It was decorated in cute farmhouse decor mixed with a cozy country feeling and was giving me some fun Mexican vibes. As our server was giving us a run down of the specials, she mentioned they have special date nights dedicated to serving only Mexican dishes and tasty margaritas! We'll have to come back to try it! As for the breakfast we had, it was served quite promptly, despite being busy. My husband had the chicken fried steak with scrambled eggs and hash brown. It was one of the best he had! He asked for extra crispy hash browns and it was made perfectly! I had a simple breakfast of easy over eggs and bacon. It was quite delicious! Our server was very friendly and warm. They had a couple of people walking around making sure our drinks were always full. I highly recommend this cute cafe and will definitely be coming back!

Biz was my server and is the nicest! Lynn, also the nicest Manager, stopped by to check on things as well. Even Anson, the chef stepped out to check on things! I had the blueberry pancakes with eggs and bacon...delicious! The pancakes were deceiving... they had a ton of blueberries inside! Bacon crispy. Eggs large and cooked perfectly. Look forward to making Amelia's my regular breakfast stop gong forward, and meeting Amelia in the future. Highly recommend...great food...great service!

The interior is fairly basic, although it is clean and tidy. With plenty of natural light, wooden accents, and vaguely Scandanavian decor, it's a lovely spot to meet up with small groups. They also have a few patio tables. The staff were friendly and helpful during our visit. The offerings range from traditional swedish and Scandanavian desserts to more American donuts. If you're into something sweet, there's likely something for you here. I was missing a savory pastry option, which was what I was craving! I didn't indulge in any coffee during this visit! The Cinnamon Bun was delicious!

Well known as the town with the teapot water tower just north of Forest Lake. Along with a tasty lunch in Chisago. Places and things we checked out included lots of cute local shops and of course some sweet treats! @thelindstrombakery was worth the trip on its own We tried a variety of things and got some take home goodies. Swedish Almond Cookies (so. darn. good. Had to get some for later) ALL of their donuts were so fresh and light. Highly recommend getting yourself here for treats. Each item we tried was accompanied by slow chewing, serious glances and closed eyes of bliss. Uffdah what a fun day! Hoping everyone can find some Hygge in your days.
