This is only my second Lower Body Waxing experience but with the amazing care I had here, I am no longer afraid to get waxed again! My very first waxing experience was so traumatic, I had to research other places on Yelp because in my that experience, I had booked a particular person based on the reviews, and I found out at the end of my session that I got someone else because that person did not introduce herself in the beginning. I also opted for a full bikini wax session, and that lady pressured me to get more hair off more than I had planned for. Green Wave was A MUCH BETTER VIBE!! I was immediately greeted by staff the moment I walked in, and a minute later, my wax technician greeted me and introduced herself as Mariana with a friendly smile. I already started to feel at ease. She gave me an obstetric wipe to use before we got started, which puts me more at ease seeing how careful and meticulous their processes are. I can't say that waxing down there is painless because it's still hurt, but it didn't hurt as bad as my first experience -- I opted for the deep bikini ($35) and she cleaned up very well! She even offered to trim the rest of my hairs. Mariana was very patient with me, even asked if I wanted more hair removed and I did not feel pressured at all! Even after each pull, she applied pressure to dull the pain, and put powder and at the end used a cooling spray. Some of these techniques I noticed were never done in the first place I went to, which was just all pull and pull with no mercy. I've been going to Green Wave for a few years and I've always felt comfortable and liked the ambiance - plus, Maria is very friendly and does a great job. I had not been for a number of months (since before their unfortunate incident late last year). I recently went and was very impressed with the way the salon was rebuilt. One of the things I liked most was the pride Maria had in her new and improved workplace. She told me all about how the owners had meticulously chosen every aspect of their new office to make it a truly "green" and environmentally-friendly environment, right down to the paint on the walls. Hands down, the best wax experience I've ever had. The staff is very professional and personable. The facility is very clean with a calm atmosphere. I was a walk in, and was seen within 15 minutes. I hadn't been for a wax in years, so there was plenty to wax. Maria was patient and talked me through what she was doing as she was doing it. I love this place!! I'm visiting FL for the weekend and needed a wax. I searched for a place with great ratings and found the amazing Shima at Green Wave. The website allows you to make an appointment and pick an esthetician. I walked in 20 minutes later and was greeted by name. I waited less than 3 minutes before being escorted to a peaceful room with the most comfortable waxing table I've ever laid on. I received a Brazilian in less than 20 minutes and got a 15% discount for being a new client ( FL residents get 25%). Plus I got excellent tips on skin care going forward. They also have customer loyalty cards. I've been getting consistent waxes for the last 6 years and this was one of the best experiences to date. read more

Great experience! Green Wave is a beautiful place, with a clean, pleasant and very friendly environment. I had a free waxing session done with Eliana who was training a new employee. Eliana is very professional, and has a lot of experience. She made me feel welcome and comfortable thru the whole process. I had not done wax for a while because my skin is very sensitive and my face would break-out a lot after waxing. This is a great place. The specialist are all nice and professional. The aroma and vibe is so tranquil. The only thing I don't like it the style of the waxing. I prefer quick and over with. They tend to do a different method where it's constant waxing over and over. Not sure what the style is called. It's uncomfortable and makes the appointment seem so long. read more

ORIGINAL REVIEW - 4 STARS: Highly recommend Roxana if you're getting threading. She takes the time to make sure everything is perfect. I always make appointments for my visits and I am seen immediately. NEW REVIEW - 1 STAR: They take WAY too much time looking at your eyebrows to make sure everything is perfect that they ended up over-threading my eyebrows! Originally, I was very happy with the shape of my eyebrows and pleased at the specialist's services. But, after time and time of going and having a different specialist, the eyebrows kept getting thinner and thinner and shorter and shorter. My face was completely red and I was left with thin and very short eyebrows! I stopped going and let my eyebrows grow in for 6 months, then I started tweezing hair by hair by myself until my eyebrows got back to normal. IT WAS NOT FUN. If you go to Green Wave, make sure to tell the esthetician your preferences and have them go slowly instead of threading away at your face! read more

I found this place on Google and SO glad I did because they are won-der-ful. Didn't wait too long, as it was my first time, and had to fill some quick paperwork. It was also my first time experience the green wax and I was telling a friend who had never had a Brazilian before to DEFINITELY go here for her first time. It's about a billion times less painful than regular wax and cloth strips ON TOP of the fact that they don't double dip the wax. Get Cristina, she's awesome. Absolutely the worst. I was called and asked if I would come in for a free waxing so they can train new people. Appointment was for 10am, they contacted me and asked if I could come in at 930am and I came at 930. Filled out some paperwork and was brought in to start the waxing of my back. 30 minutes later and they only did a section about 6 inches. They said they were having problems with the equipment. So I just got back from getting my first ever full bikini wax. And I was kind of nervous going in because I heard horror stories about getting that body part waxed. But the front desk girl is so sweet and welcoming. Also they are taking a lot of measures to make sure everyone is sanitized etc. My wax specialist was maribel and she was so sweet and nice as well. She made sure to walk me through the whole process. She had nice calming music in the background that helped me ease my mind during the wax. Went for the first time today and saw Sadie. Had my eyebrows done and my upper lip. She made me feel relaxed and took her time and did a great job. I was able to use the discount from their website and that made the experience even better. They have a loyalty card and if you make your second appointment you get 5% off whatever service you have. If you're coming to get your eyebrows threaded, make sure you do not get the lady Shima!! I came here for the first time because I saw the good reviews that this place has but it was the worst mistake! I already have thin eyebrows as it it and I specifically told the lady I just wanted to clean them and not reshape them or make them thinner, and she did not listen ! She made them a lot thinner than what they already are. You can clearly tell because of the tan line in my eyebrows she threaded ALOT. Maybe she thinks thin eyebrows looks good cause she has tattooed thin eyebrows. And then she wanted to fill in my eyebrows and I told her no thank you and she kept insisting and I had to tell her about 3 times that I did not want her to fill in my brows with the gel that she had ! Very rude and doesn't listen. I do not know how the other ladies thread, and hey maybe the other ones are better and it was just my luck to get this lady. I live in Weston and I usually go to this lady in parkland and I came here in hopes that I find a lady closer to me but I was wrong! I had a FULL BIKINI (everything removed), tummy line removal and upper lip thread.The grand total was $49.99!Yes GOD,Nessa (YouTube It) It was my FIRST TIME at the GREEN WAVE BODY WAX but not my first go round with the waxing.So,I've had the good,bad and ugly!BUT,"SHIMA" and the staff here made this THE BEST WAXING EVER!!!!!! The place was fine nothing special but I'm giving it 1 star because Karen didn't do a good job. She really tried which made it hard to be blunt but she's just not talented. Both eyebrows look different and they rounded when I preferred an arched brow. So now I get to wait a few weeks until I can find someone who can fix them. read more
