Five stars without a doubt! Typically, when you move to a new area you have to try out multiple places before finding someone who can/will cut your hair the way you like it. Nearly unheard of in my experience to get someone who does it on the first visit. Christen cut my hair exactly how I wanted it on the first visit. I immediately stopped looking for new shops right then and there. Her skills are great, she's also a kind person and professional. Highly recommend! As for the shop, I also recommend! I've never come in without being greeted. They offer you a beverage while you wait or during your appointment. It's been clean every time I've been in and they have a few TV's if you're waiting or even during your appointment. I haven't purchased any of the products, just services. The online booking system is easy to use and I've never once had an issue with being overbooked or incorrect pricing. This is a great barbershop! Waste of time and energy dealing with them. Extremely pretentious and overpriced for what you get. I was gifted a $250 gift card, and they wouldn't let me tip using the card. The haircut was horrible at best. I tried to give them a chance again, but the nasty receptionist wouldn't take walk-ins. Ethan just completely ignored my son's instructions, then I literally had to ask him to not cut anymore off. It is a shame when you cannot trust the person cutting hair to listen to the customer. I have been a client for over three years new management took over and they are very prejudice and if you have to cancel an appointment they will hold it against you and will not allow you to come back. Wanted to hate... Not my vibe AT ALL. I am a low maintenance, no fuss man. My girl requested my dealing with my upkeep of my appearance. Shelby was the perfect ambassador for this process. She was funny, quirky, caring, and very good at her job. She got me from the get go and catered her entire manner to my sensibility. Its like finding the best bartender that is great because they get that you, like them, have something to offer. Cannot say enough about this gem of a young woman. This has been my barbershop for 2 years, and I've been pleased with the place and the service. I've seen a couple of different barbers and eventually settled on Sandra. She took notes on how I liked my haircut and would remember me on subsequent visits. Every now and then, they have pretty good promotional deals. I'm currently signed up for unlimited cuts for 3 months, just $80. The place is clean and has a sleek look. People are nice. I'd recommend trying them out. read more

This place definitely has its act together. You can schedule an appointment online, and they have a wide array of available barbers at convenient times. The facility itself is very tastefully appointed, and has the "feel" of a truly old fashioned barber shop. You're greeted soon after walking through the door, and they offer you something to drink while you're waiting. My barber today was Joanne, who did a fantastic job. She has an extensive background as a barber, including a stint at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. This is especially valuable as I prefer super short lengths on the back and side of my scalp. As it happens, my hair is not easy to cut. But Joanne is extremely talented and is super meticulous in the way she approachs your hair. Unlike other establishments where they simply give me a quick buzz with clippers and send me on my way, she takes her time to make sure everything is perfect. This place is a little more pricey than other shops, but so very worth it. You get what you pay for, and this place delivers the quality that you expect. read more

BEWARE OF THEIR ONLINE APPOINTMENT SCHEDULER THROUGH THE WEBSITE!!! I had scheduled an appointment for Saturday January the 9th online through the website. After about 30 min I tried to reschedule do to a schedule change. Their online system would not allow me too. I then scheduled for a later time in the day. My haircut and shampoo was $32 plus tip. But they ended up charging me for the earlier appointment at $28. I spoke with Sandra the manager about the situation and she said she would not refund me and it wasn't policy. I have had my haircut their 10 TIMES at over $30 a haircut and she would not help me out. I WILL NOT be going back and giving my hard earned money to a business that doesn't even help out their loyal customers. It's not like it was my first time or I didn't even get a haircut that day. I love Uncle. I have been here, left and come back. I am never leaving again. The staff is well trained, has continuing education classes and they know how to take care of customers. I get a get style, wash and neck shave. Yes, a neck shave with a straight razor and hot cream! Feels great. My only complaint is they don't handle the phones well. Probably the price of success. Only reviewing the shaving part I can't really comment on the hair styling aspects. I was given a straight shave as a gift and went there. It was relaxing but most of the shave was with a vibrating Gillette. I didn't have the torn up face another reviewer did, but in the end I could have done it myself. Took forever. I will say, I enjoyed the place, but the gift card didn't cover the shave, and all in all value for the dollar was low. Time for the dollar was decent. The shaver was quite nice. I don't recommend Stephanie. I went in telling her I have grown my hair out for a months, and would like to keep the length. She had me turned around in chair, and just cut it into a basic short haircut. I had no idea what happened until she turned me around at the end. Moving back to Nashville, 1 of the first places I checked for familiar face(s) was Uncle's. Kate has years of experience and a great personality. I enjoy our conversations each month catching up on life, the NFL, and whatever else is on the TV. She genuinely cares as she remembers my preferences, but we take a few minutes each visit to determine if it's the best or do we adjust by 1/2 or 1 clip based on my upcoming commitments, weather, etc. Ease of self booking online and complimentary beverage are just a few additional bonuses that enrich my visits. read more

First time today - They're open Sunday! Forest Morris gave me a great cut. I will definitely return to Uncle and work around his schedule for cut, wash, and the occasional shave. Complimentary drink is an awesome little perk to the place. Standard cut gets you a straight razor on the neckline. Place is nice, clean, and well taken care of. Not only is this a great place from the standpoint of customer service and comfort, as well as the little extras like a beverage of my choice and a neck shave; but Jo is a remarkably talented barber/stylist. They should have her teach a master class to the rest of their team. My hair looks as good as it's ever looked and I'm feeling confident going into Super Bowl Sunday.
