Its a bit pricy but I think you can get passes at safeway for cheaper, not sure if covid ruined that too... Due to the pandemic, we needed to make a timed reservation in advance, which was great to ensure that it wouldn't be crazy crowded. $10 for the car, which I feel is reasonable. Upon arrival, we checked in at registration with staff who were super helpful and friendly. We then visited with Santa and Mrs. Clause. And we got complimentary hot chocolate, cider, and mochas. Then we hopped on the wagon where a tractor drove us down the lane to a spot with lots of great noble firs - we found one that was exactly the height we needed. All we had to do was cut it down and then drag it a short distance to a drop-off spot where it would be picked up and brought to the front for us. We hopped back on the wagon, went back to the front for more hot chocolate, then we met with our baled tree and paid. Staff helped us put it on our car. All in all, this place was a well-oiled machine of efficiency and our kids had a great time. We will definitely come back again next year.

There are five floors with Regal Cinemas on the top floor and food court at the lower floor. In food court, they have Din Tai Fung. Since Oregon has no sales tax, this mall is popular destinations for tourist, saving them some extra dollars. As we explored the mall, it looked clean and well maintained. In the common area there was a nice water fountain. The food court space wasn't too exciting other than it had DTF. All the stores we went had friendly staff. Security personnels walk around the mall to keep it safe. But outside the mall building, the surroundings are not as secure, so I suggest do all the shoppings during the day time.

I was in Scandinavia last year around this time so this annual event coinciding with my visit to Portland was quite serendipitous. The ScanFair branded way-finding signs directing people to the Hall where the event was held were well placed all over the convention center so it was easy to find the correct hall. It was quite lovely getting to people watch and see people from the Scandinavian community interacting with one another. The music and dance performances were probably my favorite part of the event. There was an activity station for children to do crafts which made me wish they had something similar set up for adults HA! There were a lot of booths with exhibitors selling all kinds of things. There were also plenty of food options as well. We stocked up on baked goods and enjoyed our time at the event walking around and checking out all the Scandinavian goods.
