne did my hair and all of my bridal party's. We all were pleased with what she did, especially with all of our different hair textures, lengths and styles. She took her time with all of our hair and was willing to correct or redo, if needed. Arynne is also super friendly and easy to get along with, which is an asset when you are spending most of your wedding day morning with someone. Carly and Arynne make an excellent team! Gabby and Angela did our nails for the wedding, as well! Both girls are great and they make your experience at the salon very relaxed and enjoyable. Overall, I would recommend this salon to anyone! I made an appointment last month at Fluhme Glam bar for a brow wax and a shellac manicure. The salon is super clean and decorated beautifully. I was greeted warmly when I walked in the door and was introduced to Dom, who did my eyebrows. My brows had been previously over waxed and were uneven when I came in. Dom took her time with my brows, was super nice and made them even again! She did a beautiful job. My gel mani also looked great and lasted a little over two weeks. I will definitely be back! Thrilled ! My hostess recommended and make an appointment for me. I had just arrived from evacuating Florida. Tired, stress and numb Trish Polished my toes and revamped my hands- best skilled nail experience of my life. my nails feel the best evertrish was a doll, pretty, clean and quiet. I was shellshocked my nails have never felt better. She didn't use a drill and was so professional. at the end when I asked how much she said "no charge"the American spirit lives on !!!! Got my make-up and hair done here for my wedding and for a friend's wedding. Couldn't recommend this place enough. For my wedding, I had Christina (I think she's at the mount lebo) location now, and I appreciated the fact that she didn't try to talk me into having air brushed make-up. She took the time to hear what kind of skin type I had, and took that into consideration rather than posh me into anything. Whatever you do, don't say the "B" word. Ya know....Bridal? I went to Fluhme because my original hair salon I scheduled my hair appointment at for my wedding decided to close. Let me set the stage for you so you have a picture at how ridiculous this experience was for me. 1. My fiance insisted on having a small wedding as opposed to the JP, so I'm someone who couldn't be any further from bridezilla when it comes to micromanaging details and stressing out about everything. 2. My wedding party consists of myself, the groom, maid of honor and best man. 3. I planned to come to the salon to have my hair done on a saturday morning. Seems pretty simple, right? One hair style where the bride comes to you. Sounds like a standard saturday morning appointment in ever so humble opinion. Well, let me tell you! The minute I said the "B" word, there were contracts and deposits and all KINDS of nonsense that goes along with a simple, low maintenance braided hairstyle when it comes to this place. One other hilarious tidbit about this place. They charge double to get services with Tiffany. According to Carly, she doesn't accept appointments. How does that look? It could be just me, but putting an option on the menu to have your services done by someone who doesn't work in the salon anymore since she has more important things to do, seems really disingenuous. Carly said "I don't know why they don't just take her name off of the menu". Well, for what they charge for their services, affordability can't possibly be the issue. TL;DR - If you say the word bridal, expect to be treated like you're a cash cow. Advice to management: if there is a bride who is *coming* to your salon to have her hair done and she's not lugging around a party of high maintenance women to your salon blocking up your staff and entire morning, don't treat her like she's a contract unless she requests. Simple fact of the matter is: you don't charge a deposit or expect a contract to be signed by any of your other saturday morning appointments, so the "what if you cancel" excuse simply does not fly. If a bride for some reason isn't having her wedding and she cancels at the last minute, the last thing she needs from you is to be charging her out the wazoo because she said the oh so profitable "B" word. She has bigger problems, and doesn't need you preying on her. If she intends on blocking up your entire afternoon and all of your staff, I completely see the reason for the contract. But this is simply predatory in a solo appointment situation. May I suggest a minimum head requirement for bridal contracts? Three or more seems fair. P.S. and the blank contract you sent was exactly that. Blank. White page and no words. Thanks. read more

The Glam Bar was recommended to me by a friend. It clean and nicely decorated and all of the ladies were extremely friendly and helpful. I got a gel manicure and regular pedicure and my technician was very nice and thorough. However, she was unable to do a french manicure or pedicure, which is not a huge deal, but I would have liked to know that ahead of time. My biggest complaint is that my gel manicure chipped 2 days after getting it done and my pedicure chipped 3 days after. I had an entire nail lift and peel off within 7 days. Overall the place is very nice and seems like a great spot, but I do not think I will be returning. read more

The girls who work there, from the front desk to each stylist, go above and beyond to make sure that you have a great experience. For my wedding in November, I had my hair done by Chelsea and makeup by Domonique...and everything was perfect! My hair turned out to be absolutely beyond expectations - Chelsea did a great job of listening to exactly what I wanted at my trial and noting the few things to modify for my big day. It was the perfect all-day style, I couldn't be happier!! My makeup by Domonique was also so wonderful that at my trial I bought a few GlamBar products like the eyebrow pencil and lipstick/lip liner that she used - after seeing how great it looked, I couldn't pass them up! Domonique gave me the brows I wish I had, while still looking natural! It made me feel so beautiful and confident, which is exactly what I'd hoped for. I highly recommend the girls at Fluhme GlamBar for your wedding beauty needs. Tiffany and Carly and the girls were so good to me and I could not be more grateful!!!
