But most of all, I didn't like the staff wearing the same gloves to buss tables, serve food and roll silverware. Yuck. We did enjoy the street corn and fortune cookie. The line moved quickly and is recommend coming early in the day or pre order if you plan on ordering a lot. I'll definitely be back to try some of their other seasonal items. I saw at least 3 to 4 tables of people sitting down and enjoying their barbecue and they seem to have a steady stream of traffic. The cashier who is also getting our food order together seemed really nice. She had a great personality. I honestly don't feel the need to go back and visit again. There was a hefty portion of delicious fried rice (5$ upcharge )under the protein. The rice had a peanut flavor to it, it was light and aromatic, very delicious. Worth the upcharge?... I'll let you decide. Service was fast and friendly place was packed and things moving fast but the staf was personable and attentive and even popped a joke in our short interaction. Like all the other places in Mills Market, Kai Kai has earned a spot in Orlando's food scene. Now the tough part is deciding what to eat next time because it all looks and is soooo good!

My personal favorites to get is the duck, bbq char siu, and the crispy pork. The roasted duck was good but was a bit on the fattier side. The char siu had good flavor and balance of sweet and savory. The crispy pork was delicious and had that crunchy skin that you would crave. The dish also comes with rice and bok choy. Overall, I would recommend this pale if you are in the mood for duck, char siu, or crispy pork.

This whole project begun as a food truck and has developed into this very aesthetically pleasing, inclusive, and unique environment. The vibe inside is very nice. Some heat would have been nice. The bbq overall was a 6/10 as there wasn't anything that stood out as a star or that you'd get anywhere else. I even give up fine dining on special occasions for their food because I know that the food, sides and drinks will be on point - every time! Their brisket is my fave but their chicken is also delicious. Watermelon salad, corn bread... all so yummy. I love that you go up to the counter to place your order - no waiting for someone to come take your order, grab a seat and your food will be delivered to your table by their great team who are always great to interact with.

I went back and asked for more bbq sauce because I got two small cups of bbq sauce which had about 3 tablespoons of liquid each. Pulled pork always sucks up a lot of sauce. There was plenty of meat and the bun was fresh but overall it would have been perfect with some acid from the pickles. My brisket and rib meal was excellent. I ate it later and I found the southern green beans to be good. I would definitely get this combo again. It came with a drink which is a canned soft drink. The front staff remembers us every time we go. I am obsessed with the herbal and spicy hot pot, so I usually have them make it 50/50 mix. The vegetables are fresh and there's a wide selection of meats and seafood. I also like to make my dipping sauce with the garlic sauce blend. My favorite is the Galbi which is seasoned well. Both savory and sweet. Another obsession is the asago dessert which is a tapioca pearls, black beans, fruits and jelly in a sweet coconut milk. I really enjoy going here since it's a good alternative to other AYCE in the surrounding vicinity because of the better quality. I want to see this place get more traffic because it's hidden in the old JoAnn's shopping center next to Aldi. There's plenty of parking in the commercial lot.
