Yes, that's a lot of money, but when something is this well put together, very well worth the price in my opinion. And when you're spending that much, any sin gets pointed out in great detail. We also had to remind him to bring out the rest of our meal, which he had forgotten. He was completely indifferent, no token apology, nothing. And because of where we were seated, he had to walk past us to every other table, yet he still managed to forget we were there. We requested a new server, but by then we were almost finished our meal. I've been to France. The servers there are the best in the world. "F" was the worst. He really soured our experience. My wife started to put away the mug into her bag. The employee decided to clarify that if they ever notice that we are sneaking the mug out of the bag, then we will be kicked out of the restaurant. I loved that it also came with a side of thick cut bread and pickled vegetables. One of the best charcuterie boards I've had at a restaurant for sure. Lafarge, Hubert Lamy, Leflaive, Mugneret-Gibourg, Some excellent lower yield & early accessible vintages like the 2019. Not many bottles are older than 10 years, but a number of suppliers provide pretty much the rarest new stuff available in the region. Cold cuts, sardines and cheese served, the place is full of young young, smiling people listening to unobtrusive music. Make sure you find the stairs from the street level to get here. Oh, and they have Les Robarts by Suenen. I had to visit four wine stores in Champagne to get two bottles of that. Good luck finding that anywhere else.
