The sandwich that I ordered was a 'build your own' sandwich on Kaiser bread which was $6.50. I added turkey, tomatoes, their oil/dressing mix, and mayo on the side. The German Kaiser sandwich was a delicious second lunch for me after 3:30pm (the lunch I ate earlier in the day which I prepared at home was very light). Since my below review in 2019, I still love Michael's Bakery and I wish I lived closer to the business. While they may not be one of those "fancier" bakeries, they are still very good. Never judge a book by its cover (including inside appearance). The outside ("cover") building is simple which is fine since it tied into the neighbourhood (Brooklyn) that the bakery is located in. I'll definitely be back. I normally visit every 3-4 months.
