I used to come here for pizza a lot in high school so coming for one of my best friend's wedding rehearsal dinner was so full circle. We had the back room for the night, and it was the perfect fit. 4/14/26- our families annual Birthday Celebration always at Carmines CFP! They take great care of us! There were 7 in our party tonight and they graciously gave us the small separate room... we were thrilled! From the hostess to all the supporting staff it was 5 Star all the way!! Our server was Juliana and she was a SuperStar! Never missing a beat! Extremely attentive.. kept the wine bottles flowing and the amazing appetizers!!! We ordered: Margarita flatbreads 2- calamari Both were delicious! Fried Calamari appetizer totally undercooked and raw. Sent back, they actually and amazing sent back the exact same calamari including the lemons we had squeezed earlier but now the calamari was severely overcooked. Sent it back and ordered baked clams. What was served to us was baked clams as I have never seen before in my lifetime! With the shell of course these clams were completely ROUND like a.ball. Totally filled with bread which had a strange taste, perhaps we needed an electronic clam detector because we could not find one single lonely clam. Two at table said the pizza was tasty, one lady said her chicken had to come from BF GOODRICH TIRE COMPANY because her steak knife couldn't cut it. The waitresses have always been great and the hostess is so kind and thoughtful and held the door for us when we were leaving as I wheeled my Mom out. Went there for happy hour last week. There was a new bartender named Lacey... I was really impressed with her prompt, very friendly service. Asked her about espresso martini, she explained ingredients. I ordered my usual pepperoni/ mushroom flatbread which was delicious but could have been just a little hotter. I was hungry so I devoured it as it was. Consistently tasty and cooked just right. I also ordered the Espresso Martini which was very good. Lacey was excellent! I had my wedding reception at this location. Theres two reason I don't give it a 5 star is because we had only one server for a party of 18 and my party definitely needed two to keep up with filling our drinks! And cause the music was so low and not the best vibe, however I could've asked for better music but as the bride I had so much other things on my mind! However the food was amazing!!!! The appetizers bruschetta was phenomenal and everyone's favorite!!! As was the margarita flat bread! Now I added a few pics I did get to take of the food options we had, however I had the tiramisu for dessert and that was amazing as well!!! Sat, 2/22/2025 - Mid-Afternoon - Bar During Weekend Happy Hour FOOD: The food was good. We ordered the antipasto salad from the main menu for $16. From the happy hour menu, we chose the eggplant rollatini, which is one of our favorite happy hour dishes in town. It was light and not heavy or greasy. We asked for only a little grated mozzarella cheese to keep it light. Their piping hot Italian bread with pesto made with oil infused basil and Italian herbs was fantastic, as always! I wish they offered a different butter; I'm not a fan of hard butter in foil, which ruins the bread experience. My husband had two beers, while I enjoyed a club soda with lime. AMBIENCE: If you have low vision, the bar area can be quite dark, featuring dark woods and dim lighting. The long, L-shaped bar has several two-top high tables running parallel to it, along with a few TVs. On mild days, the bar can open up to the outside, making it lovely to enjoy. There's an overhang outside, which adds to the charm. SERVICE: While there were only four tables of patrons in the main dining room, it was a different story at the bar, which was 80% full but had only one bartender. We sat down at the bar, where the four bar tops needed to be bussed. Our waitress was hardworking, maintained a positive attitude, and remained pleasant, despite being short-staffed with no support from management, food runners, barbacks, or bussers. Several waitstaff were hanging out by the espresso machine, seemingly killing time from the nearly empty dining room. Despite her best hustle and time management, no one was running hot dishes to her, delivering bread and pesto, or checking if anyone needed grated cheese, salt, or pepper. There was no barback to clean up, offer water, sodas, or replenish silverware and napkins. At one point, another patron joked that she jogged down the length of the bar, which elicited a good laugh from us all. Unfortunately, we decided to leave because it seemed she wasn't supported by management in a hands-on way or even in a support role. They could have assisted by running out food, bussing tables, bringing a tray of bread and pesto, or helping patrons with their takeout bags. All of these little actions take time away from bartenders. After two rounds of cocktails and one round of light appetizers, we took our business down the street to another Italian restaurant. The energy was simply off for a beautiful Saturday afternoon of day-drinking. VALUE: Bottom line: Yes. Good ambiance, good prices, and good food. However, the service on this date was lackluster. It happens. Lastly, will we be back? YES! We've visited Carmine's Coal Fire numerous times and know that the service isn't usually like this. We'll definitely return! read more

Went here last night with friends after having not been here in a couple years. Nice ambience and bar. We had some drinks first. I'm always disappointed when a I order a dark and stormy and it's served in a cooper mule mug. Dark and Stormy is about the appearances and should be served in a tall clear glass. Anyway, we ordered salads before our mains. Nothing special about the salads. For mains 3 of our party had the chicken parmigiana, which they all said was very good, but the pasta came with almost no sauce on it. I had the lobster ravioli. It was served lukewarm warm and was disappointing from a flavor perspective . Table also ordered an arugula pizza. That also wasn't very good. Crust was limp , almost soggy. Flavor just wasn't there. Probably a place I wouldn't return to. Much better Italian options locally. read more

The pizza came cold and hard. It also appeared a bit burned and black. Not worth the additional fees for delivery, long wait time and lower quality. Down visiting my brother and decided to get back to Carmines off of Military Trail in Jupiter. Food is always fantastic, service is friendly & a great vibe to the entire restaurant. Several of us had the Mahi Spinach Wrap w/a small salad which was very good! Others had the Margarita Pizza as well as the mushroom burger with onion rings. Let say all plates were clean after everyone enjoyed their meal! They do have a bar area by the kitchen that has ample space to just have a beverage or if you decide to eat at the bar it would be comfortable. Great spot check it out! read more

The food is excellent, coal fired pizza is tricky to reheat when you take it home and never seems to be the same as fresh, this is our opinion, it is not the same as reheating other style of pizza, so ordering enough to eat while at the restaurant is a good thing. Food we had was excellent, the steak sandwich was the best I ever had, fresh ingredients and very tasty, we had the calamari appetizer and it was very fresh and tasty. Ok here's the story. Went to this restaurant with two friends. Gin and tonic, gooood, lemon drop martini gooood, wine good, fruit Flys very bad. The food: wifie veal marsala thumb down, sauce had little marsala flavor. Guest Chicken Parm thumbs down. Sent back off check. Guest lasagna ok thick 3"s fair amount of cheese. My dinner shrimp fra diablo yikes had added cherry peppers, first bite made my eyes water. I like spice and this did the trick. God help me in the morning. It arrived cold with no lettuce, no tomato no toppings no oil and vinegar as described on the menu just plain bread and some meat put on there it took an hour. I can't even believe. Then we couldn't find our waitress half the time I finally got up to walk out left my husband to pay the bill so that she could see we were leaving so that we could flag her down and at least pay for the meal that we didn't even eat. I can assure you that I will not be stepping back into this establishment to have lunch or dinner ever best of luck if you intend to stay in business, whoever the owner of this establishment is really needs to take control and fix and put processes in place so they don't have customers walking out disappointed. read more

I'd give this place 0 stars if possible. It was the worst dining experience I've ever had, no exaggeration. The waiters literally yelled at me and my family when we went to the manager to complain that our waiter was repeatedly ignoring us and messing up our orders to the point of bringing my kids to tears because they were so hungry from waiting for so long for their order that the waiter messed up in the end. Instead of apologizing and compensating for the awful service and terrible treatment, the waiters and manager were hostile towards us and barely corrected the situation. On top of that, the food is terrible. You're better off going somewhere else where the waiters don't verbally assault you. read more

I asked if I could have double veg instead of mashed potato and she nodded, it was one of the most expensive items on the menu. well you got 3 TINY medallions of swordfish and the vegetable was not enjoyable at all..when the check came the price was now $42..when questioned she said that was the up charge for double vegetable which I didn't eat and she saw I didn't eat it. This is a local staple gem of ours. We love to come here because they do great happy hour specials from 3-6pm. Most of their glasses of wine are 1/2 off, and most of their appetizers are under $10 during this time. (They're also running some great summer specials too!) It's almost always crowded in the bar area, so make sure you get here early. When the weather is nice, they'll open up the outside bar too. The food menu is very legit, with lots of options to choose from. Make sure you ask for the bread with the pesto sauce when you arrive, it's well worth it. They have a lot of options for their pizzas too, which we love. The staff is very friendly here, and you're bound to see a lot of locals, as it's definitely the neighborhood gem. read more

Second time same issue so I figured I'd do a review to get management's attention. Although sadly I don't think they care as I don't see a single Owner Response. Servers need to be trained to be attentive to tables. Our server last night passed by our table 4, yes 4 times making direct eye contact with me and our empty drink glasses which were empty for over 25 minutes. He was very busy with other tables and apparently couldn't be bothered with us. It's unfortunate because we stopped ordering drinks and passed on dessert because of this, costing the restaurant $125-$150 in lost wine/liquor/dessert revenue. Yes a server cost the restaurant that, a direct impact from very bad service. What's even more disappointing is that the food is always great but the service the past two times has made it an experience that we just don't think we can tolerate another time. Please fix this, if servers can't handle the amount of tables they are given then I suggest having a full time utility person checking on drinks. I can assure you that their wage/salary will be exponentially less than the lost revenue. read more

Was visiting my daughter's family and looking for a good, quick and hot lunch. We agreed on pizza and they recommended Carmine's, so we ordered a couple of pies for takeout, walked to pick them up, met the hostess who was very pleasant and brought out our pies piping hot! We got home and dug in and couldn't wait as i'm a sucker for "fired" Pizza! The Cheese and pepperoni was very good and the sauce was delicious with good proportions and the crust was appropriately charred and tasted very good! Came here for dinner with a friend after a work event nearby. We were starving and they were open. Service was great, everything came out quickly and we were well attended to. We were too hungry to even take any pictures but we started with the mozzarella planks... yes planks... not stick. They were very good. The bread they bring also very good. I had the veal parm for my entree and it was fantastic. Ordered it with pappardelle which is my favorite pasta and very happy to see they had it on the menu.
