The head trainer, Kelly, has tons of experience and expertise in the fitness world and is constantly learning and improving her routines for her class attendees. The classes are crossfire like, but I would say are challenging and reasonable for people of all ages. The gym itself looks like something out of a construction yard, but that only adds to the charm of the place. The personal attention and energy you get from Kelly and her husband cannot be beat. Whether you are a fitness star or just starting out they will work with you to tailor their daily workout to what you need. The workouts change every day so you can always expect something different. At $10 or a month rate of $70 per class the value simply cannot be beat. In a major metro area you would pay double those prices for probably half the quality you get from them. The coach of the night focused on technique and was helpful with any questions. If you haven't done crossfit before, each day is a different set of workouts. The workout of the day was broken up into three different skill levels: I chose the easiest, but you can modify it up or down as you wish! I was definitely feeling the workout the next day. At the end of the workout, we did a little cheer. Throughout the year, they do different optional competitions and team building events. The community aspect is super important when choosing a gym! It is almost impossible to speak to someone when you have questions. When you do finally get someone, it's often someone who does not know the answer. The responses to legitimate questions are often snarky and unhelpful. The staff is mostly teenagers who are unable to answer basic questions. Most are attentive to the students. Some are more interested in talking to each other while letting the children run wild without any instruction, but most of them are attentive. The cost seems pricey, but they are comparable to others. As they and RGA are the only games in town, options are limited.
