The plus was it was a quick drive from where I live. As I approached the door one of the nail techs were outside and greeted me and asked if I had an appointment. I did not and she proceeded to walk me inside and inquired about the service I was looking to receive. Upon walking in I was very impressed with the decor and cleanliness of the salon. It didn't seem like your typical Asian owned salon. The nail techs inside were all Hispanic. Everyone was super polite. Music was playing in the back. I was pleased with my toes even though I smudged one of my toes getting out the car :( For just a nail polish change it was $12 which I thought was good.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that the staff speaks Spanish and many of them are from my home country, Colombia. The salon is fairly new. It's decorated elegantly and simple but stylish. There's a beautiful flower wall when you first come in that you can take your post nail treatment picture and show your nails off! The staff offers you water, wine, or coffee. She asked me what shape & style I like and I told her I like cat eye but like some spikes too but that I wasn't sure if we were able to do that with me only having booked a classic set. She said yes we could. At the end she charged me an extra $15 for it. I do not like the lack of transparency when it comes to pricing. At least let me know beforehand especially when I asked. The set itself is gorgeous but about 8 hours later and my left eye is still a bit tender. Not sure if it's cause I haven't had lashes done in a while but just wanted to note that. I arrived a few minutes early because I was on a time crunch, but I waited in the lobby alone until after my appointment time started. I heard people, which I believe were employees talking in the back for a while. About 5 minutes after my appointment "officially" started my technician came to the lobby to tell me she was going to clean off the bed and would be right back. A couple minutes later she returned and walked me to the back. She asked me to sit on the wet bed, which I did. She went over the consent form and began going over the process, but I was familiar with a lash lift, so I asked her to just get to the service. At this point it was already 20 minutes after my appointment time started and the service still hadn't begun. She finally got to the service and started with a nice relaxing massage (about a minute). Then she proceeded to tape down my lashes for the next 10 minutes. She struggled to do this because she cleaned my eyes with a sopping wet cotton round. Then she asked me to open my eyes, which let even more micellar water in my eyes. She eventually gave up on taping down my bottom lashes. Everything from here went downhill. She asked me why if my eyes are always so watery....Uh they weren't until you saturated them. Then she proceeds to glue down the lash form. She gave me medium, which was for the first time of my life. My lashes a me pretty long and I always get at least large. She offered me a tissue to help with the scent of the first smelly cream. I declined. She got sooo much of it in my eyes that they sarted to burn horribly and wouldn't stop pouring tears . I told her it was burning and she tried to clean it, but she got a lot of product directly in my eyes. I was ready to run to the bathroom and wash my face. She rushed through the rest of the process and even took the lash forms off then put them back on to clean off the excess product. She put them back onto do the tint, but by then I was ready to run out. After she was done she handed me the mirror and I've never seen my eyes so bloodshot and so puffy. They were painful on their own and to the touch. It took days for them to feel normal. Then I finally saw the outcome...this is the worst last lift of my life. They are soooo crooked, crossed, and unnatural. 2 stars for the good service. For context, I have had over 15 lash lifts in my life and this was my worst by far! I'm stuck like this for 3 months and now my lashes are starting to thin out.

The original technician, Hanna, wasn't there at first, but when she arrived she remembered my polish and took over. She fixed the broken nail and it looked great. Before leaving, I mentioned the clear top coat on my ring finger had started peeling. She warned that reapplying clear coat might cause the nail to peel more. I said that was fine -- I just wanted it to look neat. At that point, her demeanor changed. She grabbed my hand abruptly and began applying product without properly prepping the nail. I felt uncomfortable and pulled my hand away. She then raised her voice and said, "You're no longer welcome here. I don't like how you're talking to me," and walked toward the back. I sat quietly, shocked. When she came back, she continued saying rude and unprofessional comments. Instead of escalating things, I calmly told her, "I forgive you." She replied, "You're not God." I responded, "You're right -- I'm only human. And look at how you're treating me." What's unfortunate is that I had just taken a photo of their business card to recommend them to a friend. After that interaction, I tore it up and threw it away. I walked in supportive and left feeling disrespected.

When we moved to the styling station, I showed her a photo of exactly what I wanted and she said she understood. She began drying my hair, but before my hair was even fully dry or blown out, she put a HOT CURLING IRON directly onto my still-wet hair. I immediately jumped and told her, "No, no!" She responded that she had told me she was going to curl it. The issue wasn't that she was curling my hair -- the issue was that my hair was STILL WET. Anyone using hot tools on hair should know how damaging and unsafe that can be. At that point, I was no longer comfortable allowing her to continue and decided to leave. I still offered to pay for the shampoo service, even though I wasn't happy with it. They initially tried to charge me $20, which I refused considering the experience. Thankfully, the woman at the front desk was understanding and charged me $10 instead. The front desk staff was kind, but unfortunately I cannot recommend the hair services based on my experience. Putting a hot curling iron directly onto wet hair was enough for me to immediately end the service and leave.
