Since then I've been driving my silly self all the way to Schaumburg from Crystal Lake every time I needed to buy e-juice and let's face it: what I was saving not buying cigarettes I was making up for in gas! Thanks to Yelp I found Cigtechs; which in comparison to Woodfield Mall is just a hop, skip and a jump away. Unlike the Volcano kiosk in Woodfield Mall (surrounded by lots of noise and people running into you as you try to look at wares with a very pushy salesperson breathing down your neck) Cigtechs had a very comfortable and relaxed atmosphere with couches for lounging on and even the other patrons were very laid-back and talkative. Everything was lined up in an orderly and easy to peruse fashion on the walls and in crystal clear glass cases with nicer brands and spotlight products eye-catchingly displayed. Their selection of flavors is enormous! The man behind the counter was named Ram and he was very nice and helpful. He let me take my time without rushing me as I tried all the different flavors and immediately answered any questions I had about what flavors I was tasting in fluids labeled things like "cosmic". When I had finally settled on a flavor I liked (YOLO by Drake's Vapes, which is a wonderfully tart and subtle combo of lemonade and lavender which is simultaneously zingy and soothing despite the obnoxious name) Ram made his very respectful sales push explaining that citrus flavors (not just cinnamon, which I had known before) eat away at plastic tanks and showed me some nice glass tanks after seeing how my Volcano Lavatube tank fit into the actual vaporizer. I was sold, and he had me checked out in a snap before he showed me how to set up and fill my new tank, as the silicone filters were new to me (so SO much better than the cotton ones I was using before). All in all I think it was a very satisfying visit and I'll definitely come back again! Kudos to Cigtechs for doing everything right!

I placed my order online ahead of time- as I would have an Uber wait while I grab my pre-order. The dispensary inside is one of the most gorgeous in IL. The displays are colorful and sure to catch the eye. For the first time consumer, this is the place to go. The menu selection is impressive. Flower, extracts/concentrates, edibles, topicals, vapes. They also have a solid selection of merch and canna gear. They do have an ATM on site- as well as accepting debit cards. There is a small charge to use debit, so be aware of this. I entered the dispensary and headed straight for the checkout line. The place was pretty empty, MAYBE a handful of folks. A few in line checking out. I have never seen a place move so slowly in my life. I'd hate to see a busy weekend day. My Uber got tired of waiting, so it costed me money to summon another driver. The cashier was like watching paint dry. You should be able to be in and out. Instead, everything moves at a glacial pace. Offer a dedicated online pickup line. I also would love to see a bit more "pep" in the step to move people along. It shouldn't take 15 minutes of waiting with a handful of customers. Adding additional staff or registers would be extremely beneficial. As a first time visitor to that location, I did get 30% off. I truly appreciate it. The sale was very good. But I'll be honest: 10% off for medical is insulting compared to the competition. Most other dispensaries offer 15-25% off. They certainly can do better on this. I did appreciate the complimentary edible with an $80 purchase, thank you! I will certainly visit again when in the area, but as a seasoned cannabis consumer and med patient- I probably wouldn't go out of my way to visit there with how long it took to get in and out. The discount would need to be better or at least on par with the competition. Great selection. Gorgeous location. A process that needs a bit of refinement so things run smoothly.

They distributed advertising leaflets in downtown stores. The leaflets said they were now open. I'm from out town, out of state. Everything else I wanted to do was walking distance. I drove to the location, no sign, no information, and a rude fellow inside had no information on any dispensary even though he was setting up for the incoming business. There are always hiccups for new businesses but this is not a promising start, customer respect wise. And the field, marijuana dispensaries, is full of very good customer service, most of them are very informative from their very starts.
