I am in shock after reading Daria R's post on Yelp (posted 4/3/2018) I believe this to be my Maltese puppy Chloe she is referring to. It seems that the truth has finally come out. My puppy Chloe almost died when she was attacked by a large dog while at Uncle Jeff's. She had a bulging eye, a broken jaw, and was bit all around her neck. She had three major surgeries after she was in Jeff's care. He was extremely unprofessional in his actions and communication via email, text, and over the phone. *He deleted Chloe's photos from his website since the incident, but I took snapshots before he removed them. I use Jeff for my small dog for 2 1/2 days. He made me (the owner) feel very comfortable when I arrived. It is not a large place but that is not what dogs care about. They care about having someone that loves them. And I really felt that with Jeff. My dog is a bit nervous with new surroundings. so Uncle Jeff took both my dog and his dog 008 outside for a meet and greet. His wonderful calm Ridgeback has the most soothing personality. Once on the patio 008 was like taking care of my little dog that was somewhat nervous. He was gentle and kind. I noticed before I left my dog wasn't shaking anymore. And that really gave me comfort for me to leave. I'm not saying that he puts all dogs with his but Jeff knows which dogs can do well together. Also he does not have many dogs at one time which is another big plus. His crates were large and clean. He also does grooming watch my dog needed. Jeff did a very nice job. My dog Chico is dead. I dropped him off and never saw him alive again. He was attacked by another boarded dog. He had a broken leg with a laceration and brain swelling. He was a 3 pound teacup that needed to be kept safe. He didn't call my mother, he texted her. He gave aspirin without permission. When my mom called him back he was not at his home. My mom had to ask him to retake him to vet. He was euthanized within a few hours after arriving at ER. My family is heartbroken Chico was 16 yo and a rescue. Uncle Jeff is absolutely heaven-sent! My husband and I were really nervous when it came to finding a dog sitter because we have 4 dogs which is a lot to handle on volume alone. We've never left them overnight with a sitter so we were nervous about being out of town and for them to be away from home. Jeff allowed us to have a meet and greet before our departure with a tour around his place. My husband and I were happy that Jeff was very knowledgeable and his place was very clean. Having four dogs can get crazy but he welcomed the challenged and didn't seem at all phased. While we were away Jeff sent photos and gave us occasional updates. Uncle Jeff is so nice and such a great pet sitter. We brought our chihuahua daisy twice to him during the past month. Our dog was literally on deaths doorstep with a 50% chance of survival post surgery . We had a trip prescheduled before our dog got sick. We left daisy(a sick dog at the time) in Jeff's care and he did an amazing job! We felt so comfortable leaving her with him. He administered meds and sent plenty of photo updates. I needed a groomer during Covid 19 because my groomer was closed. I found out that if it is a boarding facility that it was considered essential. I was nervous taking my pup to someone I had never seen before. Well, I must say it was a great experience. Jeff met me outside, walked me through his gate and showed me the area which my pup was to be groomed. The area was outdoors and clean. I have been taking my chocolate Labrador Jackson "Jack" Brown to Uncle Jeff for about two years. Jack is older and has hip and leg issues and can't walk all that well. Jack needs special attention, and human contact which he was not getting at the regular boarding places where they put dogs in dog runs and walk them twice a day.
