    Brisket and ribs
    Clemson Tom W.

Holy Smokes, Orlando. This Is The BBQ Spot. I came in hungry. I left changed as a person. Let's talk about the brisket, because it deserves its own paragraph, possibly its own documentary. This is hands-down the best brisket I've ever had--not just in Orlando, but in my entire meat-eating career. Perfect smoke ring, insanely juicy, and so tender it basically sighed and fell apart when I looked at it. Every bite had that deep, smoky, peppery flavor that lets you know someone back there respects brisket. Now the ribs... good lord. Fall-off-the-bone doesn't even cover it. These things were hanging on by hopes and dreams. Bite one and the meat just politely excuses itself from the bone. No wrestling required. Here's the real flex: I didn't need sauce. Not even a little dip. Not even "just to try it." When BBQ is this good, sauce becomes an optional accessory, not a necessity. That's how you know you're dealing with elite-level BBQ. The service? Super friendly, laid-back, and genuinely happy you're there--which is exactly how BBQ joints should be. You can tell they're proud of what they're serving, and they should be. Bottom line: this is the best BBQ I've had in Orlando, and it's not even close. If you love brisket, ribs, or just want to have a religious experience with smoked meat, stop reading this and go eat here immediately. Bring napkins. Bring an appetite. Bring low expectations for every other BBQ place you'll eat at after this.

The service was great. Smiles and welcoming atmosphere. The smoke in the air made the atmosphere DELICIOUS. The sight of the food as she unwrapped it was mouth watering. Everything looked delicious, and did not disappoint!!! Juicy, fall apart brisket. The smoke on the skin of the chicken was a wonderful sight. Just knowing that flavor was going to be there. Price point was comparable to any place with great food and greater service. Definitely recommend.

An order at the counter authentic bbq spot. There are picnic tables to sit outside. We got the brisket and rib sampler platter and the meat was delicious and probably the best I've had in the Orlando area. I would skip the mac n cheese last time- tasted like leftover noodles with nacho sauce. I'd love to come back and try different sides. The employees were kind and moved swiftly.

4100th Review If you love old school bbq with a touch of old Florida charm you're going to love this place, this was my first time coming here and it was love at first bite. What a perfect setting to eat bbq, giant shade trees, very nice picnic tables, they even have an outdoor wash station to wash you hand and face after diving into this delicious selection of perfectly cooked meats and sides. I suggest reading the menu boards before entering this tiny establishment because once inside and you see all the offerings you will need to make some tough decisions fast. This establishment can only accommodate a few customers at a time inside so once you can enter you need to be ready to place your order, step up and pay and exit with your tray or take out order - the staff here beside being extremely friendly are very efficient and manage the chaos like pros. We got the spare ribs, smoked turkey and the pulled pork shoulder our sides were mac n cheese, sweet potato casserole and southern roasted corn off the cobb (you definitely need to plan to share the sides they are ginormous as well as homemade delicious) they throw in the best pickles (maybe ask for extras), a beautifully charred jalapeño pepper and white bread with their signature bbq sauce. I can't say with any certainty what my favorites are because there are so many things I didn't try but trust me I'll be returning for more. The turkey is smoky, tender and moist - the pork ribs are fall off the bone tender, smoke through and through with the fat rendered perfectly definitively finger licking good, the pork shoulder is cooked perfectly and is pulled with a perfect fat to lean ratio. The sides we had were delicious and abundant you better bring your appetite there's lots to eat here. The pickles and jalapeño pepper are the perfect accompaniment I wanted more of both, a great mixture of hot, spicy and crunch. Looking at the number of local customers there's no doubt if you're going to eat bbq in Oviedo this is the place...

Pros: Ambiance was awesome. A nice little building in the middle of town. Compact and homey. Very quaint. Service was also good. Very friendly folk who had our food ready right when we arrived to pick it up. Food was out of this world. Probably the best BBQ in the general Orlando area. Especially that brisket. Cons: No real cons. I will say, if you're already skeptical of sausage like I am, this place won't change your mind. Tips: Get as much meat as you can. It's all so good. Avoid the sausage, and the sweet potatoes. I think the bread is free. Get as much bread as you want.

As I pulled up and saw the smokers and gigantic grills I knew I was about to have a great meal. Greeted promptly, and ordered the half Chicken/Ribs combo with sweet potato casserole and baked beans. The chicken and Ribs were well seasoned, they provided some Barbecue sauce but did not need it for the Chicken or the Ribs. The sweet potato casserole was really good, I like how it wasn't overly sweet just the right amount. The beans were multi colored beans which I never had before, just like the casserole they were not too sweet and I appreciated that. There's no where to sit inside, there are some tables outside but I took it to go. Service was great and the staff was very friendly.

Really good food here! We got a two meat platter, brisket and spare ribs and a 1/4 pulled pork. The sides were smokehouse mac and cheese and sweet potato casserole. The ribs were my absolute favorite of it all. The meat literally fell off the bone when I picked them up, better than the brisket which is saying a lot. When I saw how the mac and cheese was prepped, the noodles were separate from the cheese sauce, I was a bit worried, but it was absolutely perfect. It's super wet and definitely has a smoked, seasoned flavor. Tip: the owner says if you come when it's raining everything is on sale, to get it gone!

I've been twice and if I lived closer I would go all the time. The interior is small, no inside seating, only outside seating - so make sure you account for the weather if you plan to go. I've gotten takeout both times . Since I live far, I ordered a lot since I knew it might be a while before I went back. Every. Single. Thing. Was great! The owner and employees are very nice. Had a good experience both times that I went.

Classic Mom & pop roadside BBQ Shack...Order inside one at a time then gobble up the goodness outside at one of several picnic tables. Huge portions and amazing prices... The Mac n cheese bowl with 1 meat and 3 sides is my favorite! It's a bargain at only $12. Love this place and what it stands for! I will be back again and again...

So it's expensive. Like very expensive. Or maybe it was just us ordering everything on the menu cause it looked so damn good! Briskets in located in Oviedo (if you drive past The Townhouse, you've gone too far), on a side street, in a neighborhood, with ample grass parking. It's walk up, with the interior consisting entirely of a kitchen, self service dessert and sides area, and more menus than the eye can process. We were immediately greeted by the nicest counter girl, who went over the menu, made recommendations, and explained the cooking process when we had questions. I ended up trying the Sloppy Q, which was a mix of all the meats on the menu, and chili. TO DIE FOR. and I promise I did not look presentable after eating it. LOL. My bf got the Texas platter, which had ribs, burnt ends, and brisket. The burnt ends were quickly inhaled by the both of us. But the true stand out? Whatever damn pickles they use. When we ran out of pickles, we sat in silence for a few moments. They were so delicious!! We spent $75 for 2 people, but we are greedy. I would've spent double, tbh. Go here!

So good. I found this place on Yelp and figured I'd take a ride to try it out after seeing the pictures. This place did not disappoint. I ordered a bowl with two types of potatoes, brisket, green beans, beans and cornbread. The bowl weighed about 5 pounds. It was only $13 and was very tasty. The staff was friendly and it place was a cool little spot.

Super friendly and nice people serving the food and taking orders for lunch today. I'm going to say this place had the best burnt ends I ever tasted. Nice size pieces of brisket so juicy and expertly smoked. The sloppy hog sandwich was BBQ pulled pork and Cole slaw on a bun. WOW was it good. There was no beer and no inside tables. It wasn't great sitting outside with temps in the 90s but the food and service was excellent.

After ordering, we sat down, and at noon, we all rose for the national anthem. They do that every day at noon, which is why they were so busy. The manager came out and sincerely thanked us for being the best crowd in a long time. When the food is ready, they call your name and you pick it up at the counter. On each table, there are six bottles of BBQ sauce. The best sauce though is kept behind the counter in the fridge and it's called the "white sauce." It's a BBQ take on yum yum sauce and it's delicious. I ordered the pulled chicken, which was tender and delicious. My friend ordered burnt ends and sausage. We also ordered banana pudding, which was disappointing. It was 80% whip cream with very little pudding. Overall, it was a great experience. The service was excellent, the dining room had great energy and the staff were incredibly friendly.
