Everything was great, food, ambiance and service. We had gone one a few years back during a very busy night, maybe Mother's Day or Valentine's Day, our bad. We were seated in what felt like an alleyway in the back. We have eaten at their sister restaurant Barcello and enjoyed our experiences very much. The take-away: This may be an Italian restaurant but is it really Italian-owed? The whole experience felt overpriced and the restaurant was cost-cutting over quality. I explain below: Firstly, the positive: *the ambiance was very nice. *the bread is very very good. Beautiful crisp outside and fluffy inside. *you can tell the chefs are highly trained Constructive criticism: *The portion sizes are small for what you are paying. *They need to train their waiters better. Invest in them. I asked questions you would expect, such as "what is popular here?" and "what are you known for?" The waitress didn't know. She also forgot to put in our to-go order. I got the special the Branzino. Beautifully presented, delicious. Overpriced for portion and the fried potatoes, broccoli I could make at home. Why am I paying that much for that? I don't want to spend that much on pasta that is easy to make: just boiled in water with a quick prepped sauce-- for this price, I expect the pasta is home-made or sourced from high quality Italian manufacturer. Only the tagliatelle is house made. I want my waitress to be able to tell me: Where the pasta came from -- Italy?, is it slow-dried? Where did the olive oil come from? When were the olives picked in the season? For their prices, I expect this detail! That's the tier they are in. The burrata, my appetizer had arugula that some tasted like dirt. I don't know why-- was it washed well? How can they prevent this? The waitress told me all the desserts are made in house. Maybe they are? But I was disappointed. The tiramisu didn't really taste like a traditional tiramisu. Was it whipped cream? Was it very lightly whipped buttercream? I didn't taste much coffee flavor. Was there mascarpone? It looked like it had mostly the easy to make, cheap whipped cream top. All in all, I am not sure if I will come back. Maybe a couple times to try something different. Just to see if my complaints are consistent. Italian restaurants especially pricy ones-- you expect passion, sourced ingredients, informed waiters. Those weren't there. read more

Ambiance was wonderful. Place was packed. Love their 1/2 price entree for summer specials: just need to order before 6pm. Calamari was season perfectly. My entree was very tasty. They have quite an extensive wine menu. Our friend ordered the pork chops, which came out dry, but they kindly took it off the bill. I totally think they need to add some ice cream to their chocolate cake dessert but otherwise the cake and mousse were tasty! Great service! Very attentive! read more

Limoncello is a beautiful destination. The dining room is classy and the bar is happening. Of course ordering the Limoncello Martini is a must, happiness in a glass. The beet salad is top notch. I would go back just for this, and same with the meatballs. Some of the best I've ever had. The special of the day was the black truffle pasta which was delicious. Wonderful meal spoiled by incompetent management. What should be 4.5 and up restaurant belongs in the sub 3 range maybe 2.0. Was eating dinner at the bar when a lady with a dog strolled in and sat next to me. Bartender let the dog stay there at plate level not on the ground. Classy. Since I wasn't going to eat with a dog I asked for the bill. Then they had to adjust the bill since my dish was not included in the special- something they neglected to tell me when I ordered. I found Limoncello on Open Table when looking for restaurants in the Jupiter area. It is off PGA Blvd in a shopping center/office park. I'm glad we had GPS guiding us because there weren't any signs to point us in the right direction. There is valet parking as well as a parking lot. There's a bar area with TVs when entering the restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating overlooks the parking lot. The past several restaurants we have visited have put the two of us at a four top. At Limoncello, we were put at a table for two that seemed tiny. In fact, having the large menus made it difficult to maneuver at the table. In the hour we were there, I observed a few other couples being seated at the tables for four so I guess it would have been an option if I'd requested moving to a larger table. Diego C was our server. We had the Pasta of the Day special and the Lasagna Bolognese- each was $36. We didn't order an appetizer. We were given a bread basket with three slices of good crusty bread to eat with the olive oil already on the table. I will never understand why a restaurant does not provide an even number of items to make sharing easier- why 3 pieces of bread for 2 people instead of 4? We had a Michelob Ultra $8 and a Diet Coke $6. $86 for dinner plus tax and tip for a grand total of $108.79. That seems expensive for an average dinner with average service in an average setting. read more

Celebrated a milestone at the long awaited Lemoncello. Had a 5pm reservation and this was an epic experience. Stephen our waiter was on point - he was on his game with the rest of the staff. We started with the eggplant rollitini (no pic sorry). Entrees were the grilled salmon with garlic broccoli and potatoes and the homemade sausage with ear pasta. My husband and I have been regulars at Limoncello for years. We waited almost an hour for our dinner last night at the bar. Everyone around us were served meals in a timely manner. When we finally asked Devon about our meal, we were told " everything is made fresh, and it takes a long time to pound the chicken". There was never an apology for the wait, and once we were served our meal she never asked how everything was or acknowledged us in any manner. This isn't the first time we have had an unpleasant experience with Devon. She is rude and condesending. We won't be back. We were celebrating moms 70th. Mom had the veal and limoncello martini she said it was good, brother in law got spicy pasta. Said $40 the portion was pretty small - expected bigger, husband got crab pasta i thought was ok he said was good. And i got beef carpaccio whixh was NOT GOOD. I dunno why everyone loves this place, we've been here twice and the food is ok but just misses the mark for me. The limoncello salad is simply overwhelmed by walnuts and blue cheese with not much else. The shrimp francese had barely any sauce, served with whipped potatoes instead of pasta. The veal and chicken parm were very salty, lacked a balance of acidity from the lack of tomato sauce. Hubs veal chop was the best but again not enough sauce. read more

We've been going Limoncello for years. The last 3 times we sat at the bar and each time it hasn't been the same. Aside from prices going up considerably, the service has been disappointing. Each time our bartender was Devon. She comes off nice at first but then ignores you as you wait for your meal. Last night it took over an hour to get our food. She never came over to us to apologize even after we asked "what's taking so long?" When we finally got our entree she never acknowledged my wife and I. She had an attitude and doesn't appear to care one way or another. The food is always good but the service will keep us away moving forward. We went to celebrate the Birthday of a friend at Limoncello. We didn't ask for it but they sat us in a private dining room and it was amazing, it was classy, cosy, quiet and comfortable. Our server Kevin did a great job, he was attentive, friendly and professional. The food was excellent, we ordered the linguine con le vongole with red sauce, and white wine sauce, and the filet of sole. For dessert, we shared a Napoleon and they surprised the birthday girl with a piece of tiramisu with a candle on it, very considerate of them. We'll go back there for sure. Our gang of 6 enjoyed dinner at Limoncello Ristorante. Friendly, attentive service. A dinner here can't be rushed, and I sense servers are over-taxed to attend to everyone. Crusty bread with olive oil was outstanding. Enjoyed appetizers of Vongole Oreganata (Clams with bread crumbs), Insalata Di Cesare (Caesar Salad), and Insalata Di Bietola (Beet Salad). Entrees were Linguine Vongole, Lasagna Bolognese, and Rollatini Di Melanzane (rolled eggplant) ordered from appetizer menu. Served with nicely chilled martini, glasses of red wine, and a bottled IPA. We shared dessert: Tartufo (Vanilla Ice Cream with fudge) and Limoncello Cheese Cake. Three big positives: Caesar Salad was perfectly dressed, Linguine Vongole was made with whole tiny baby clams...so tender and perfectly cooked, and evening specials were described with prices. Overall food quality is very good. Two Small Gripes: * We were not offered any draught beers * At these prices, I would expect to be offered freshly shaved Parmigiano Reggiano cheese. Parking is valet. Open daily, dinner only. Limoncello Ristorante is popular and so reservation is essential even on this Wednesday evening. Great food, excellent service, and a very cozy ambience makes Limoncello one of the best Italian restaurants in Northern Palm Beach county. I recommend starting at the bar to relax and enjoy interacting with the bartenders. They are a lot of fun! Then move to the elegant restaurant area and take advantage of recommendations from the experienced servers. Peter was very friendly and helped us choose our entrees. We had the Scallopine di Vitello, Sslmone Grigliato, and shared a Cesar salad. It was excellent. As we prepared to leave, there was a torrential downpour outside, so we returned to the bar for a nightcap. Limoncello is a little on the pricey side, but it is well worth it. Wasn't expecting too too much given the reviews and such, but this was very good. I had the shrimp with cannellini beans and pancetta which was well cooked and nicely seasoned. The salmon was a good medium and the peppers, mushrooms, and other garnishes were excellent accompaniments. The potatoes weren't consistently cooked and a bit mushy rather than crispy though. The warm chocolate lava cake was a bit overcooked but the peanut butter in the middle was a great idea. Service was solid and food was very good. I'd come back. Overall 4.4/5 read more
