We expressed that we hadn't looked yet, give us a few, and he again pressured us, eventually saying "it's just really busy and we don't have a lot of tables because of that party." The whole end of our meal was him hovering and asking if we were done- at one point directly interrupting conversation to have me hand him "that last plate there" while he leaned over with a massive stack. Just really awkward and unprofessional. I'm truly not a table lingerer but this was like being at a McDonald's. We've always considered this a good place to take a group to connect and enjoy the beautiful atmosphere, but I wouldn't choose AVP again except for quick meals you don't care about.
