My cousin decided to break traffic laws, but I was not about to do that so I opted to go downtown in order to get turned around correctly and Park my vehicle the correct way. This park is clean and huge and has a ton to offer my kids and nephews and nieces really enjoyed the zip line as well as the slides and the super fun play areas. My older nephews opted to play a game of pick up basketball with guys. They just met wearing only the sandals on their feet. Luckily, no one broke their head open. The rest of us played a game of Pickleball close to the basketball court and enjoyed the shade as well as the many drinking fountains as Memphis police patrolled on their bicycle nearby.

They have their billboards along Highway 40 and if you blink you'll miss them, in a brown building off of exit 20. They carry the usual load of smoke bombs, sparklers, whistlers, and fancier stuff. The Redbirds postponed their game to the following day. But there was no way we could stay in Memphis an extra day, especially not on Easter Sunday when we had plans back home. Attempting to get a refund, or at least a credit so we could come back at a later date to watch the Redbirds, they flat out refused to help us. We were told that if we couldn't come back on Easter Sunday, we've just lost those tickets. DO NOT buy tickets to an event at AutoZone Park, lest the event be cancelled or moved only for you to lose your money. It's a serious gamble, especially if you're driving a long distance only to receive nothing in return.
