These guys are sometimes pretty cool for a while. Though I had issues with there "Security" team. One of the girlfriends of the guy at the front door almost hit me flying in the opposite driveway. I was primed to pull into the handicap spot if she hadn't of come in fast Then preceded to yell at me for asking if she was actually qualified to park there. She then walked in and went to her boyfriend and started talking about me. Anyway the manager Luis didn't seem to care at all. Both times I dealt with the management they seemed to be very nonsensical they just want to sell the weed. With so many options these days for your cannabis needs you would think these people would be so naive. Prices are a bit high on some things and cheap on the others. The manager then said that the handicap spot is not a legal one. By this point I was annoyed for the way I was treated by both the front door guy and the manager Luis. I stated that every parking lot has to have a designated spot. He still said that it was just a fake handicap spot. He then turned the sign around. ADA standards require a minimum number of spaces depending on the size. I started to walk to my car but realized I didn't get what I came. So I walked back in and the same two guys were like "I need to see your Id" in a very condescending way and I said you already saw it twice in three minutes. I was obviously annoyed so I get my id out again and show it to him. First off, to everyone complaining about prices....Did you ever stop to think that there is a 37% taxon weed? And that all their prices already include that tax into their prices? So that $5 joint, $7-$10 gram really is more like a $2 joing and a $5 gram? Now tell me where on the streets you can get "decent" weed for that price? While knowing exactly where and what your product was grown with? It pays to have LEGAL and PESTICIDE FREE WEED! And if that's not enough for you than continue to buy from the streets and quit your bitching! I think people forget Ike's is listed as the #1 pot shop in all of Washington for a reason, they have dank products, decent prices, friendly and educated staff, plus what other company gives you free stuff and a discount with every purchase?? I have been going to ikes for years n i used to live n auburn n there shops n seattle r way better then auburns..im confused who is giving bad reviews there prices r on point they have variety for all kinds if u r low in cash or have a full wallet u definitely will get what u came for..now it can be harder to find the right flower or carts u like but if u ask the right questions n talk to your budtender n let them help u find the right choice u should be as pleased as i always am when goin to ikes central district is on point i love them n adore all there staff i also go to Capitol hill if they dnt have what i came for the other stores will have what i need ..i absolutely love this store. Let me just say that Uncle Ike's is the Nordstroms of pot shops. (Except for the return policy, of course.) The selection is huge, the prices attractive, (Oops! Another difference from Nordstroms), and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. As a (reasonably well-preserved) fossil from the days of narcs and dime bags of stems and seeds I am constantly amazed at the variety of products available. Along with the extensive selection of recreational fare, the staff recently recommended some topical CBD products which made a big difference in the pain levels after my recent partial knee replacement (and allowing me to avoid opiates). I have a few recreational favorites but it's fun to just ask for suggestions from the budtenders. More often than not I end up with a flower or concentrate that I've never tried before and am usually pleased. I am also a fan of the edibles, especially the sodas and chocolates. Their menu sucks, you can't pull up pounds it's mixed in with all weights. They also do not honor their advertised low prices (which are no better than their nearby competitors Forbidden Cannibas). They're quick to respond on here but they absolutely lie, and treat you like dirt when you ask them to honor their prices. They literally lie to get review like this removed from Yelp, and Yelp does anything their paid advertisers want them to do This is their response to complaints: "You're obviously Seattle's #1 douche. I'm ok with you never coming back" FROM the owner. This is an example at how they respond when a budtener says they don't have to sell pot at their advertised price and they don't have to even listen to a MANAGER who said they should. What an unexpected pleasant surprise I had today at Uncle Ike's central District with an employee named Josiah. Today has been a busy Monday for sure. Having a lot on my plate with little to no time to spare. Josiah has helped me in the past but something about today had me feeling like "that girl". Josiah remembered helping me at another location all together, I could not believe this man who I am sure sees 100's of people a day remembered Little old me. He made me feel like a queen the way he took his time and pulled great suggestion that where good deals on my wallet. I am very picky about my Mary Jane selections. Josiah was patient with all my questions and trust me I had plenty. I am not one for raving reviews but sir bravo to Josiah. Such a joy. I had wanted to come see ikes since they made it in the news just to see for myself. I knew it was not in the best part of Seattle and the feeling was confirmed upon my arrival. Its a tiny store but not that you need more room. Ample parking right next door to a Church. That bugs me, but Still ok. Inside I was the only person in the store and got a weird vibe like you would if feeling unsafe or watched like in a porn store. In Full silence. Older guy came out from the back and stood and watched silently while i was being helped by a less than enthusiastic guy. Prices are decent compared to other dispensaries I visited this weekend but selection and potency mediocre. I dare not visit this place at nights or ever actually. Not good prices This last time though, the uber rude way in which I was talked to simply for asking "would you happen to know how much those chips cost" was one of those times where your eyes just get wide and you're like "what is happening right now"? And of course Notre Dame's lil fightin' Irishman didn't help things either. 3 stars Maybe your visit will be awesome, maybe it won't. Question that before choosing. As far as recreational marijuana goes, Uncle Ike's is the leader in lowest prices for RECREATIONAL CANNABIS. If you guys are looking for your cheap $8 grams; I suggest you go see a doctor and get your medical marijuana authorization and leave recreational alone. These recreational shops are perfect for non-Washington residents to come to a safe, secure place to buy quality product. In regards to pricing, they do have $10 gram specials every Monday and Tuesday. They also carry certain ounce specials: $280 for 28 grams! Also, they provide the best form of edibles for people who have never had edibles because recreational edibles are usually dosed lower, making them perfect for noobies. If I could pick zero stars for this location, I would. One would think that a location that gets picketed on the regular by demonstrators would have a chill attitude for their customers. You would be wrong. The unmitigated asshole-ishness the personnel have for the clientele that comes in is patently ridiculous. Even their other locations are completely different - these dickweeds on 23rd are one of a kind. Beyond me how they remain in business.. You have choices - use them! Ponder is across the street, Ruckus is over on 15th, Have a Heart is in Belltown, Dockside is in SODO. Seriously, do yourself a favor - go anywhere else than the Uncle Ike's on 23rd. Great first time buying experience. Never been to that area of town so easy to find. A "security" guy at the door so made me feel 'safe'. I loved the Disney style lines. Gave it more of a business transaction and not like I was doing something bad. The staff offered menus to everyone in line while they were waiting. Seemed to have a good selection. The guy that helped me was Super Nice and didn't try to pressure me into anything too pricey since I told him I was still new to buying on my own. Gave 4 out of 5 stars only because I don't know what a 5 star place should look like. I will absolutely go back again. read more

I have to say, I liked Ike's but now I love it. Why? Because when we come in, we are treated like family down to them greeting our pup and giving her a treat. This location is honestly the best one in Seattle. Tomy D. is seriously as good as it gets when it comes to bud-tending. The best pot shop in Seattle. Smallish store, huge selection, very efficient, cool staff and best of all great prices! I compared a bunch of store's prices online and was blown away how much cheaper Uncle Ike's is. I only bought a joint but when I went to the glass shop across the parking lot to look around they gave me a free gift card for the car wash up the street for a $12 car wash! The said with any purchase at all at the pot store or the glass store, customers get a free $12 car wash. My joint was only $5. I basically made $7. Insane. I don;t know how they do it. read more

Wow! I never thought a place like this could be a reality. Uncle Ike's really seems to have this marijuana thing down. They've got lots of deals and specials that you can ask about, and the staff is super friendly. We were helped by a young woman with a blonde fro. I've been going to Ike's for a long time but lately I've noticed their hired security that use the unmarked white cars, at the Central District location acting very hyper aggressive towards customers coming in and out. They follow certain customers in and out the store they deem as suspicious. There is a way of doing your job discreetly without harassing and stalking your customers. It creates an unwelcoming tense atmosphere. And I'd expect more from Ike's than getting mean mugged for patronizing their store. read more

My friend was verbally attacked with homophobic slurs by Uncle Ike's security guard last last weekend. He was a longterm customer, and it was really unfortunate. When he called to try to let management know, he was hung up on. I do not support homophobia, and I will not be back. It is too bad, because these guys had built up a decent brand, but newer cooler shops are opening all the time now, so I don't ever have to give my money to a business that does not treat its customers or neighbors with respect. Love Uncle Ike's! They have a large variety of mostly reasonably priced weed and usually have some type of deal or promotion going on. The location is pretty convenient with lots of parking at the business itself and surrounding area. The staff is always helpful with suggestions and some even know me by name now which makes picking up pre-orders easier/faster. They always have specials like that. $5 pre rolls were on special last time too and it was strong! I have been going to the store at Union and 23rd since they opened it. I wanted to express my appreciation for the security detail. Terrence one of the guards has been there from the grand opening, and has always been courtious and friendly. Also very fond of Rebecca West who is a Bud-tender and her friendly service and comes up with some great recommendations.
