The ONLY reason I came here was to see George Orr who is a tribute singer for Rod Stewart. Let me say, George and his show are 5-star. Hat's off to his wife as well. When you walk in, the hallway is very impressive with a hostess desk. Restaurant lighting is dim, but sexy and appealing. Small bucket for after dinner mints upon leaving. White linen tablecloths, with black linen napkins. Then, you sit down in very comfortable seating. We had a table, not a booth. And here I notice, a white paper on top of the linen tablecloth. For a moment I thought I was in Joe's Stone Crabs. I'm like do they not serve plates here? What's going on. And it wasn't just our table, it was all of them. I guess it cuts down on the dry cleaning bill. Well, that just cheapened the place up. Lost one star right there. You pay a $10 cover charge for the entertainment (well worth the price).......and nowhere is it written until you order that you have to order an entree. Reservations are a must, so they say. I saw a party of 6 get seated with no reservations. However, if you make a reservation and cancel, you MUST cancel within 3 days of the show or get smacked with a $20 cancellation fee. (Sorry Eddie, but that's crazy). Damn, another star is gone. If the place is sold out I can understand, the night we were there which was Thursday, May 16th, 2019 the place was half empty. You can't just order their overpriced appetizers. That part I don't get because they are way overpriced like the rest of their food. I must say, it depends on what you're looking for. If you're looking to impress, come here. During the summer the food is 40% off. With the discount, it's worth the trip. I ordered a Berkshire Pork Chop topped with sweet and spicy vinegar peppers (they were divine), served over broccoli rabe ( they served me spinach which I hate), and roasted potatoes ( I am on a diet and asked if I could sub extra greens, I was told sure when I got the dinner it had 2 small potatoes cut in half) Since I hate spinach I just ate the potatoes. The meal cost was $32 summer special price was $20. $20 is tolerable. I'd been ticked if I paid $32 for that. I'm on a diet that's why I didn't want the potatoes. I was a little taken back when the waiter told me the restaurant recommends the PORK chop cooked medium well with a little pink in the center. Certain cuts it's OK, but pork should be cooked completely. Sorry fella's, not taking any chances. Was delicious, and those red peppers were yummy!!!!. They do serve what looked like a delicious assortment of bread with dipping oil. The others at the table liked the bread. My wife is a vegetarian, this place is NOT vegetarian-friendly. She wanted to order two appetizers and was told for the show she has to order an entree. Again, no mention until we sat down. Wife ordered Melanzane Rollentini which was one thin slice off the eggplant rolled around some ricotta. And the waiter should have mentioned there was meat in the sauce. The Cleansing she had the next day was a telltale sign of meat. When you don't eat meat for close to 15 years it has a special effect on you. Regular price was $14, another crazy price. Also, she ordered a salad Insalata Tre Colori which contains Arugula, Endive, Radicchio, Granny Smith matchsticks, Toasted Pine Nuts, Goat Cheese, with Lemon Oil Vinaigrette for a whopping $14. Trust me, those two meals were nothing. Even with the summer price of ($8.40 each order) $16.80, she should have been full. The other two people ordered Scaloppini Di Vitello with Pasta and vegetable of the day (that dish you expect Spinich) $28/ summer price $16.80. They were pleased, and even took home part of what they didn't eat. For dessert, our other two diners ordered the flourless cake with a dollop of whipped cream $11/ Summer price $6.60 which is what it should be priced at. We also ordered a bottle of wine. They have a very good wine list, no summer prices on wine. I thought for what they serve the bottle prices were in order. I'm a little critical of the prices only because I am a retired Restaurant owner. I've owned two Italian restaurants and always gave good value, excellent service, and quality food. I expect the same when I go out to eat. It's not always the case. I understand Uncle Eddie's has a large overhead. High rent as well. The summer prices, in my book, make it well worth it. I would come back if they were a little more vegetarian-friendly. read more

Excellent food in this newly opened Italian Ristorante. Service is good for being open only 3 weeks, give it a few more days and expect it to be excellent as well. We were meeting friends that live in Port St Lucie and we live in Boynton and were looking for a place half way that had music. I read a whole bunch of reviews, some really bad. I think they went to a different restaurant. This place was amazing. Food was Amazing. We had the veal parm, which is the tenderest veal I have ever had, a scallop special with risotto, spectacular, and a snapper dish, really really good. The drinks were liberally poured and not overpriced. Music just perfect, not too loud, and all different people singing. To top it all off there was the staff, our waitress Rosalita was the bomb. So much personality and attentiveness, such a pleasure. My only negative and its a small one was the bread, because if I loved the bread I wouldn't have been able to eat my whole meal. My husband and I had wanted to check out Uncle Eddies for quite some time. We got a same day reservation. We were quickly seated and our drink order was taken. Wine was a generous pour! Appetizer...We were interested in the table side Caesar Salad for 2, but at $25 it was a bit steep so we decided to split that salad for one. We were very disappointed in its taste and appearance. The lettuce was discolored and it was a very small serving even for a single serving, the people seated across from us also bought the same salad for one and their portion was significantly larger but it also had discolored lettuce. Also ours came with only 1 anchovie! We have NEVER gotten a Caesar salad with only 1 anchovie ever. My husband and I purchased two entrees, veal Parmesan (could use more melted cheese) and chicken Frances, both were delicious, but the sides were not portioned equally. My pasta was more than sufficient but my husband's portion was 1/2 of mine. Vegetables were underwhelming. We didn't hang around for dessert. We had dinner tonight at Uncle Eddie's. As usual the food was excellent, the service was exceptional. Rosalina was our server. She is in total control, our wines came out with our dinner, there was enough time between the appetizers and the dinners. She pays extra attention to her diners. Tonight the entertainment was Atilo, an Italian signer. He did not disappoint. Eddie loves to sing too. He is a great host, who pays attention to his guests. When you're dining in an Italian "ristorante" and they offer you cheese for your clam sauce.... RUN! This place was so tacky it was comical. Asked for the Ceaser salad and was told by the server "honestly I won't be able to make that table side for you for at least another 35 minutes".....huh? Had to ask for bread which eventually appeared at the same time as the meal. All of this midweek in the off season. At least if the food was decent some of these transgressions could be overlooked. After eating the food here I must say that the collective four star reviews for Uncle Eddie's was incredibly misleading. The menu is limited which we thought was a good thing. The price was on the high end which we thought would be acceptable pending a meal worth the $100 price tag. Nothing was acceptable about this meal or any of the dishes. The sauces were watery and lacked any texture or flavor. The pasta, to which we ordered a variety, was all over cooked. Extremely frustrated and disappointed with this place. I would suggest finding a much better meal a few doors down at the Publix sub shop. I would have much rather spent that amount of money on something that was delicious and satisfying as a Publix sub. I'd give 2 1/2 stars, I just wish the staff and food would be a higher level. I love the location, clientele, ambiance and the music, but the food and wait staff is more like a chain restaurant (Carrabba's or Olive Garden). I've been here many times since it's so close to my house, but the restaurant is really inconsistent providing quality meals. Just came from Christmas dinner there, and it was Repulsive!!! They said No to making accomodations for me as a vegan, and since they had no vegetables on the menu, all I could have was a plate with 1-cup of lettuce sitting in 1/2 cup of some fowl-tasting, un-identifiable oil (no vinegar or lemon or anything else), with a tablespoon of pine nuts on it. I didn't want the other people at my table to feel bad, so I forced myself to eat the disgusting lettuce and oil. Leaving the restaurant I couldn't get the nasty taste of the fowl oil out of my mouth so I had to go through 8 pieces of gum to get the taste out. Now I have to cook for myself. My son just asked if I could cook something for him too because the portion size they gave him was so small. Our bill was extremely over-priced on top of that! When we first walked in the owner was a very friendly greeter, except he was waaay-wrong when he was bragging that we would deinitely return. read more

This authentic Italian restaurant was recommended to us earlier that afternoon. We were skeptical at first, because when you think of Italian, you think of CARBS... lots and lots of pasta, which we are trying to stay away from. But we were pleasantly surprised when we saw the menu! Plenty of beef and chicken options and, if you don't like the options, they'll cater to your taste! But, ok, let's back up! This restaurant is in a shopping plaza next to Publix, so it's easy to find and there's plenty of parking! You also have the option to valet on specific nights. There was no wait during the dinner hour on Sunday evening, so we got to choose where we wanted to sit. Options include at the bar, at a table, or in a booth. Our waiter was quick to wait on us and was extremely knowledgable of the menu. He was very attentive but not overwhelming.. so upset i can't remember his name, ugh! Our food was prepared beautifully and done exactly to our liking. The chicken was cooked tender and fresh. We were very pleased with our experience at Uncle Eddie's and we will DEFINITELY be back and I highly recommend this restaurant. read more
