Large Detroit style with pepperoni and mushrooms
Liz P.

I used to frequent their Clawson location because it's pretty close to me, unfortunately it closed a few years back. This location came up on Doordash and is only 10 minutes from my boyfriend's house, so we decided to try pickup on DoorDash yesterday. They have a deal online for $22.99 for a large pizza plus the triple cheese bread, we had a DoorDash promotion that made it a little cheaper than that but that's a pretty good price in general. I really love their Chicago style pizzas here but I figured we could try the Detroit one. Buddy's is the gold standard for us for Detroit pizza and this was pretty close to that, IMO. The triple cheese bread was also really great. They have quite a large area for seating as well which surprised me because the Clawson location was mostly just takeout. I saw on their website they have a deal on Mondays and Tuesdays for $12.99 for a large pizza with one or two toppings I think and that's a pretty good deal as well. Overall very pleased with this location and I will be back at some point.

Large Square Pepperoni Pizza
Amber P.

Good square, deep dish pizza. It was hot and fresh - perfectly made with each slice having at least 3 pepperonis. The thunder sticks were larger than expected, but delicious. Fluffy with a clean amount of butter and cheese. The dining room area was spacious with several new flat screens and some claw games for the kids.

Pulled pork pizza ($9.99 small square pizza). Delish!
Jen J.

4.5 stars, would need to try more for higher. Brother recommended us getting the pulled pork pizza ($9.99 small square pizza). Being a red/white sauce pizza lover, I was a bit skeptical about a bbq-sauced pizza, but Uncle Andy's outperformed my expectations by a wide margin. Caramelized cheese to the pan-baked crust. Pillowy bread. The pulled pork was on point with even some crispy pieces reminiscent of crackly bacon bits. Good marriage of toppings-to-bread. So good that I ate 3 pieces when I was full at 2. Will be back xD

The medium supreme. Lots of toppings, not a lot of flavor. Fair pizza at best.

A bit on the pricey end, but honestly, the flavor is so good, it's almost justified bc other places don't come close. Ambiance is okay. It's functional. Nothing amazing about the ambiance, but it has a rather large dining room where it's a nice place to host a family dinner or a larger gathering/party/shower, etc. They have a nice buffet during weekday lunch hours. You won't be disappointed bc you can try a bunch of pizzas with various toppings and make a salad from the salad bar as well! The large pizza is VERY large and cut in an artistic style, not your typical triangular slices. We've served this pizza at various birthday parties and it's always a hit with guests. Service could be a bit more personable, but it kind of depends who you get at the desk. Pizza is fantastic. I'd say it's in the top three places I've tried nationwide. Best was in NYC at a place called Astoria (I believe.) 2nd was in MPLS at Punches Pizza and this one is THE BEST PIZZA PLACE IN THE DETROIT-METRO AREA.

The regular place has no seating except benches to wait for your food, but you can go to the Gift of India Cafe two doors down and there is seating there. There are non-vegetarian, vegetarian, and I believe there are also vegan options per the sign on their door. The pizza option comes in two sizes: medium and large. I don't believe they have a 'personal' size and are not by the slice either. The large is HUGE, I recommend getting half and half of flavors to try them. The dough is soft, not too thick and not too thin, and they will ask if you want their spicy and green sauces with cilantro on top. I recommend it for flavor and aesthetic purposes! We got the chicken tikka and chicken 65 for our half and half large pizza. We also wanted a vegetarian option and thus opted for the Paneer tikka wrap/ rolls. The rolls can come as 2 rolls per order. The rolls are also packed with product and flavor, and they are wrapped with paratha which was buttery and held itself up well. The pizza was everything and more! The cafe area was not busy when we came and had a good amount of seating in it. The cafe area is clean and has a little mural wall featuring Indian food staples on it. There are both high and regular height chairs/ tables to sit in.

My favorite was the chicken wrap, especially alongside the pani puri. We also got a lamb bowl, it was decent, just not my favorite flavor-wise, but still good if you enjoy lamb. They were out of chicken masala, which I definitely want to come back and try. Only one gal was working, had lots of orders coming in but she was nice. Inside, there wasn't a sitting area or tables, but we got it togo so wasn't a big deal for us. Prices weren't too bad, but I've had better overall. I'd rate it a 3.5/5.

Those are so good. The crust was nice and the filling delicious. If nothing else, come here and order those, it is so unique, most places do not offer a potato based pizza. The inside of the restaurant was nicely decorated, even though parts of the floor was sticky. Fortunately it wasn't very busy at all. There was only one other table seated at that time. We sat down and everybody ordered their drinks and food. Although our waitress was nice and accommodating, it took an extremely long time for the food to come out, so not sure what the hold up was in the kitchen. The pizzas eventually came out but the burgers didn't come out until at least 15 minutes later. After everybody got their food that's when I decided to order the wings appetizer for myself. Soon as I ordered, that's when I started noticing some interesting things. More people were walking in and sitting at tables YET there was still only ONE waitress! She was taking orders and bartending behind the bar! Our table alone had 10 people. At this point there were at least 3 other tables with varies party sizes as well as 2 people sitting at the bar. She was trying to move as quickly as possible but she was only one person. Not sure how yall do staffing but she needed help! Then suddenly towards the end of our table finishing their food, I see two more employees magically pop up. Not sure if they were in the back cooking or what. One started helping out at the bar and bringing out boxes of pizza. The other disappeared back in the kitchen. Mind you, it had been over 45 minutes and I still hadn't receive my wings. Everybody was boxing up the remainder of their food. The waitress apologized, took the wings off the bill, and gave me a large amount of wings in a to go container. Even though I was very hungry, I appreciated the compensation. Uno in Farmington Hills needs to do SIGNIFICANTLY better with the quantity of their staffing! It definitely took a toll on our visit and made it less enjoyable.
