A happy puppy who looks forward to his Valley Pet Sitters Visit

If you have a pet, this is the company you want to use to look after your precious baby. I just got a Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy. His arrival was a little sooner that I had anticipated. I panicked. I kept thinking I made the wrong decision because I had several business trips planned, and several days at work where I just couldn't be at home to let him out for a potty break and keep consistency with his time to play, rest, and potty train. I heard about Valley Pet Sitting years ago when I had my first precious boy, but although I called them, it turned out I didn't need them because I had family that could pitch in when I was away. They literally saved my life with my new puppy. They come to the house and give me a play-by-play of everything they did with my puppy (including taking pictures and videos of him playing in the backyard with them) on their app. They also use a Gio tag so you can see where they are when you pooch goes for a walk or just plays in the backyard. The sitters are kind, knowledgeable, and thorough. They asked me every detail about how I take care of him and what's important to me in my home to make sure they don't leave anything disturbed. They even called to make sure that it was OK for him to be on the couch when he made a decision to take a nap during a visit. They are exceedingly responsive and reasonably price for the quality of care and peace of mind I get from their support. I love this company and will certainly be recommending them to friends and family in need of Pet Sitting.

We have used Valley Pet Sitting since 2021, when they squeezed us in for Thanksgiving week after our friend bailed. It is such a relief to know a sitter will always be available for our cats! We love reading the daily updates and based off the pictures our cats seem very happy as well. Would highly recommend for the peace of mind they provide on multiple fronts.

We have used VPS when we travel for over 5 years now. They have always provided great service and clear communication, including daily updates and pics of our fur buddies. We always return to a clean house (including the cat boxes) and happy critters. Thanks for everything

After bringing my dog here a few times, I can honestly say it's been a great experience every visit. The owners are genuinely kind, attentive, and easy to communicate with, which made me feel comfortable right away. The facility is always clean, spacious, and you can tell they are animal people, I'm really grateful I found them. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog daycare.

It was telling because when we picked the dogs up Danny profusely apologized for what happened which as you can see from the response below is very different then what they say now. High Paw to me has always been a safe place where we could leave the most important "people" to us without any fear. That is such a rare thing to find in the world. What happened last Monday felt like a deep betrayal of that trust. Danny has always been wonderful and we have been leaving our dogs there for several years. He even made sure to care for our sweet dog who was in his last days with such thoughtfulness that they had a fan for life in me. That sadly changed last Monday night when we left them at their new location for a 6 night stay. Even from the drop off- something felt very off- there was very little discussed and the conversations were abrupt and really non- existent. We had our best friends dogs that were also going to be there for the first time for the 6 days, and we recommended high paw without any thought. We were told that the dogs would be well taken care of and we would be updated frequently on how things were going. When we checked in- High Paw didn't ask any questions at all about how much to feed the dogs or their potty habits or walking or anything, which is a big deal for 6 days. We texted them directly after dropping them off just to give them all those details . We didn't receive any response. We followed up a few more times, and everyone (especially the ones that hadn't been there before) grew concerned. We called and no response. Our flight was due to leave in a few hours and we hand t heard anything back. After multiple attempts we finally reached the owner who was defensive and dismissive of our concerns and when we asked questions if they had eaten or gone out this evening- instead of confirming - she told us to come get the dogs in the middle of the night. When we picked them up it was clear that not only had they not been fed (the food hadn't been touched) but they all seemed desperately thirsty. It broke our heart because not only did it torpedo our vacation it broke the trust we had in leaving the ones we love the most with them. We were kind and courteous throughout the entire process and our only concern was for the dogs and just needing some sort of update letting us know they were okay. In the end- it comes down to trust. It takes a long time to create and an instant to break.

If you're looking for a place where your dog will be loved like family, look no further than Dog…read moresitting by Ally I cannot say enough wonderful things about Ally and the care she gives to every dog. From the moment I met her, I could tell this wasn't just a business--it is truly her passion. She has such a kind heart, an incredible work ethic, and a genuine love for animals that you can feel immediately. My standard poodle, Chewy, goes to daycare with Ally , and when we went to Hawaii for nine days, I never once worried about him. Instead of being kept in kennels, the dogs get to live together in a comfortable home environment. They can relax on dog beds, sleep on furniture, play together, and simply be dogs. It's such a refreshing and loving alternative to traditional boarding. One thing that meant the world to me was how often Ally kept me updated. Every morning and every evening she sent me photos and updates of Chewy having fun, relaxing, and making friends. Seeing those pictures while I was away gave me complete peace of mind and allowed me to truly enjoy my vacation, knowing he was happy, safe, and loved. I also love seeing how much thought she puts into making the dogs' days special. During the hot weather, she even sets up fun water play for them, and it's obvious from every picture that the dogs are having the time of their lives. Although I've only known Ally for a short time, I genuinely admire her. She is young, hardworking, compassionate, and has built something truly special. It's rare to find someone who cares this deeply about every dog in her care. Chewy absolutely loves going there, and I wouldn't hesitate for a second to leave him with Allie again. I recommend Ally's Boarding & Daycare wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a safe, loving, and happy place for their dog. Your pup will be treated like family, and that's something you simply can't put a price on. Thank you, Ally for taking such incredible care of Chewy. We are so grateful to have found you!

I guess it's time for another update because somehow every year I become even more grateful for…read moreAlly and Travis. Lately, I've seen so many heartbreaking stories about doggy daycares: dogs getting hurt, neglected, escaping, or simply not being treated with the love they deserve. Every time I read one, my first thought is the same: thank God Nova has Ally and Travis. Nova has been coming here since he was just 6 months old. He's now about to turn 5, which means they've been part of nearly his entire life. They've watched him grow from a timid, reactive puppy into the confident, happy dog he is today. They know his quirks, his routines, what makes him nervous, what makes him excited, and they have loved every version of him along the way. As dog owners, we all know there are very few people we'd trust with our entire heart. That's what our dogs are. They're not just pets, they're family. And somehow Ally and Travis have earned a level of trust that I didn't even know was possible. I've left Nova with them for the longest periods I've ever left him with anyone, and I've never once laid awake wondering if he was okay. There has never been a moment where I questioned whether he was safe, loved, exercised, or cared for. That kind of peace is priceless, and if you're a dog parent, you know exactly what I mean. What means the most to me is that Nova makes the choice himself every single time. The second he realizes where we're going, he's beside himself with excitement. If he doesn't get to see Ally or Travis, he cries. When he does, he runs to them without looking back. As someone whose dog was once fearful of people, seeing him love someone that deeply tells me everything I need to know. Dogs don't fake trust. They don't pretend to feel safe. They either do, or they don't. Nova has never questioned whether Ally and Travis are his people. Over the years, they've been there through my work schedule, my vacations, family emergencies, and every moment in between. They have given me something I can never truly repay: the ability to go through life knowing that the biggest piece of my heart is safe. That feeling is something every dog parent hopes to find, and so few actually do. Even if life takes me somewhere else one day, if I'm ever back in town and need someone to watch Nova, there is no question where he's going. I would drive hours just to leave him with Ally and Travis because trust like this isn't replaceable. They're not just our daycare: they're part of Nova's family. If you're scrolling through reviews wondering whether this is the right place for your dog, I hope this helps. Five years later, after hundreds of drop-offs and pickups, I can say with complete confidence that choosing Ally and Travis was one of the best decisions I've ever made for Nova. They have loved him like he was their own, and I will spend the rest of his life being grateful for that.
