If you were looking for some good down home, cooking, food with flavor and put some meat on your bones this is the place. The food here was excellent and the staff was awesome. I can tell you if I lived close I will be broke and weigh 500 pounds because I would be here constantly. And fortunately they didn't have the peach cobbler cause I would've ate more but unfortunately they didn't have it because that's my favorite dessert. Passing through Orlando on the way to the airport and was in the mood for some BBQ. It's a little off the beaten path but definitely worth it. A small place located in a small plaza, as soon as we walked in we were greeted with smiles and friendly faces. Uncle Tony was in the kitchen, and a friendly woman was running the register. My family ordered a variety of dishes. My son got the slider trio and said the chicken slider was the best BBQ he's ever had. My wife had the brisket Philly which was delicious, and I had the ribs and sliced brisket. They even offered the "fatty" point of the brisket when I ordered, which I quickly jumped on (everyone knows the point is where it's at!!) Everything was delicious, and the service was fantastic. Tony even came out of the kitchen a couple of times to chat. I will definitely hit this place up again the next time I'm in Orlando. My parents were visiting from Cali and wanted some barbecue so after a little research we decided to see what Uncle Tony had to offer. Though the place was almost packed to the brim, Jazmine made us feel as though we were the only ones there. She was more than accommodating and extremely professional. She didn't even break a sweat when serving a packed house by herself. My 2-year old daughter, who barely eats meat, literally ate the bone of the chicken wing she had. Jazmine managed to save me some mac & cheese after a huge order and now I see why they had such a big order. So good! The candy yams were like my Granny used to make them and the collards were on point (they use turkey)!!! It was clear by the number of regulars that came to get their Friday dinner that whomever they have in that kitchen knows what they're doing. Not everyone can make butter beans. Hell, not everyone knows what butter beans are, but Tony sure does. I would say my only complaint or issue would be that we kinda wanted to meet Ms LaShunda because it was her classy, yet informative, responses to some of the reviews that forced us to go. At any rate, we will definitely be back when we are in Orlando. P.S. It's one of those spots that you want to tell people about but then you don't because you don't want it to be packed every time you go. Nonetheless, bravo! read more

We discovered Uncle Tony's a few months ago and we've visited or ordered delivery at least once a week since then. It's honestly the best barbecue I've ever tasted. We've tried just about everything on the menu. It has all exceeded expectations. I highly recommend the ribs and the pulled pork. The sides are all delicious, but I've pretty well settled on the potato salad and the collards as my favorites. LaShunda and Tony are so warm and friendly, which just ices the cake. Every single thing was absolutely delicious and well seasoned. Even their sauces are top notch. I am from Texas and I'm an extreme stickler when it comes to BBQ and this place checked all the boxes. All of the meat was moist, tender, and falling apart. Also, the sides were not just an after thought like they are at most bbq joints. To really top it off the service was amazing. I called in a takeout order and who I'm ASSUMING is Uncle Tony himself took my order, listened to my requests, and was just the nicest person. He was the exact same in person when I picked up my food and it made me that much happier to be a customer at this establishment.
